##GM NOTE: In the usual fashion, the Mafia members will vote at night in the Mafia QT for who they target for the night kill. The oldest vote determines who carries out the kill. (In my experience, the decision on the target and the player to carry it out are reached by consensus, and then that one person votes.)

This game is complicated.

(1) If I retrieve a gun from the box and shoot Durga, will the announcement of the shot reveal me to be the shooter?

(2) The rules say "A visit by the Doctor or the application of a First Aid Kit will save the player from being killed by the Box."

But the order of operations say that "Box is opened (items received/effects applied/explosion)" happens prior to "Doctor saves/First Aid Kits."

It seems like both these things cannot be true. Or, is the only thing that could save a person with the box, a visit from a Doctor/First Aid Kit on the night before?

(3) You have Doctor saves and first aid kits happening after the Mafia Night Kill/Gunshots. Seems like those are some pretty useless Doctor saves/First Aid Kits. What am I missing?

If Doc visited the target before mafia kills them, they would say "You're very healthy. Keep taking your pills." That's why doc visits after NK action.

If we start on Sunday or Wednesday, that minimizes the number of day phases that end on weekends. (2 weekend EODs through Day 10, compared to 3 for Monday/Tuesday/Thursday or 4 for Friday/Saturday.)

If people are up for a Sunday (10/21) start date, great! But I won't rush the start from the original (Wednesday, 10/24) start day unless everyone is okay with it.

##GM NOTE...

The first thing we do, the Hooker's roleblock prevents the Cop from carrying out either his investigation or the use of the first aid kid (which is then expended anyway). He does not make either of those visits.

Second, the Driver switches the Doctor and the Cop. This means: instead of NK'ing the Cop, the Hooker will now NK the Doc; instead of observing the Cop, the Observer will now observe the Doc. The Observer sees that the Doctor is visited by the Hooker (to perform the NK, although that is not indicated) and the Driver (to perform the switch), and that the Doctor visits the Hooker (to deliver the box, which is not affected by the Driver, and which is not indicated to the Observer).

[In the alternate scenario where the Observer observes the Doctor, they would be driven to the Cop instead and receive a report that the Hooker visited the Cop and that the Cop made no visits. Yes, that's might seem odd because it's retroactive to a prior step, but don't focus on the linear narrative, focus on 1) the observer only sees one target and 2) the Observer sees everything that happens to that one target in the night.]

Third, the Hoooker NK's the Doctor. The Doctor's shot on the Driver is not a visit, and so is not observed by the Observer. Since you don't state any other First Aid Kits and don't assign the Doctor any visits, I'll assume none are in play and both the Doctor and the Driver die.

As for the Box, if the Doctor delivers an empty Box, that implies that the Doctor drew the last item at the beginning of this hypothetical. The following night, the Hooker will be holding the Box when it explodes (unless they are lynched or shot during the day, in which case a random player will end up holding the box).

This generates the following PMs:
1) A PM to the Cop that he has been roleblocked.
2) A PM to the Observer that he witnessed the Doctor being visited by the Hooker and the Driver, and that the Doctor visited the Hooker.
3) A PM to the Doctor telling him he is dead.
4) A PM to the Driver telling him he is dead.

The EON announcement will include that a shot was fired and that the Doctor and the Driver are dead.

Additional clarification: the Observer and Cop are told who they investigated/observed even if their targets are switched. So even if they order Investigate/Observe Player A, their report will tell them that they investigated/observed Player B if the Driver drove A and B. My role interaction notes may have implied otherwise, but I was just going down a rabbit hole there.
