I think he does it as town and weaponizes it as scum.brainbomb wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2024 5:39 pmOkay well there were no survivors. Just an inflatable man.
So this seems to be tilting sideways quite fast. Never was I desperate or striving for a chaqa wagon. never was I hot in the biscuit to claim chaqa was scum. a dialogue about lurkers and which lurkers we find dangerous was a goal. I also wanted to challenge the excuses being levied for why some lurkers were problematic and we got that dialogue.
My vote is my sword and I have a plan for how I use it. But votes can be used against you later so im just taking my time with it. Voting a lurker only to move elsewhere is meaningless and rarely prompts a person to just post. Talking about a person accomplishes the same thing.
Voting a lurker and staying on that lurker when people are arguing on that lurkers behalf is anti town and serves no purpose either.
Telling me im allowed to vote chaqa is quite ignorant. I would much prefer a dialogue about chaqas scum meta as a lurker, or chaqas typical return to thread habits. Why hes deserving of a day 2 life; sans having storm damage and a new baby at home.
I was hoping Jamie felt chaqa plays better day 2. Or eden had some ideas on how chaqa tends to improve over time as town and I didnt see anyone implying such notions.

Did you mistake Bona for someone else or did you seriously JUST think Bona was scum because he summarized the votes?

Chaqa generally feels about as active as damo in most games. Which I would not consider lurking, just fairly low posting.

I'm doing well, thank you. About to sit down to dinner. I might even head out for a short little run as the sun sets this evening. All is well.

I think we should all vote no-kill and see what happens.
THEN whoever voted no kill that turned it away from a actual kill will be the one who gets killed by the GMs
So if there was 3 votes on X and 2 votes on NO KILL, whoever votes no kill NEXT is the one who'll be killed even if everyone else end sup voting no kill, AKA dont do it and its not a smart idea anyways

Docks are a pain. I used to live on a lake and dock management (namely trying to keep it from being destroyed by ice in the winter) was my personal bane. I was also allergic to the lake: I would sneeze uncontrollably for hours after swimming if I didn't take a shower (well water). Swimmer's itch does not sound fun. Hope it clears up.brainbomb wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2024 5:51 amFoodcoats
My vacation is going well until 2 days ago where I had to do some work on a dock that fell apart in a storm. i was wading in the water and have developed a skin issue on my legs. it is a pretty horrendous form of swimmers itch which has covered me in what look like chicken pox. i am itchy all day and it is awful. It is hard to concentrate and ive been pretty snappy and irritable as a result. Trying to treat it with anti itch spray and about six showers a day right now. Its horrible, and no one would enjoy this feeling.

Okay guys, I feel absolutely horrible.
I was fake claiming Investigative Sheriff.
I am actually Desperado and am planning to shoot near EoD, about a half hour before deadline.
I will shoot the top wagon unless it is somehow me.
I was just claiming because I knew I would shoot today until I died.

Remember that Bunny and Jamiet are scum.
Now, let's focus on weeding out the "anti-town" players.
Lurkers, fake claimers, PR hunters, and Mafia. Anybody I missed?
I think we should start with Mafia. I think it's too early to designate anyone as lurking. Jamiet is our only PR hunter so far.

This is more plausible because if this was a lie, the real Desperado would shoot you in the face.sweetandcool wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2024 7:18 pmOkay guys, I feel absolutely horrible.

Re: M 90: Shootout at the Pretty Good Corral
Vecna as town in m86
On further review HB is always one of Vecnas earliest reads as town. This appears to stem from a game where scum Hamilton fooled him.
M75
M69
Conclusion: Vecna does this as town every time he comes across Hamilton. I think this fits with his statement of wating to wagon Hamilton. Thus I think Vecna has meta on his side; and is in his towngame here.
I think scum is in [chaqa, jamiet, damo, HB] - sweet is still hard to read for me
M83 vecna as town on HBAs for the HB stuff; none of the things he has done is completely lock-scum.
But it is scummy, and he has done little to no redeeming posting. Not a single post id mark as even slightly towny.
Busy, or just uninterested scum? I dno
This post is actually very important I feel.
The second sentence.
HB says that him explaining himself to sweet is becoming the noise that lets the mafia coast - aka he really feels that he's being a distraction by talking to sweet.
I dont think HB ever says this as scum.
"oh yeah, me talking to my scum teammate is causing a distraction that lets the scum fly under the radar".
You just cannot make that shit up as scum.
Strong townlean on HB just for that stuff.
M81 Town Vecna on HBJust hoping I was indeed wrong on my gutfeelings on HB. Ive townread him falsely in previous games with similar bad reasoning, but I havent had any indications of him being a fake fucker this game like last game.
do like this post from HB.
takes have some meat to em.
On further review HB is always one of Vecnas earliest reads as town. This appears to stem from a game where scum Hamilton fooled him.
M75
Ive discovered that town vecna does try to solve Hamilton consistently and has identified him accurately multiple times.Like, if HB was indeed scum here, and I was scum with him, I would not be trying whatsoever to change your mind, and would just gladly eat that rope because there is no hope anyway.
The only reason im giving a slight fuck is because I dont want my prioritizing other things to cause town to loose this game by being too easy a target.
M69
Personally I usually prefer to get a read on HB/jamiet slots. Not that im trying to dissuage you, just letting you know im probably only voting there if its a runaway wagon to steal the item
Conclusion: Vecna does this as town every time he comes across Hamilton. I think this fits with his statement of wating to wagon Hamilton. Thus I think Vecna has meta on his side; and is in his towngame here.
What can I say? I'm survivin'
