Also, I hard claim Investigative Sheriff.
Hell of a thing to walk in to when first entering the game.

Hey Sweet, what say we avoid the D1 shenanigans and make it so one another live to N1 at least?
Sure buddy. Let's live!

Reading P1 for the game rules but want to assert that the CW from last game seemed to be...eliminate lurkers now before town has to rely on them, and their unreliavility, later on.

Just saying.

So, 4pm EST. Good to know. Good start.

Ok, I am liking this, especially if I make it beyond D5.

Ordinary lengths from D1 to D5; D6 and further 24 hour phases.

No post requirements

No Kill is NOT an option at EOD but is allowed during the day

The person responsible for a tie at EOD is going to take some bullets. That's kind of cool. So, there's some implied strategy there that I think is OK to discuss today?

Alright, then the rest of the setup gets tricky. I'll read it tomorrow.

I want to get my towncore together. Only way through this thing.

If the sheriff is TRICKY, there is a further 50% chance that for the Investigative Sheriff’s FIRST investigation, everything is fine… but thereafter the Investigative Sheriff will continue to receive the same result as the first investigation.
OR
There is a further %50 chance that the sheriff will simply receive the OPPOSITE result of the scan’s true result.

Note: The Sherrif, of course, simply receives the Role Notification below.

Thus faR I am NOT liking the energy from Jamie or Sweet. I expect the early D1 votes on Jamie will dissipate as the day goes on, but I wouldn't mind Sweet's rationale for hardclaiming so early, unless it's a fakeclaim and they're trying to hook a new player. Are there any new players in this game?

You dicks want to hound me out of the game on D1 because you don't like me in person?

I'm on the absolute cusp of asking to sub out.
Can I suggest getting to bed. Not sure who you think doesn't like you in person. I think you've got more moxie than that.

And you've got some good deductive skills.

I'm very confused by your response, but I'm guessing it's very late where you are. Perhaps this will read differently to you in the morning.
Maybe in the morning you will not be voting for me.

Who knows.
We should get a wagon going on one of these lurkers. I don't think this damo character has been D1'd in a while, and he's known to be a real loose cannon (if you catch my drift).

##VOTE damo666
The lurker option did come up quite a bit last game. Wait, did I mention that already? Something about get rid of them now before they fuck it up for us later on?

I'm doing well, thank you. About to sit down to dinner. I might even head out for a short little run as the sun sets this evening. All is well.

How are you?
That sounds most serene. I'm well - had a long day in the sun, so I'm tired, but in the nice way.
Welp, it's Day 1. Should we kill Damo or Hamilton Brian?
Hey Pardner, that ain't cool! Let me buy you a round.

I think we should strongly consider killing lurkers, especially D2 and D3 (we should embrace the chaos D1). They don’t help town, they are problematic in the end game, and there’s usually scum among them.

That said, my vote on damo is a joke.

jeez, 1.5 hours since I last read and we already have some fire works. oh boy! Here, have a (small) thought dump.

sweet, I have no clue what this kind of ridiculous gambit you have chosen to play is going to do, or what you hope to accomplish by it, but damn is it interesting. Still, its giving me the heebie jeebies. Too insane to judge alignment.

Jamie's coming hard right out the gate. Very unexpected. I'm hesitant to label it scum theater as others have, but this is VERY different from what I would expect. Too similar to what I would expect of mid-late game jamie to call it shitposting or gimmicks. I want to say slight mafia lean? but only barely.

personally I don't buy into shooting the lurkers D1. Give them some time to prove themselves.

Too lazy to judge anything else really. Balki seems to be his usual bubbly helpful self. that's all. more discussion to foll- SQUIRREL! *runs off cartoon style after a squirrel*

Minus a town point to King for trying to buddy me. Be town to me, don't try to me.
