It's going to be a fun night deciding who to shoot.

But if I end up not being able to satisfactorily make up my mind, which is possible due to exhaustion, I will just shoot the top wagon at about 30 minutes before EoD.
why? town will possibly be flipping them anyways...
I respect Town's ability to vote scum. So shooting top wagon will most likely give me another shot.
This is objectively terrible strategy. The desperado should not do this under any circumstances.

The town will be voting them off.

Why shoot them?

Two things might happen:

1) town was wrong, you die, yay?
2) town was right, you kill them, now town scrambles for another kill?

Don't focus on yourself! This is a team game and the power is only useful as it supports town winning.

Okay but what if I don't have time to properly assess the players? I think I would rather shoot top wagon in that case.

You think I should shoot the main counterwagon?

gunmen should shoot those the town isn't going to get for themselves. While only hitting scum...don't miss, we lose fast if you miss.

Believe it or not it is possible to scumread people without smattering ones vote all over the thread. When I am ready to vote I will.
Votes tell us stuff about people I dont like the people who throw votes out willy nilly like their candy but I ALSO dont like people who DONT vote at ALL.

I answered
You did.

Both you and Balki appear to be arguing that Sweet is really, really stupid town.
Not stupid. He’s a smart person. But he’s a shitty team player. And it’s really pushing my buttons.

And he’s specifically doing it to try and prove he’s smart, because he thinks Nash equilibrium are a winning play.
Just looked up Nash Equilibrium and it has no relation to mafia at all this is a cooperative game where the town has to work together AGAINST the mafia, so since every town has the SAME GOAL there is no personal benefit here only GROUP benefit

As much as id love to kill the entire scumteam day 1 and make webdip history for the first ever town sweep - it aint realistic to imagine.
I think the Desperado shooting Foodcoats would complete 25% of that.
Then why move your vote off of him, YOU are the one who could make him a leading wagon he and Jamie have both done a bunch of sus stuff with sweet, and now you are JOINING them

It depends on the overall level of activity in any given game.

Lurking is not just low posting, it's low posting whilst also seeming to have an eye on the game.

As to question 2:
Worcej, Lfischl, maybe Eden.
So you think chaqa is telling the truth about why hes unable to play much? I know he recently has had storm damage but most phones nowadays function without a wifi connection by just using cellular data.

Chaqa lurking is quite normal even without a chaotic situation.

Right?
I don't really like playing from my phone is the problem. I get distracted with other things and forget to read. And it's also really hard for me to type in general and doubly so right now as I have a broken screen.

I'm trying to get through to September for the newest iphone.

Also I've just had a hell of a month in general so I'm ramping up. I have a doozy when I'm done here in an hour or two I think.
Phone play is def not the move its so HARD, maybe if I had an iPad

I'm Desperado and already want to say Sayonara to the game. Why would I play today any other way, when my job is to shoot until I die?
IF you really are Desperado MAYBE just MAYBE revealing it D1 was NOT the move, dont you think just think a LITTLE BIT that you would have MORE information D2?

Flavius on the defense of lurkers

Town

http://mafia.peterlund.se/e/web/msgs?user=FlaviusAetius&word=Lurker&g=50

Scum
http://mafia.peterlund.se/e/web/msgs?user=FlaviusAetius&word=Lurker&g=46

Flavius was very animated about lurkers being bad pushes as mafia
He also was animated about sparing lurkers in m89 where he told me post game he wanted to scumside to get recruited

Just a thought
WRONG. I even mentioned in the discord that we gotta go for lurkers this time around and EARLY. Going after lurkers D1 though? Now THAT is nonsense D1 is where you learn information, not by going after someone who wont even respond.
Going after lurkers is GOOD, but doing it probably on the most important day ever is a cop out
What Discord?
Either in the graveyard chat OR the heaven chat I forget which one but I did definetly mention it

Okay guys, I feel absolutely horrible.

I was fake claiming Investigative Sheriff.

I am actually Desperado and am planning to shoot near EoD, about a half hour before deadline.

I will shoot the top wagon unless it is somehow me.

I was just claiming because I knew I would shoot today until I died.
Aw man I had been townreading you so hard.

Why you ruin it.
Even IF you think sweet is lying here it doesnt make sense to nix him D1, it makes sense to do that D2 we can figure out if he is telling the truth or not D2 NOT D1, its so EASY to figure it out I dont get why people dont understand this

so far I like brain, Bunny, Chaqa, Jamie, sweetandcool for town.
…maybe foodcoats too?
I feel like I should like Flavius for town too, but he seems so over the top. It doesn’t feel real. But that would probably be NAI (he can do a bit as either alignment). not sure what to do with him yet

?? my god dude if you dont shoot someone D1 you HAVE to die D2 this is EXACTLY what I was talking about theres no way you are seriously waiting for the NIGHT to start shooting??? Ive been your BIGGEST defender so far but that doesnt mean you get the leeway to just makeyourself seem even MORE scummy!!

IF you are Desperado DO NOT wait until the night to shoot DO NOT wait until the EOD to shoot. You are causing CHAOS for NO reason
