I'm just trying to enjoy the social aspect of the game. There's a very small playerbase here - it seems nice to say a few pleasantries and make some smalltalk at the beginning.Vecna wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2024 9:01 amQuick balki, he's trying to befriend you.foodcoats wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2024 12:41 amThat sounds most serene. I'm doing well, thank you. About to sit down to dinner. I might even head out for a short little run as the sun sets this evening. All is well.
How are you?
(I actually do think theres a decent shot foodcoats is scum here)

My vacation is going well until 2 days ago where I had to do some work on a dock that fell apart in a storm. i was wading in the water and have developed a skin issue on my legs. it is a pretty horrendous form of swimmers itch which has covered me in what look like chicken pox. i am itchy all day and it is awful. It is hard to concentrate and ive been pretty snappy and irritable as a result. Trying to treat it with anti itch spray and about six showers a day right now. Its horrible, and no one would enjoy this feeling.
You should probably go to the doctor.

That's an interesting take, but I prefer my explanation that sweet pre-planned to claim a role to demonstrate his commitment to his personal beliefs about optimal town play, regardless of his alignment or role.

FWIW, I did actually request to sub out, and then cancelled that request before Dargorygel had time to act on it. After the game is over you can ask him to confirm that, but of course you shouldn't ask him now.brainbomb wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2024 12:54 pmI had been pondering that Jamie was mafia and was annoyed at being pushed.
but the idea he could be faking the desire to sub out - and faking that anger felt equally possible. the purpose of that anger faking is so he doesnt have to rationally push or question anyone ; instead focusing in on the supposed anger to try to get townread on AtE.
But most of this falls away because I think bottom line is he gets very annoyed at being pushed day 1, and takes great offense to feeling bullied or targeted.

Re: M 90: Shootout at the Pretty Good Corral
Eden reads a ton. M89 he subbed in for lfischl and had 109 pages read and the setup fully understood within 4 hours. He was correcting people on the setup within hours of subbing in.
He is very capable of reading and not posting.
The better way to evaluate him is talking about his push on rdrivera. Is it a good place to be pushing, is it an opportunistic place to be pushing.
I see the validity in pushing rdr. Rivera doesnt engage enough with people and it leads to him hiding out until endgames. Force rivera to speak and make opinions; or he fries.

I assume Jamie has figured out that brain was summarizing rdr, but in case he hasn't: Jamie, brain was summarizing rdr.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2024 9:44 amHmmmm, hold on.
Prior to this post you, Brainbomb, had posted 8 times (within the first 24 hours of the day).
KOTP, DemonRHK, Lfischl, Rdrivera, Worcej, President Eden, and Bozotheclown have posted less than Brainbomb.
Why would the GM feel it necessary to ping / nudge someone to participate, who was not even among the lowest 7 posters???
I can't see why the GM would feel the need to ping mid-tier posters?

I thought that brain's read of bona implied he was more likely town, as scum would have more communications with bona implicated. I was trying to decide if sweet was making a sub rosa joke, but I don't think that would be alignment indicative for the second person to err.BunnyGo wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2024 11:01 amTwo new parents screw this up.sweetandcool wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2024 6:50 amI was thinking the same thing about Bona, very strange so far.brainbomb wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2024 5:46 am
Summary
I am posting because darg pinged me
I dont know how many gunmen town has
the setup is scumsided because they get five kills
Im gonna vote chaqa
Hopefully ill be able to post again today before darg pings me on discord
——
I want to believe that this is just rdrivera doing a normal intro post but I have doubts. These four statements and vote seem to present a myriad of thoughts and also simultaneously a lack thereof.
My current scumreads are rdr, and bona.
Bona for completely different reasons. For one im
Used to bona showing up to have conversation with someone and to probe people with dialogue. Town bona has a system which in his own way creates a smattering of scathing punches. Instead bona posts something akin to organized observation and does not engage with others.
This seems to me to be a change in style and character by bona.
My townreads thus far are foodcoats and bunny. I feel some alright vibes from DemonRHK, and kingofthepirates. hamilton also shines here in a typical very true to form hamilton manner. These arent strong townreads but I am happy saying I feel good about food and bunny specifically.
Sweet is doing some wacky stuff and im leaning town even if balki charges the behavior is anti town. I dont suspect Balki for that line of attack.
Jamie is a distraction and I am null on his behavior at present.
Worcej is null as well but his early entry and subsequent posts shine a little better than what ive seen from bona and rdr.
Chaqa is a null who left no impression on me so far.
Thats many of my thoughts thus far.
Hmmm, interesting thought about rdr.
How are you Towning Bunny? I feel like their reaction to me was them trying to be authentically Bunny. Rather than actually authentically being Bunny.
I don’t think it’s towny to get this wrong. But maybe…? If they’re just posting gut feels without stopping to consider? Maybe it’s towny.

I have, and at 44:29 you said you were considering subbing out, and at 44:25 you said you decided not to. Did you make an actual request to sub out and rescind the request in those 4 minutes?Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2024 1:08 pmRead the game maybe.bozotheclown wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2024 1:07 pmWhy would you ask to sub out?Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2024 1:05 pm
