When you play that game of Build a Pair, or maybe we could call it Grow a Pair, how are you developing it? Would you negate a Damo-Sweet pair simply based on the defense of sweet?BunnyGo wrote: ↑Wed Jul 03, 2024 3:49 pmI would wager large against that being the exact team. Quite large, at terrible odds.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Wed Jul 03, 2024 3:25 pmBalki / Eden / Sweet / Damo ?brainbomb wrote: ↑Wed Jul 03, 2024 3:23 pmSo much pressure to perform well when you have a good role. You are pretty cool under such a weight when its actually on you.
The same is true as being scum. Every scum team I was on won in spite of my terrible play. Or lost due to it. Sorry Jamie especially.
That said, its such a boring thing to talk about.
Id rather hear people talk about spicy team combos like a balki-eden scumteam with some miscreants in there too.
I don't see Damo-Sweet as a pair. Would wager large against that pair alone.
I can see Balki-Eden as a pair. I can see Eden-Damo. I can see Eden-Sweet.

I don't know about that. I think it's within Damo's scum meta.
I also think Bunny is one of my strongest townreads.

I would agree with the sentiment on KTOP.President Eden wrote: ↑Wed Jul 03, 2024 3:55 pmI might end up sheeping the foodcoats wagon despite misgivings about how easily it went up. I feel very good about half the current voters being town and feel at least okay about damo too.
My hesitation is that it still seemed too easy. KOTP is the best vote for mafia on that wagon rn IMO.

That's kind of funny. What about the other half? Why is KOTP your best vote? Maybe that's where Sweet should aim that revolver.President Eden wrote: ↑Wed Jul 03, 2024 3:55 pmI might end up sheeping the foodcoats wagon despite misgivings about how easily it went up. Yes, and then someone will inevitably launch into a "You manufactured that; you're scum!" troll. From my experience in these games, it doesn't really fly on D1.FlaviusAetius wrote: ↑Wed Jul 03, 2024 4:01 pmDoing naked lists is NOT a smart idea, it doesnt tell us really anything other than vibe checks atm...you could at least give reasonings on some

I will be on a train or just exiting around EOD. If I am on the train, great. If not, I will probably not be online often.
And I know I need to establish and honest vote in a little bit.

What pinged you to realize that worcej is town?

Re: M 90: Shootout at Hamilton Brian's Summer Garden Party
No sense of urgency to change it to a real vote as of now. I will want to finish catching up and check the vote count before committing.
Is there something about it that's bothering you? That's at least the second time you've mentioned it. That doesn't make me feel very good about my contributions if that's the only thing you see fit to comment on.

That would be hilarious. Too bad it is impossible. I swear that reads list will be coming. About 75% done, sadly am busy again. Think it will be done with about two hours to spare.BunnyGo wrote: ↑Wed Jul 03, 2024 5:27 pmI would laugh so hard if the desperado just shot you right now.

The LNER has returned me to Durham safely and I must now go offline to do other things for at least two hours.

Re: M 90: Shootout at the Pretty Good Corral
I generally don't buy into D1 wagon counterdynamics much since mafia will probably know a big wagon like this early on will likely collapse on its own... I wouldn't be stressing yet if I were mafia!food.President Eden wrote: ↑Wed Jul 03, 2024 4:09 pmIt seems like a fine D1 shot on the merits. That’s why I’m not arguing very strongly against it. (That, and it seems obviously town-driven.) I just think some of the “meta”/“analytics” of it (not sure what to call it… it’s like pre-VCA lol, things like the ease with which it took off, the lack of vocal opposition, the lack of coherent counterwagon, etc.) look sketchy is all.Chaqa wrote: ↑Wed Jul 03, 2024 4:03 pmI would read my big notes post. If you reread him he barely has contributed anything original or novel - he's only talking about out of game or tangentially game related things, or chiming in on established talking points.President Eden wrote: ↑Wed Jul 03, 2024 2:58 pm
I don’t think this is as indicative as you seem to think it is. But it’s an issue that should sort itself out in short order anyway.
——
I don’t really mind the foodcoats wagon, but it being this strong and uncontested this early is pretty interesting. I think the core pushers (Flavius, Chaqa) are probable town. If it’s right, great. If it’s wrong, the quieter votes piling on are >rand scum IMO.

Id say he's more likely to be town here. He's back to not really caring how hes perceived.

Re: M 90: Shootout at the Pretty Good Corral
There's certainly not a large body of work to get a sense of Worcej one way or another. I don't think I'll join a flash on him, which will probably implode in 15 minutes.
