Jumpin' Jehosaphat! What in tarnation happened in here last night?

Tables and chairs all upended in the saloon. Ladies' unmentionables hanging on the rafters!

And Food is getting ready to be strung up over at the hangin' tree.

Out of game: Great show last night; catching N2 tonight.

Hello, Brian.

I would be interested if you could take some time to examine Damo's defence of Sweetandcool.

I'll say that I think Sweet is probably town but is employing this weird strategy and I am unclear what the end goal is. I concur that we'll have to flip him a lot sooner unless we get some lucky scum slips from others before then.

Guts suggest to me that town include: Jamie, damo, chaqa, bunny, brain, balki, and I teeter on flavius.

That's me working to find my town before trying to sus out mafia. And I'll probably sheep chaqa.

I have twice the post count of anyone else.

Up yours, woke moralists!
Look at the three lowest posters. If there's not scum in there I'll consume mon chapeau.
I wonder if the desperado has shot anyone yet. almost 20 hours since several of the lowest posters have posted (demon, worcej, dip&war)...
We would know.

Yeah. Odd musings from the Pirate King there. It's a Desperado not a Desperate Janitor. If someone is shot, the GM will announce their death in the thread.

A game like that would need multiple coroner-type roles to avoid being horribly scumsided.

Worry not, I am already working on a setup you will hate and don't plan to change ideas now.

I am in the middle of a massive catchup but I'll try to focus on that as I read.
So on the surface I agree with damo about sweet. "It would be bad play as a vt (as you might turn lawman), crazy play as sheriff, too attention seeking as mafia which leaves a desperate desperado maybe." And does this ring true? VTs don't know if they are a certain role (as that is kind of what damo's defense rests on)?

If sweet is lying he will be caught eventually.

What I am interested in is how damo came to land on food? I didn't find much of an argument for it, unless at the time food was one of the sweet voters, who damo suggests they'll attempt to wagon to pressure them.

@damo?

I think I caught him already. He speculated about not knowing whether the Desperado can fire at night. That means he hasn't read the Desperado role PM.

ah, I see. I read the role as a case of 'removal', meaning they would simply disappear (no posting,etc.). my bad!

?? my god dude if you dont shoot someone D1 you HAVE to die D2 this is EXACTLY what I was talking about theres no way you are seriously waiting for the NIGHT to start shooting??? Ive been your BIGGEST defender so far but that doesnt mean you get the leeway to just makeyourself seem even MORE scummy!!

IF you are Desperado DO NOT wait until the night to shoot DO NOT wait until the EOD to shoot. You are causing CHAOS for NO reason
Huh? I meant IRL night. Can I even shoot at night? I would have never considered that.
The Desperado can only shoot during the day. It's very clear on Page 1 of this thread.

If you were the Desperado, your PM would provide you with this information and you would obviously be very much aware of it.

So now I think you are lying about being the Desperado.

##Vote Sweet.
sweetandcool: Knows they cannot shoot at night, so is confused by Flavius.

Jamiet: Ah-ha! You must be lying because you talked about thinking at (IRL) night!

So sweet is doing the equivalent of townslipping for not being Desperado? "not-Desperado slipping"? Sounds fake.
Anyways, I'm going to stay on sweet for now. I'm not completely up to date on the thread, but sweet is more scummy than food from what I've read.

I don’t think this is as indicative as you seem to think it is. But it’s an issue that should sort itself out in short order anyway.

——

I don’t really mind the foodcoats wagon, but it being this strong and uncontested this early is pretty interesting. I think the core pushers (Flavius, Chaqa) are probable town. If it’s right, great. If it’s wrong, the quieter votes piling on are >rand scum IMO.

Im not completely convinced I should disregard the brainbomb slot entirely, but his little joyfull moments at my expense are probably more likely to come from town.

Bunny/Worcej/Foodcoats/HB are all people I want to vote.

I wonder if scum vecna just knows hb and food are easy people to scumread
I soul townread foodcoats on d1 last game, and stuck with it all game. The rest of the game was scumreading him basically.

Here he just does not have that awesome sauce. He's something else. A source if you will.
