Scratch the question and guess.DreamTrawler wrote: ↑Wed Jun 12, 2024 11:40 pmQuestion is still useful for stuff like Trinidad and Tobago, but note that we ruled out Southern Hemisphere (so no Falklands)Spartaculous wrote: ↑Wed Jun 12, 2024 11:37 pmIs South America the closest continent to the island of his birth?

This rules out some small islands, although not Trinidad and Tobago because Wikipedia has it as part of North America.

Re: 20 Questions Game 310
Can I get a clarification on your definition of Atlantic island- this is excluding seas like Caribbean and Mediterranean right?
And similarly if an island is marked green on the Wikipedia maps for North America or Europe it’s out right?

You're on the verge or figuring out this person's island of birth, but figuring out the individual might take some more narrowing down.

By deduction:
a) it can't be the Caribbean; all of those islands are in North America;
b) it can't be the mid-Atlantic islands; all of those are either in Europe (Iceland), or controlled by a European country (Azores, Canaries, Ascenscion, etc);
c) almost all of the islands in the Med are controlled by a European country, with the single exception I can think of ...
