The town will be voting them off.
Why shoot them?
Two things might happen:
1) town was wrong, you die, yay?
2) town was right, you kill them, now town scrambles for another kill?
Don't focus on yourself! This is a team game and the power is only useful as it supports town winning.

I think I like Chaqa too. We have two in common (brain, Chaqa)President Eden wrote: ↑Wed Jul 03, 2024 3:45 amso far I like brain, Bunny, Chaqa, Jamie, sweetandcool for town.

I feel like I should like Flavius for town too, but he seems so over the top. It doesn’t feel real. But that would probably be NAI (he can do a bit as either alignment). not sure what to do with him yet
I am surprised you like Jamiet, though I am feeling more comfortable with his effort-level and prob-y-ness after his first couple of hours in the game. Still think he has a higher chance than a random pick of flipping scum here.
With Flava Flav, I was thrown by the all caps usage in the first game I played with him. I think I was just reading that as over the top in a way he didn’t mean it. Now having that prior game as context, this game feels much more organic and sincere. Unfiltered. Town!Flav.

i’ll be honest i’m just using the heuristic that jamie wouldn’t be lapping the field in post count as scum. i know that’s kind of lame reasoning but it’s usually >rand town. plus he’s been a persistent wagon.
i think i like your vibes too

1.
Foodcoat said sweet is going to be claiming a role because he thinks its optimal play and he KNEW about this head of time. Instead of EXPLAINING to sweet why it would be wrong he chose to do it here. Fine whatever.
2.
He says we should NOT be voting for sweet...why? Because he legit claimed a town role how can we vote for someone like that when its so easy to verify?
YET
He then goes onto sweet; WHY? Never explained
3.
During the whole Jamie thing do you know what food did? He votes DAMO. To "diffuse the tensions" like? Jamie gets mad early game when people go on him for being mad, it always happens and the wagon ALWAYS dies. Do you know what that whole thing DOES tell us though? INFORMATION. foodcoats is trying to diffuse the tensions for no reason...
4.
And you know what else about that damo vote I just went back and look at this; he INITIALLY said that we should be going after lurkers D1, then flipped when I pressed on him again to say it was just one big joke.
He is flipflopping nad I dont like it not one bit I want explanations and now.
SWEET you should NOT go for foodcoats unless its SOON. Go for someone ELSE you think is mafia or better yet wait until D2.
IF you are Desperado that is, if you think the game is up and you are going to die N1 then start shooting man dont wait until EOD.

You are such a troll.
Deep, deep disappointment.
But yeah, so long as players are engaged and actually using their noggins, rather than checking out and just making votes due to tradition, then I generally am comfortable sheeping.
Some of "my" best work has come from sheeping.

Huh? I meant IRL night. Can I even shoot at night? I would have never considered that.FlaviusAetius wrote: ↑Wed Jul 03, 2024 3:53 am?? my god dude if you dont shoot someone D1 you HAVE to die D2 this is EXACTLY what I was talking about theres no way you are seriously waiting for the NIGHT to start shooting??? Ive been your BIGGEST defender so far but that doesnt mean you get the leeway to just makeyourself seem even MORE scummy!!sweetandcool wrote: ↑Wed Jul 03, 2024 2:46 amIt's going to be a fun night deciding who to shoot.
But if I end up not being able to satisfactorily make up my mind, which is possible due to exhaustion, I will just shoot the top wagon at about 30 minutes before EoD.
IF you are Desperado DO NOT wait until the night to shoot DO NOT wait until the EOD to shoot. You are causing CHAOS for NO reason

I was reviewing M89, and there is a notable difference in DiplomacyandWarfare's D1 activity level compared to this game. This game reminds me of M88 when DiplomacyandWarfare subbed in as mafia. Maybe he simply does not care for playing as mafia.

I think the reason for this vote has the potential to be fabricated.

worcej, Balki, and Vecna leaving their vote on Jamie so long is interesting, although I think Vecna has only posted in a small block of time. I could see one of them doing this as a bus.

Balki starting to hedge his read of Jamie while still voting him could be an effort to get someone else to move off his wagon first.Balki Bartokomous wrote: ↑Wed Jul 03, 2024 3:59 amI think I like Chaqa too. I townread Sweet and am willing to buy his Desperado claim.
Why is he a main wagon?
Why am I a fucking main wagon other than for shit reasons like Deputy Ghug thinking I'm somehow vaguely "fake"?
There's some bullshit going down here.
An interesting question. I bet at least one scum has voted for me today.
