Re: M 1029: The webMafia Olympics game 1 SPY VS SPY
thinking about it more, yoyo could have also taken the bozo bait, and the no kill trip he has been on is a way of hiding as an og spy. Idk how I feel about it because I could see it being dogged towny behavior too. idk, i just dislike the no kill. Id rather be killed than see a no kill happen. no kill strategy just feels like I am playing a game of munchkin that goes on too long and you're waiting around for someone to win not because they deserve it but because someone will eventually be done with the game and throw it out of boredom. Munchkin isnt always that way, but I only play it like once a year for a reason, that shit irks me when im invested in a game

I reread most of Haze, I am confident he has not actually read even one of my posts in the entire thread, maybe one of the memes but not two sentences I've written back to back, and especially not the one he quoted from me. When a post ends with *sips from whiskey and delusions of grandeur* you dont get to come in and say, woah this guy overgeneralized a bit and be hailed as saying something work donkey doo. In the 2nd quote from me, I am just completely right on every statement and I am being specific, insert: *why y'all booing me when I'm right* Hannibal memeHaze with a Z wrote: ↑Fri Jul 26, 2024 4:21 amFirst of all I thought you were a no kill person tbh. Second of all I don’t believE my stance has changed on the idea that we should be killing so this whole statement feels like an overgeneralisation.SpiritoftheRadio wrote: ↑Thu Jul 25, 2024 4:26 amhard nope, you switched off no kill after advocating no kill all day, so did HB when he didn't need to. Bozo didn't fuck with the tie no kill when he wanted the kill to happen and was gunna let no kill happen. Just nope, you have the best excuse for being inconsistent because you were trying to save your skin, but nope. nope nope nope. folks are not being consistent. this is mafia, i am being ridiculous to expect this, but that is my frustration is all.
Bozo also has seemed scummier on day 1 than I remember, I forgot about the whole letting the tie play out bullshit he pulled at EoD.
I am feeling like going back to colby since I think he is the one that chose bozo and haze is probably just disengaged town. I didnt go back and reread the brainbomb hit piece on him, but that is for tomorrow. I think bozo is a good kill no matter what though, I have reexamined and feel like he could be an OG spy now, although probably still 60% turned and 40% og spy.

I can guarantee that this game is going to be irksome for many of us.SpiritoftheRadio wrote: ↑Fri Jul 26, 2024 8:01 amthinking about it more, yoyo could have also taken the bozo bait, and the no kill trip he has been on is a way of hiding as an og spy. Would be a pretty bold strategy of me to have recruited bozo if that is who my vote is currently for but sure.SpiritoftheRadio wrote: ↑Fri Jul 26, 2024 7:40 amBozo, your main reason for targeting me is bona made a mile per minute comment about me, then you theorized I picked bona as a recruit. I gotta say honestly, he would have been the absolute last on my list. He both lacks the capacity to stay alive reliably (I should know, i got him killed day 1 last time I was scum), strategize effectively, and I try to be cordial with folks but I'd rather skewer my left nut with a martini umbrella than invite someone with a posting style like bona's into a private mafia chat. Literally everyone would have had more perks to me than him.
You were the person I thought would be most likely picked since you were the most widely town read day 1 and also aren't an idiot. I said that when HB asked who I'd pick, and I pointed out how you wouldn't die until a nk happened, thinking I could bait someone who likes to play safe into picking you. I was wondering what you'd do when you finally showed up, and i gotta say I do think you're mafia. Your case against me is thin as they come, and you ended on me after stressing the importance of not making any errors going forward. No sense is being made there. You also paired brain and ghug together. BB is one of the more towny people around imo and you're kind of just taking ghug and bona chaos posting to smear someone you think is easy to hit. You know HB is peculiar in his ways and likely isn't coming off me, and so you're pushing me since you think it can happen and you really don't care who we kill so long as it isn't your teammate or you. Thats the vibe I'm getting off you, and it is strong. I don't know if you're the OG spy, but you're definitely not on the up and up.
##vote bozo
My pressure vote on colby wasn't doing crap anyway because everyone is voting for someone different. I dont like the yoyo no kill, I dont like the way ghug is being a dirtbag. Bona and HB are being themselves but they dont spark joy. Haze is real defensive and I kind of feel he hasn't learned to just let heat wash over him yet. Colby still seems off to me, not really seeming genuine at all, and I think he would pick bozo. I could also see haze doing it.
I am pretty fine killing bozo, ghug, colby, haze or maybe Hb. In that order of how scummy I feel they are. Bozo and ghug seem the most notably different today and are the most likely to be turned since they clearly don't give a fuck. I am going to sleep on it. I like killing either of them but I am of the opinion it is more likely they are turned and not OG spies atm.
Re: M 1029: The webMafia Olympics game 1 SPY VS SPY
I just don’t understand the no-kill today from yoyo at all. If the math didn’t work for it yesterday it just doesn't hold up for today. I’m also not in love with the way that ghug has chance from D1 to D2, while on vacation, just seems to not have strong stances and I think there is a strong chance they got recruited. Feeling at this point my vote is likely to change to one of them just need to see more

As IRL the Olympic Torch is carried through Paris, all eyes are focused on the Big Event. During Cold War Olympic years, aware Intelligence Agencies used that knowledge to perform some of the more riskier spy activities.
In 1976, for instance, CIA agents, while the torch was being watched by All Eyes, rifled the rooms of athletes from Guyana and Swaziland, attempting to determine whether the impending African Boycott was motivated by Communist activity.

Why am I getting the feeling the Brain Haze exchange was an overt attempt at distancing?

The end vote from bozo is an interesting choice. Is bozo mafia trying to speed the game along for optimal mafia progress?

SpiritoftheRadio (2) Hamilton Brian, bozotheclown (endvote)
No-Kill (1) Yoyoyozo

Hamilton Biran (1) ghug
Bozo is leading
All have voted. All posting minimums have been satisfied.
The Cold War Olympics, for Intelligence Agencies as well as for Academic College progams, wer all hands on deck. No vacation time was allowed. No days off were allowed. The few CIA agents who suggested they bring their families to Olympic Cities were denied. Although at times FAKE families were created, made up of other Agents. Children were problematic in these situations.

Hamilton and I are the most obvious town in the game, which reinforces my suspicion that you were recruited.

Coincidentally I came back to see the 2 players I had as the original mafia in my theory have now voted for me. Another player I flagged as potentially mafia has pushed my wagon, while not voting for me, which is even more suspicious.

DKing a recruited mafia is essentially a guaranteed loss for town.SpiritoftheRadio wrote: ↑Fri Jul 26, 2024 7:40 amBozo, your main reason for targeting me is bona made a mile per minute comment about me, then you theorized I picked bona as a recruit.
