##Call GM

If, say, four people vote "No Kill" at EoD, will you modkill all four of them?
Yes. (and their dog, too!)
There.

The matter is resolved.

Nobody should be voting No Kill.
Maybe sweet will now…

Jamie,
When you think of lurkers and low participation; below what post total do you consider someone to be scummy?

If I were to vote a lurker here who do you most suspect is mafia?
It depends on the overall level of activity in any given game.

Lurking is not just low posting, it's low posting whilst also seeming to have an eye on the game.

As to question 2:
Worcej, Lfischl, maybe Eden.
So you think chaqa is telling the truth about why hes unable to play much? I know he recently has had storm damage but most phones nowadays function without a wifi connection by just using cellular data.

Chaqa lurking is quite normal even without a chaotic situation.

Right?
I don't really like playing from my phone is the problem. I get distracted with other things and forget to read. And it's also really hard for me to type in general and doubly so right now as I have a broken screen.

I'm trying to get through to September for the newest iphone.

Also I've just had a hell of a month in general so I'm ramping up. I have a doozy when I'm done here in an hour or two I think.

I was thinking the same thing about Bona, very strange so far.

Hmmm, interesting thought about rdr.

How are you Towning Bunny? I feel like their reaction to me was them trying to be authentically Bunny. Rather than actually authentically being Bunny.
Two new parents screw this up.

I don’t think it’s towny to get this wrong. But maybe…? If they’re just posting gut feels without stopping to consider? Maybe it’s towny.
*raises hand*

I also had notes about Bona being off before I got to the part where someone corrected and said he was the GM
No…you can’t get credit for this.

What an incredibly kind and reasonable gesture to offer someone.

Would you also leave me til tomorrow if a tree falls on my house kind lad?
Toppling a tree onto your house on purpose, to avoid being voted for, is exactly the kind of ploy I'd expect from you.
I did it before the game started in case I rolled mafia and needed a reason to lurk, clearly.

Just a moment.

ALL of this is going on, and somehow Sweet and myself are still the top two wagons???

I townread Sweet and am willing to buy his Desperado claim.

Why is he a main wagon?

Why am I a fucking main wagon other than for shit reasons like Deputy Ghug thinking I'm somehow vaguely "fake"?

There's some bullshit going down here.
Do you think scum is driving this bullshit or mistaken and frustrated town while scum sit back and enjoy?
Jamie YOU are the one who helped CREATE the sweet wagon dont act so surprised that its still viable, right now I think my top candidates of people still ON the sweet wagon are bunny and food

PE and Vecna are the only players who have not received any votes yet, they are probably both mafia. Although Hamilton's only vote came from himself.

##vote Bunny

This makes no sense and it looks like you just want to park a vote again.

Despite Brainbomb's outhouse crisis, I am actually somewhat suspicious of him quite aggressively demanding to know why people weren't voting for Chaqa.... while not casting a vote for Chaqa himself, even when I encouraged him to do so.
This whole thing is a nothing burger.

Okay well there were no survivors. Just an inflatable man.

So this seems to be tilting sideways quite fast. Never was I desperate or striving for a chaqa wagon. never was I hot in the biscuit to claim chaqa was scum. a dialogue about lurkers and which lurkers we find dangerous was a goal. I also wanted to challenge the excuses being levied for why some lurkers were problematic and we got that dialogue.

My vote is my sword and I have a plan for how I use it. But votes can be used against you later so im just taking my time with it. Voting a lurker only to move elsewhere is meaningless and rarely prompts a person to just post. Talking about a person accomplishes the same thing.

Voting a lurker and staying on that lurker when people are arguing on that lurkers behalf is anti town and serves no purpose either.

Telling me im allowed to vote chaqa is quite ignorant. I would much prefer a dialogue about chaqas scum meta as a lurker, or chaqas typical return to thread habits. Why hes deserving of a day 2 life; sans having storm damage and a new baby at home.

I was hoping Jamie felt chaqa plays better day 2. Or eden had some ideas on how chaqa tends to improve over time as town and I didnt see anyone implying such notions.
Welcome back. I'm glad your inflatable man is okay.

Chaqa has a tendency to do fuck all of nothing on D1, as any alignment, does he not?
It really just depends on if D1 grabs my fancy or not. This one has.

@brain a lot more happened than I let on in the Discord or game, but Eden knows some of that, so I think he is just trying to point out that I've had a hell of a month. It's been really rough and I think I have twice as many gray hairs as I did a month ago.

Now if you want a small towncore of only people you trust and youd like to keep it simple: not reach; not try to dig deep: that is also okay. Cast a small net of trustees but if you do truly townread me then my logic must be doing something for you. So go see what im talking about if you want too.
It's early yet. But I'm more of a Null until proven otherwise sort of guy. This game is hard.

I answered
You did.

Both you and Balki appear to be arguing that Sweet is really, really stupid town.
Not stupid. He’s a smart person. But he’s a shitty team player. And it’s really pushing my buttons.

And he’s specifically doing it to try and prove he’s smart, because he thinks Nash equilibrium are a winning play.
I'm Desperado and already want to say Sayonara to the game. Why would I play today any other way, when my job is to shoot until I die?

Flavius on the defense of lurkers

Town

http://mafia.peterlund.se/e/web/msgs?user=FlaviusAetius&word=Lurker&g=50

Scum
http://mafia.peterlund.se/e/web/msgs?user=FlaviusAetius&word=Lurker&g=46

Flavius was very animated about lurkers being bad pushes as mafia
He also was animated about sparing lurkers in m89 where he told me post game he wanted to scumside to get recruited

Just a thought
WRONG. I even mentioned in the discord that we gotta go for lurkers this time around and EARLY. Going after lurkers D1 though? Now THAT is nonsense D1 is where you learn information, not by going after someone who wont even respond.
Going after lurkers is GOOD, but doing it probably on the most important day ever is a cop out
What Discord?

Idk at least from my POV it just doesn't make any sense. town have 2 PRs currently, as the lawmen's shots aren't available yet, I just don't understand how it's beneficial for desperado to claim D1. IF you are the desperado, it's more than likely you miss anyways, why would you not wait until you are more sure on someone.
I think you might understand more if you looked at my D1 rate. Might as well claim rather than dealing with the stress of being top two D1 candidate.
Considering there had been meta discussion to give you/damo/HB some slack…why would you still do this?
Hey cut me some slack, it's just how I am.
