Did you have a conversation in mafia chat with ghug about him getting sick from the food, and you forgot it happened somewhere else?

He did not say he was sick; he said he wasn't feeling good about the game. I made the quip that maybe it was the food poisoning, being in Cambodia and all, of which I have a connection since he's there now and I was there 2 years ago.

This is the only reason I could find that ghug gave for voting for me, and SpiritoftheRadio seemed to be one of his top scum reads, so it is strange that ghug started scum reading me as soon as I theorized that SpiritoftheRadio was an an original mafia (although I did theorize that ghug was mafia at the same time).ghug wrote: ↑Fri Jul 26, 2024 3:44 pmMy great theory of everything at this point:
Don't kill:
bona - He's been annoyingly dumb but I stand by my townread from yesterday so I don't think he's an OG mafia at least.
brain - Good town vibes most of the game. Again plausibly recruited but I see nothing that actually points to that and he'd be a bad target.
Maybe kill:
Col7by - Just ain't much here.
Haze - brain moved me a little bit. My gut still wants to townread and I like the indignation in response to brain, but he's preferable to the top group.
Yoyo - Very meh.
Actively like killing:
bozotheclown - He's been weird. I don't necessarily understand scum motivation for that but it's also not at all like his town game.
Hambone - Inconsistencies he can't explain feel like plausibly a scumtell.
SpiritoftheRadio - The wagon on me smelled really bad yesterday and I have a hard time believing there was actually no opportunistic scum on it. Nothing really to townread in my mind.
Also, a general reminder that hunting isn't a good indicator of towniness in games with two scumteams.

What do you think that I am doing is unusual and "not at all like" I play as town?ghug wrote: ↑Fri Jul 26, 2024 3:44 pmMy great theory of everything at this point:

Are you talking about the final D2 votes? Although there probably have been distancing votes, I don't think bussing is as likely as usual in this game since the mafia have another mafia team to try to find.Hamilton Brian wrote: ↑Mon Jul 29, 2024 6:31 pm@bozo, no I haven't considered those pairs. Right now I am working under the hypothesis that there was bussing happening on the D2 votes.

Bona, stop getting off on trying to goad me. If I feel like I need to vote you I'll do it of my own accord because it's the right thing for me to do.Bonatogether wrote: ↑Mon Jul 29, 2024 4:50 pm
this is patently not true lmao. you've spent a long time shading me and you don't have the spine to vote it. your posts have been self-evidently facile and useless, so it's clear that you're just waiting for a good opportunity to hop onto a wagon once it's already built.

D2 final votes, yeah. You may be right but this is a starting point for me on account of not really having anything else.bozotheclown wrote: ↑Mon Jul 29, 2024 6:45 pmAre you talking about the final D2 votes? Spirit just feels like a facade vote at this point and we need an OG here

Re: M 1029: The webMafia Olympics game 1 SPY VS SPY
The brainbomb pressure machine now turns to me. Idk man, my read is brain is mafia, it was painfully obvious since his first post today and now is stuck mentioning non sequitur Olympics posts since he needs to cover up a pretty bad prenegotiated code system. His analysis is also criticizing me for read changes I made days ago and also for not changing my reads on people like bona. I had paragraphs on paragraphs saying why and, if you look, when my reads changed. He made a point not to quite those because they were too long, but the narrative looks better without my words (he has been quoting lengthy posts all along so far). Really doesn't seem like a guy making honest arguments, seems like someone trying to paint a picture.
I thought about brain being turned today because previously he seemed very town to me, but then if that code was a prenegotiated code in the mafia chat, he could not have been turned today since he'd need to talk about it before hand. So he had to be mafia before then since recruits happen at EoN and he couldn't talk to mafia about it before today. I feel there is a strong chance BB may be an OG spy or he was turned N1. If that's true, most of my previous analysis is not really possible since Colby x bozo couldn't be a thing if BB was mafia before today. This makes brainbomb one of the best choices for killin imo.
Let's just rip the bandaid off and do the 180 town to scum ima vote for you right back at you brain, the end vote on me after bozo ends on me seems real scummy, especially considering how much you like to talk.

I think more likely than not that the OGs or at least one is a quieter person. I would like to take a shot on these people in order over spirit

Re: M 1029: The webMafia Olympics game 1 SPY VS SPY
In looking at the interactions between myself and yoyo on D2, yoyo first.
Kind of chastised me for not carefully reading their vote for Col7by.
Takes part in my Probable Pairs game and suggests they would recruit ghug.
Next post to me reminded me of my own circuitous thinking. Some of yoyo's logic, compared to mine, suggests the OG wouldn't have a problem declaring publicly who they would "hypothetically" recruit. I definitely disagree with that sentiment. (How important is this to come back to as we look at other interactions?)
They say that at some point I cleared them. "Thanks ham for essentially clearing me in the eyes of ghug. I don’t really care how other people see me. There are already 2 opposing spy teams that may have already figuring out this line of logic and would probably be pretty aggressively trying to root out the ghug-yoyo pair. Unfortunately you’re mistaken, and even if you’re right, I think bozo was on the right track that eliminating a spy this round makes the game very difficult for town later on." I don't know how I did it.
My first post to yoyo on D2 was a bit of a passive-aggressive shaming them for their day and their "recruit me" statements. There is some back and forth between us but more navel-gazing about recruits, methods, etc.
Since I am not a spy, there's obviously no attempt for me to bus them.

Is this you saying you would flip yoyo if someone else does with you to prevent a tie?Hamilton Brian wrote: ↑Mon Jul 29, 2024 8:33 pmIn looking at the interactions between myself and yoyo on D2, yoyo first.

I think that two votes on spirit and set go home is gross and would like to see another wagon form

Let me tie it up to get some movement and switch off if need be

No, I am not saying that at all. I am still working through my connections.
Are you interested in flipping yoyo, and if so, why?
