Reviewing the game so far, I have to vote for sweet. Sweet's claim is not beneficial, in my opinion, from any town role perspective. I see brain believes that it is a possible tactic to draw scum attention onto a VT, and I understand this. But I don't think that town trying to confuse mafia is a good play for town, because mafia have information, and town does not. Fake claims lead to misunderstanding and division for town. For example, mafia can profit from sweet's fakeclaim by simply ignoring him, enabling a suspicion-spiral later in the game. Sweet's play undermines the town more than it enables our PRs.

That's interesting.
Why so defensive?
I actually agree with jamie here. Strong associative tell between worcej and sweet.

Unfortunately we have no way of verifying that during the game. However, it seems ever recent sub request have been from mafia.
I believe that is an inaccurate trope; I would also point out that, as you know, I have a preference for being scum. If anything I would be less likely to sub out as Mafia, than as Town.
I am surprised that you would consider subbing out as either alignment.
As you have identified with the timestamps, I thought about it, for a few minutes, because I was upset, and then I calmed myself down and changed my mind.

I don't think it's a good idea for you to tunnel on this because the GM is not going to verify whether or not I made a sub request. You either have to accept my word on the matter, or call me a liar.

@bozo: see above. food says what I'm thinking quite well. Sweet's best game was when he was the "hero power". He's yet to play a supporting role well.
Why was sweetandcool DKed in M89?
A good part of why I scumread him (we were both town) was for fakeclaiming.
What did he claim?

You’re making strong assumptions for a post made barely 2 hours into a game.

I think it’s more telling how desperate you’re grabbing at nothing and trying to buddy Jamie.

If I update my null reads to add eden, dip and bozo all as town…

Lemme reread my own reads because maybe I have someone I can vote for

Their name may rhyme with xochchka

I mean, if everyone votes No Kill, the game will end at EoD in a mutual loss for both sides.

That would be a bit deflating, so let's not do that.

Random off-topic discussion point:

The way you speak, does "cross" rhyme with "sauce" ?

(For Americans I assume yes, for Brits and Europeans I assume no)
Yes! I’m from the South baw.

(My understanding is that our accent is the closest American accent to colonial era English and also to a “British” accent today. I know “British accent” is super broad but I don’t know the proper term for the specific accent :/)
There's an island off NC that is more "British" still.
No such thing as a British accent.

Earp wasn't considered a hero until after World War I.

In the aftermath of World War I, America was reeling from the loss of so many men and dealing with a tangled, international conflict.

The public had become hungry for human-sized stories of conflict with real heroes. In the aftermath of World War I, the conflict in Tombstone was resurrected as a simple story of lawmen versus cattle thieves, good guys versus bad guys.

Earp's wife is the reason anyone remembers the story at all.

Josie Marcus, who technically never married Earp but was with him for 49 years, is responsible for shaping the narrative most people know today. Think of it as a posthumous publicity campaign for her husband.

If it were not for Josie's increasing obsession with making sure that Wyatt's name was clear and that he was remembered the way she thought he deserved to be, we would not know his name at all. Other than on some obscures internet site, perhaps. This story would have been in the dustbin of history. She became increasingly frantic to make sure she could give her husband the epitaph she believed he deserved.

Her interpretation laid a lot of the blame on Holliday instead. By the time she was sharing her version of events, Holliday was long dead, with no family left to defend his honor.

Tally Count

Still too early to worry about non voting tallies.

A little over a day and 7 hours left today.

The fact that Worcej overlooked my answer to his question, focussed on the fact I made a comment about him, and then accused me of not answering the question, indicates that he was not interested in getting an answer, only interested in shading me.

VTs do not know if they are VT or not. This would be bad play.

In fact it is bad play whatever so ##vote sweet.

Good night everybody, I am here because Dargo pinged me on Discord.

##Ask GM - How many Lawmen could exist?

This game looks so scumsided with a NK and four scum shots.

##vote Chaqa

Hope to get back before Dargo pings me again.
Summary
I am posting because darg pinged me
I dont know how many gunmen town has
the setup is scumsided because they get five kills
Im gonna vote chaqa
Hopefully ill be able to post again today before darg pings me on discord

——

I want to believe that this is just rdrivera doing a normal intro post but I have doubts. These four statements and vote seem to present a myriad of thoughts and also simultaneously a lack thereof.

My current scumreads are rdr, and bona.

Bona for completely different reasons. For one im
Used to bona showing up to have conversation with someone and to probe people with dialogue. Town bona has a system which in his own way creates a smattering of scathing punches. Instead bona posts something akin to organized observation and does not engage with others.

This seems to me to be a change in style and character by bona.

My townreads thus far are foodcoats and bunny. I feel some alright vibes from DemonRHK, and kingofthepirates. hamilton also shines here in a typical very true to form hamilton manner. These arent strong townreads but I am happy saying I feel good about food and bunny specifically.

Sweet is doing some wacky stuff and im leaning town even if balki charges the behavior is anti town. I dont suspect Balki for that line of attack.

Jamie is a distraction and I am null on his behavior at present.

Worcej is null as well but his early entry and subsequent posts shine a little better than what ive seen from bona and rdr.

Chaqa is a null who left no impression on me so far.

Thats many of my thoughts thus far.
Scum didn't have five kills. They have four possible guns and NK every night.
