##vote yoyo
Based on their vote patterns and I think even having a vote on sweet day 3 with tadpole in play this tells us a lot

I've just got a gut feeling about him.

I don't have a ton else, due to not having read half the thread 😁
##VOTE MadMonarch

Your rapid succession of posts seem prepared. How are you replying to posts that are hours apart in a few minutes, jumping back and forth in time, etc.
This is another tinfoil that I have.

The above two examples are things ive never seen being commented on in previous mafia games. Here it happens twice in a game.

Visualized pattern: Flum helping yoyo out in scumchat with arguments to make yoyo look better and attack easy miskills.
dont forget about this wonderfull tinfoil now that flum flipped scum

why didnt you vote flum eod3 sweet? there was a big wagon there.

im still so salty about that flav flip.
Between Fox, Flav, Flume, and later Food, I was really spoiled for choice. Flum was the only one that I wasn't heavily scumreading at that point. I would have been okay flipping him but it would have been disappointing compared to others.

In hindsight, I do regret getting caught up in a wave of paranoia over Flav. I wish we flipped Fox or Food.
I don’t understand. You voted for me, not Flav. What do you mean about being paranoid of Flav?
Yes, thankfully a flash wagon formed on you that I supported. But if I didn't support the push on Flav, maybe the Fox wagon wouldn't have died and EoD wouldn't have been so chaotic.

I assume that since yesterday was town-Flav vs scum-Flum I got flashwagoned as a “safety.” Just, sweet, Yoyo and Dousing are my immediate suspects from looking at the bot, but I will have to do a proper analysis later if I survive today.

Busy day today. Stop to check the vote. You guys are infuriating with voting food.

Then remember to scroll down and check all the flips.

WELL DONE ARCHER!!!

(And nicely done fooling me Flum)

Ok…but not food.

##vote demon

Might be back later. Have a work thing at EOD…so might not be on much the rest of the day. Will not be following any events.

because im not certain enough.

Its sort of the self-awareness that my brain often looks for these slightly tinfoil-y connections/patterns that might fit and coukd be possible, but where the plausability is questionable.

Its just that deja vu feeling that often when i see patterns of connected people, the scum team is much more often just the unconnected scummy individuals.

tldr; just because it could have happened does not mean it actually happened.
Woah, this somehow sounds like brainbomb's method. Except he posts more, of course.
my scale goes possible/probable/fact. This game im not trying to focus too hard on everything thats possible, but consist of a number of small moving parts.

brainbomb has 2 other scales before possible that sometimes go all the way up to "the earth isnt flat, its a 4 dimensional trapezoid inhabited by giant space hamsters". He gets it right often enough as well though and gets ignored.

But your attempt to shade me has been noted.
How backwards. It was a compliment. Brainbomb is my pal.

Why would I have been fishing for a tadpole?
Because you wanted to be Mafia? Idk, why does anyone?

I was half asleep when I wrote that. Not a completely logical post but it had some good points.

What's your answer?
You think that anyone who drew the Cleric of Knowledge power and Town would decide that their power was more useful to the Mafia, and therefore would want to be Mafia, and would attempt to induce the Mafia to tadpole them by making posts that suggest they are such a PR?

I don’t think that is a good point, I think that is extremely tunnelled and conspiratorial thinking. It misses the fact that the Cleric of Knowledge can share the unbiased and largely up to date opinions of townclears who can still read the game, and also bring back claims and information that are lost due to death, for example if someone is janitored or if a cop dies without sharing their scans. Those seem to be abilities that are beneficial to town, which seems to undermine the premise of your argument - even if we don’t consider whether someone would necessarily want to be mafia just because they get a power that is more appropriate for scum (e.g. the Arcane Trickster).

Please clarify if I understand your argument correctly.
Ignore my question then :P

Much thought went into this ruling, as in Baldurs Gate 3, a person who had been tadpoled the tadpole appears and it is evident. However in this mafia game, darg and I decided that there would not be any indication whatsoever of if someone was tadpoled or not.

Guys take a look at EoD 3. Flum didn't end the day as a top 2 wagon but might have ended there. There is tons of relevant movement now we know that Flum was scum.
I think RHK looks town for voting Flum when he did (was 6-4 flav vs Flum he made it 6-5). He also moved back on Flav later though, and did end the day there...
Food looks very towny as well (making it 6-4 for flum)
I think people who left from Flav to Food look town as well, because they potentially put Flum at risk of being flipped.
Notably, imo, nobody did that except for dousing.

Man I need some time away. I want to believe so badly I'm right about food and this was scum v scum.

@Vecna

Give this ruling I think there’s another way to read Flum’s post.

man Flum talked to sweet a lot about tadpoles lol…
Is it possible that Flum was a VT who received a tadpole and chose the path of Evil?
I’m currently trying to soul read the WIFOM and decide if Flum (1) tarred and feathered sweet with a bunch of tadpole talk or (2) straight up went for the signal at start of d3 and bet on himself that he wouldn’t flip before we forgot about it.
I don't understand why the majority of players seem to view this game so backwards from the way I tend to view it (not claiming I have the correct view this game, just an observation).

I never thought anything of Flum's joke, it seemed natural given how D1 went. The theory surrounding it makes no sense to me. From my POV Vecna has pretty much conjured this connection from thin air.

However, I feel like this entire game I've been playing pretty "scummy" and for some reason people have been Towning me. Every other game I am pretty good at solving and I work hard and everyone scumreads me. Anyways, while I think this tadpole nonsense is specifically a horrible reason to scumread me, I think my performance, other than my votes, has been incredibly poor, so I suppose in the end it's fair.
