##CALL GM

What are the rules for resolving a standoff?

I imagine, IF Town refrains from shooting, optimal strategy dictates No-Kill while the detective churns through the players.

If Mafia shoots all of their shots and never hits detective, will the game be called a auto win for Town?
I can't and won't advise strategy... but in your second part, no it us not auto win. Deaths still occur by voting.

And how is a standoff resolved? If there is no DK chosen, and Mafia chooses not to NK?

In the end, we will follow our usual policy that the first to NOT resolve must do so.

Yes
Follow up question:
If a role with a gun holsters, can they use their gun in a different type of phase than they would normally?
For example, if a Mafia Night Gunner holsters, can they then use their gun during the following day?

Could I casually just make a suggestion that ties at end of days just result in a coin flip or random result flip? If the desire is that neither team iniaties a standoff you can actively just ensure that standoffs also result in death anyway

Mebbe... (not referring to 'ties' of two people shooting each other, in which case BOTH die)

I have seen that done, brain... I'll consider and announce before beginning of game.

We have passed the minimum, so huzzah!

To my knowledge, we have not played anything 'like' this. So I am sure it will be a learning curve. Keep thinking and asking questions, please. It helps work out the kinks.

Also... which such a blood-bath-potential game I recommend the following, to keep us civil.
a) Do not shoot anyone whose feelings will be hurt, or who will be offended.
b) Do not shoot anyone who you get along with.
c) Do not shoot anyone who you do NOT get along with.
d) Do not shoot anyone older than you.
e) Do not shoot anyone younger than you.

For flavor, I have collected a host of gunfighter wild west snippets of stories. I will insert them for your education and entertainment.

I will also be NAMING you. Hopefully in an appropriate way.

That is all for now.

I assume whoever rolls Desperado will earn some sort of Darg related name, in honour of the original legendary Desperado.
