The way you speak, does "cross" rhyme with "sauce" ?
(For Americans I assume yes, for Brits and Europeans I assume no)
But there are Americans I know who don’t.

For me "cross" rhymes with "boss".
"Sauce" rhymes with "horse".

Curious, is this an actual feature of the game? if you vote for a GM it counts as a self-vote?

My vacation is going well until 2 days ago where I had to do some work on a dock that fell apart in a storm. i was wading in the water and have developed a skin issue on my legs. it is a pretty horrendous form of swimmers itch which has covered me in what look like chicken pox. i am itchy all day and it is awful. It is hard to concentrate and ive been pretty snappy and irritable as a result. Trying to treat it with anti itch spray and about six showers a day right now. Its horrible, and no one would enjoy this feeling.

Yes I did.bozotheclown wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2024 1:12 pmI have, and at 44:29 you said you were considering subbing out, and at 44:25 you said you decided not to. Did you make an actual request to sub out and rescind the request in those 4 minutes?

I am fairly certain sweetandcool was joking, and it is somewhat suspicious that BunnyGo did not read it that way.foodcoats wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2024 1:11 pmI thought that brain's read of bona implied he was more likely town, as scum would have more communications with bona implicated. I was trying to decide if sweet was making a sub rosa joke, but I don't think that would be alignment indicative for the second person to err.BunnyGo wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2024 11:01 amTwo new parents screw this up.sweetandcool wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2024 6:50 am
I was thinking the same thing about Bona, very strange so far.
Hmmm, interesting thought about rdr.
How are you Towning Bunny? I feel like their reaction to me was them trying to be authentically Bunny. Rather than actually authentically being Bunny.
I don’t think it’s towny to get this wrong. But maybe…? If they’re just posting gut feels without stopping to consider? Maybe it’s towny.

I think it is because "Bonatogether" is an invalid vote, and the closest "Bo" in the Peterbot's database is..... Bozo.kingofthepirates wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2024 1:15 pmCurious, is this an actual feature of the game? if you vote for a GM it counts as a self-vote?

It is indeed the duck itch. Ducks have been all over the docks last few weeks and yea im doing my best to deal with it. My skin is highly reactive to this as ive had it before.BunnyGo wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2024 1:15 pmOoof. Sounds like the Duck Itch we get around here. Exactly, yes. I pronounce "Sauce" and "Source" identically and I think this is quite a common pronunciation for a British person.foodcoats wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2024 1:15 pmWhoa. Hot source. My mind is blown.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2024 11:35 amThat is pretty interesting.

Whereas I imagine you pronounce "Sauce" as if it is "Sawsss" or "Soss", right?

Re: M 90: Shootout at the Pretty Good Corral
The explanation was made in the god thread and in the main thread last game - though you died early and may not have been paying attention. Sweet is telling us that he is smarter than the rest of us. His claim is ego-driven (no offense, sweet!) as he is not willing to believe there may be valid reasoning in the beliefs of others that fake-claiming is bad for town.damo666 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2024 12:31 pmI didn't know that until darg's post (and I suspect you didn't until you asked him).
So now I don't know what sweet is playing at. It would be bad play as a vt (as you might turn lawman), crazy play as sheriff, too attention seeking as mafia which leaves a desperate desperado maybe.
Anyway, strange play. I look forward to the eventual explanation.

Unfortunately we have no way of verifying that during the game. However, it seems ever recent sub request have been from mafia.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2024 1:16 pmYes I did.bozotheclown wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2024 1:12 pmI have, and at 44:29 you said you were considering subbing out, and at 44:25 you said you decided not to. Re: M 90: Shootout at the Pretty Good Corral
brain seems like a good ole baw to me. As foodcoats pointed out, giving a fake read on the cohost in the middle of a set of fake reads on actual players would be an odd mistake for mafia to make. It also didn’t read like a joke. I think that one is actually alignment indicative. (some good baw points to foodcoats for pointing this out as well. If you my darling reader also said this and didn’t get credit just award yourself that too, I haven’t caught up fully yet)
You could argue that the same logic could apply to sweet, but it’s way easier for mafia to hand out an “oh yea man I agree on that” on a mistaken read, either out of genuine goof or as a ploy. If I’m being honest with y’all I just got out of towner vibes from him
Same with rdr tbh there’s nothing “wrong” with his posts but they’re pingin me wrong brother.
