I am caught up and have to go do some work.

Reviewing the game so far, I have to vote for sweet. Sweet's claim is not beneficial, in my opinion, from any town role perspective. I see brain believes that it is a possible tactic to draw scum attention onto a VT, and I understand this. But I don't think that town trying to confuse mafia is a good play for town, because mafia have information, and town does not. Fake claims lead to misunderstanding and division for town. For example, mafia can profit from sweet's fakeclaim by simply ignoring him, enabling a suspicion-spiral later in the game. Sweet's play undermines the town more than it enables our PRs.

##VOTE sweetandcool
VTs do not know if they are VT or not. This would be bad play.

In fact it is bad play whatever so ##vote sweet.
Do you think scum is more likely to make bad plays then town?
I don't think townsweet would make this play hence I think it is scumsweet

Now I feel offended. Bud light sucks.

For my version of American, yes.

But there are Americans I know who don’t.

For a fascinating video, check out:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQw4w9WgXcQ
That is pretty interesting.

For me "cross" rhymes with "boss".
"Sauce" rhymes with "horse".
Whoa. Hot source. My mind is blown.
Brits love to add random "r" sounds to words, sometimes dependent on how the word is used in a sentence.

My favorite example is on UK MasterChef Professionals, there was a chef named "Louisa". Almost all the time they called her "Louiser", and every once in a while "Louisa". I forget what type of sentences elicited the normal "Louisa" pronunciation.

Well the Desperado could legit go on a spree and win the game on day 1. It isnt realistic to imagine.
Oh WOW I had not noticed that.

That is potentially more powerful than the standard Desperado that I have used before. I'm sure it doesn't usually have the potential for unlimited shots.
This version of it was used on my scumteam by darg in a game where you and I were scum together with vaporwave, xorxes, and moscowfleet. We got our asses handed to us because we thought flash was the cop and flipped vt. Them tom bomb fake claimed a cop guilty on me and on you day 3, and dargo shot us both- then tom flipped vt. Then real cop caught moscow and darg shot both moscow and xorx d4, then vapor conceded.

It was one of the worst scumteams in human history
That was a fine play by Tom Bomb though.

I'm not sure I understand how it could be?

I think the various gun owners activate on different days, don't they? They're not all active now on D1.
Jamie hardclaims not desperado.

##Vote flav

Maybe I'm misreading the posts, but I just get the image of the snitch kid from Recess. Parroting things just to make content.
Hes krellin without the cussing
Oh....and if you think 7 out of 23 is a good bet (and with mafia influence, you will be lucky if 7 out of 23 yields a mafia kill day one)....if you think that's a good bet....then you need to NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER go to a casino, or play the stockmarket or, shit, do just about anything that involves risk.

That being said, given that I believe most people on WebDip are above average intelligence, I find it difficult to think that you mean what you said...

Meaning it is either INTENTIOANLLY deceptive, or it truly was a stupid, Day 1 mafia slip of the tongue.

SO....my vote stands.

Scum...
BunnyGo are you using AI or something what kind of response is this. Flum literally is voting sweet because sweet would want to take a tadpole, which is crazy because that means Flum THINKS Sweet is NOT a mafia and yet is voting him ANYWAYS!

Two new parents screw this up.

I don’t think it’s towny to get this wrong. But maybe…? If they’re just posting gut feels without stopping to consider? Maybe it’s towny.
I thought that brain's read of bona implied he was more likely town, as scum would have more communications with bona implicated. I was trying to decide if sweet was making a sub rosa joke, but I don't think that would be alignment indicative for the second person to err.
I am fairly certain sweetandcool was joking, and it is somewhat suspicious that BunnyGo did not read it that way.
I'm not joking.

Not possible
I didn't know that until darg's post (and I suspect you didn't until you asked him).

So now I don't know what sweet is playing at. It would be bad play as a vt (as you might turn lawman), crazy play as sheriff, too attention seeking as mafia which leaves a desperate desperado maybe.

Anyway, strange play. I look forward to the eventual explanation.
The explanation was made in the god thread and in the main thread last game - though you died early and may not have been paying attention. Sweet is telling us that he is smarter than the rest of us. His claim is ego-driven (no offense, sweet!) as he is not willing to believe there may be valid reasoning in the beliefs of others that fake-claiming is bad for town.
Worry not, I use that term as well. There are lots of plays made in this game that are ego driven.

Ego is best avoided, but it can be fun.

@bozo: see above. food says what I'm thinking quite well. Sweet's best game was when he was the "hero power". He's yet to play a supporting role well.
Lol if you say so.

Show of hands: How many of us dumb fucks would, as the Despy, wait till about an hour before EoD1 and try to win the game alone?

Bona is the co gm
His post did not resemble a gm vote count
It was mistaken for being a summary of current voting
Same, though I realized eventually he was Co-GM.

Still thought it was funny enough to agree with you.

Flavius was mafia in M45 his first game.
If it is of interest his posting used alot less caps lock for emphasis in that game. He talked alot and leaned on how new he was alot.

I think that it would be wise to be less reliant on this "too scummy to be scum" defense.

Sweet's did not claim PR, he claimed "I am going to play in a way that is bad for Town."

That works as a scum play only because the prevailing view around here is: "too scummy to be scum." And it is a very easy ploy. It has also allowed him to avoid talking about alignments. He just keeps telling everyone how hard his claim is.

I dont care.
Do you care about anything Sweetandcool has done or said so far in this game?

Do you think Sweet is town because of his silly claim, or for another reason?
I care about him claiming he will cop scan me because it invites the roleblock and then I become a suspect mechanically because it pushes motive even if scum doesnt think sweet is sheriff

I think he is town for trying to drum up negativity towards himself
Oh dear you are right.

Okay, I am going to scan Jamiet N1, provided he is not the DK.
