Yes! I’m from the South baw.

(My understanding is that our accent is the closest American accent to colonial era English and also to a “British” accent today. I know “British accent” is super broad but I don’t know the proper term for the specific accent :/)

Balki has been upvoting but not posting. Not sure what to make of it
Didn't *you* do that for almost an entire D1, once?
I'm cuter. And always obv town.
I could see a budding bromance between BunnyGo and Balki where they teasingly accuse each other of being cuter. It would make a good summer movie.

Not possible
I didn't know that until darg's post (and I suspect you didn't until you asked him).

So now I don't know what sweet is playing at. It would be bad play as a vt (as you might turn lawman), crazy play as sheriff, too attention seeking as mafia which leaves a desperate desperado maybe.

Anyway, strange play. I look forward to the eventual explanation.
The explanation was made in the god thread and in the main thread last game - though you died early and may not have been paying attention. Sweet is telling us that he is smarter than the rest of us. His claim is ego-driven (no offense, sweet!) as he is not willing to believe there may be valid reasoning in the beliefs of others that fake-claiming is bad for town.
@bozo: see above. food says what I'm thinking quite well. Sweet's best game was when he was the "hero power". He's yet to play a supporting role well.

I have, and at 44:29 you said you were considering subbing out, and at 44:25 you said you decided not to. Did you make an actual request to sub out and rescind the request in those 4 minutes?
Yes I did.
Unfortunately we have no way of verifying that during the game. However, it seems ever recent sub request have been from mafia.
I believe that is an inaccurate trope; I would also point out that, as you know, I have a preference for being scum. If anything I would be less likely to sub out as Mafia, than as Town.

There's an island off NC that is more "British" still.

Yes. I actually cannot imagine how you say these words for them not to rhyme. Can you provide a phonetic example?
"Cross" rhymes with "Boss" or "Ross" or "Floss".
"Sauce" rhymes with "Horse" and "Morse", and "Course".
This reminds me of when a friend told me that Australian "no" rhymes with "far" rather than "hoe."

We really lucked out in Anglo North America not being a bunch of weirdos.

Mistaken by you. Ok. Yes. Thank you for clarifying that you made a mistake.

Now, what do you make of the fact that Sweet, who as you will recall is hard claiming Cop, also voted for Bonatogether?

Two new parents screw this up.

I don’t think it’s towny to get this wrong. But maybe…? If they’re just posting gut feels without stopping to consider? Maybe it’s towny.
I thought that brain's read of bona implied he was more likely town, as scum would have more communications with bona implicated. I was trying to decide if sweet was making a sub rosa joke, but I don't think that would be alignment indicative for the second person to err.
I am fairly certain sweetandcool was joking, and it is somewhat suspicious that BunnyGo did not read it that way.
Agreed, I think brain's read was in error, and sweet's was in jest. I town brain for it, and NAI sweet for it.

##VOTE Bonatogether
Curious, is this an actual feature of the game? if you vote for a GM it counts as a self-vote?
I think it is because "Bonatogether" is an invalid vote, and the closest "Bo" in the Peterbot's database is..... Bozo.
that makes sense.

So some questions I've had while catching up:
what's up with foodcoats? both vecna and bunny and scumming them, and for the life of me I can't tell why, outside of one comment about alleged buddying????
then why does damo want to shoot vecna???
are we still within shit posting time? are the above 2 issues both shit posting (doubtful since bunny is actually still on vecna)?
As astra per amorem

Worcej and Chaqa have posted less than 30 words between them.

I know that Chaqa said he is currently only able to post by going down to the Western Union office and asking to use their Morse telegraph, but what is Worcej's excuse? He can't still be drunk, surely?

That is pretty interesting.

For me "cross" rhymes with "boss".
"Sauce" rhymes with "horse".
Whoa. Hot source. My mind is blown.
Exactly, yes. I pronounce "Sauce" and "Source" identically and I think this is quite a common pronunciation for a British person.

Whereas I imagine you pronounce "Sauce" as if it is "Sawsss" or "Soss", right?
Yeah. Funny stuff. I didn't realize the "source" pronunciation was a British thing.

Do you say "milk" or "malk" or "melk?"
