Light his ass up!!!sweetandcool wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2024 7:18 pmOkay guys, I feel absolutely horrible.
I was fake claiming Investigative Sheriff.
I am actually Desperado and am planning to shoot near EoD, about a half hour before deadline.
I will shoot the top wagon unless it is somehow me.
I was just claiming because I knew I would shoot today until I died.

Why not stay quiet about your role and just wait until you have a shot lined up?

Do you not think that if *this* is a lie, the actual Desperado would do precisely that?President Eden wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2024 7:24 pmLight his ass up!!!sweetandcool wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2024 7:18 pmOkay guys, I feel absolutely horrible.

This is tragic, if this is true I really hope you hit scum. Other than investigative sheriff this is the only other gaurenteed Town PR correct?sweetandcool wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2024 7:18 pmOkay guys, I feel absolutely horrible.

I understand the principle, but I made the post a few hours into the game when some people were getting upset. I wanted to provide some positive vibes. I would have a different approach at later times or later days.FlaviusAetius wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2024 6:00 pmWell I dont like that you did a joke vote here we are supposed to be playing serious, serious things are happening you should involve yourself instead of trying to diffuse the tensions. The ONE thing sweet did that was good was get us right into the game real quick, and start having REAL conversations. He did in the WORSE way possible and makes him super sus but you trying to draw us away from that conversation is a big mistakefoodcoats wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2024 12:57 pmI agree. This was a joke vote. I wanted to defuse the tension in the room and continue to harass damo for that time he beed me.FlaviusAetius wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2024 8:03 am
Hey I made it pretty well known that Im going for the lurkers in the future but D1 is not the day to do it thats the most useless thing you could ever do we have 48 hours to really TALK and vote people. Voting for our favorite lurker tells us NOTHING

So I have many pages to catch up on; just to send to check in and see the latest state of the game. I am currently on a train eastbound to Toronto to see Wilco at Massey Hall, and I am in my cups. As I was walking to the train, I was speculating to myself, is sweet trying to instigate a vigilante shot against themselves and if so, why?
But then the retraction…

Re: M 90: Shootout at the Pretty Good Corral
This is just such a bad policy to hold though dont we want to ENCOURAGE people to talk more? Suspecting someone for talking MORE is a big NO. Instead look at what they say, and make a judgement off of that.brainbomb wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2024 1:41 pmThe reason for scumreading someone for more active than usual is a interesting take. Dip got it right last game on balki when no one else was buying it. I have bunny as town; but ill be curious how this goes.kingofthepirates wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2024 1:39 pm*smash bro's intro*DiplomacyandWarfare wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2024 1:36 pmHi! ##VOTE BUNNYGO
Everyone is here!
Re: M 90: Shootout at the Pretty Good Corral
Agreed. Hamilton is not outside his town range here. I have no particularly strong opinion on his alignment.BunnyGo wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2024 6:20 pmThis is why we’ve been voting him off day 1 a lot. But we need to do better as a community to meet him where he is.FlaviusAetius wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2024 5:45 pmWell thats just silly and sounds like something someone would do if they didnt actually want to talk about anything significant
Re: M 90: Shootout at the Pretty Good Corral
Vecna also usually reads foodcoats correctly, catching him as scum in m53. Food is another player vecna talks about as town every game.
M48 vecna accurately townreads foodcoats day 1
M66 vecna accurately townreads foodcoats day 1
M67 scum vecna doesnt mention food day 1 later says:
M87 scum vecna doesnt mention foodcoats - day 2 says
This seems to fit well within vecna desired early reads. He thinks he doesnt do it but he certainly has a penchant for accuracy.
All this research combined with my hamilton reasearch still give me a few tingly doubts mostly because I find food and hamilton town here. But vecna when he townreads food is very spot on. When he scumreads food its more in vecnas scum game to avoid any read at all than it is to come out swinging for food

M86 accurately townreads foodcoats day 1he's one of those players where im usually one of the few people townreading him.
M87 scum vecna doesnt mention foodcoats - day 2 says
M88 Scum Vecna scumreads foodcoats day 1also im quite sure foodcoats this game is like a boeing
something something nuts, bolts, loose screws
M89 town vecna accurately reads foodcoats day 1
It feels like its very smooth, and not as messy as I like to think I remember foodcoats being.
think this is the first game ever im liking foodcoats on d1.
maybe im just forgetting. I like foodcoats.

Im open to the idea of bunny being scum. Its a poor starting point but dip seems to have thought it held some legitimacy. I dont see how this is currently a problem.FlaviusAetius wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2024 7:39 pmThis is just such a bad policy to hold though dont we want to ENCOURAGE people to talk more? No, sweet announced that all posts will be randomized on whether they are truthful or not no matter his alignment.worcej wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2024 6:58 pmDid we catch sweet actively lying here?sweetandcool wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2024 6:57 pmWhy does Chaqa always get called a lurker? He's just as likely to post "I am scum" as VT or PR or scum.
Nothing matters!

No regrets.
You took a risk that the real Sheriff might have cc'ed you, but since that has not materialised, fair play, you did get some reactions.
I want to ask again: When you voted for "Bona", did you realise this would be counted by the Bot as a vote for Bozo? Did you purposely cast that vote in order to move off me? If yes, why did you then repeatedly claim your vote was still on me, when it wasn't? If no, what were you doing?
I believe your Desperado claim, I just want to understand your thought processes.

Re: M 90: Shootout at the Pretty Good Corral
I think, correct me if I’m wrong, that we should put an absolute halt to any PR questions right now. It’s too early, I can’t see how Sweet thinks this is optimal, so I am trying to wrap my head around it.
As of now my two too “I think they’re town” are Jamie and Brain. And Brain isn’t because he towns me. I would have thought so regardless.
