This may shock you - but I don’t watch games I GM as closely as you may think…sweetandcool wrote: ↑Mon Jun 10, 2024 2:02 amJust looked. Jamiet was the NK1 in M86 so he wouldn't have witnessed brainbomb's guilty guilty guilty debacle. Might have spectated it.
Oh and worcej was GM!
Though you'd think given it was such a big deal they would have observed it.

I don’t think you need to worry about Squigs talking too much anymore…Yoyoyozo wrote: ↑Mon Jun 10, 2024 1:48 amCan we get some more people talking please?Squigs44 wrote: ↑Sun Jun 09, 2024 2:43 amMy solving abilities don't really get that great until we have more VCA/mech or scum flips to read off of. But im trying to get a good PoE and that Balki flashwagon was a confidence booster to just follow my gut. Thought we were gonna get that again with the food flashwagonsweetandcool wrote: ↑Sun Jun 09, 2024 2:09 amI'm so tired. Where are our solvers?
Am I really expected to carry the team?

Just looked through Jamie's last scumgame, M80. Dang, other than paedogate, he was just pretty fun that game. Also, pretty good acting, so maybe my 100% record on reading him is by merit of him rolling Town over and over.
I'm still not convinced he is Town, but it looks more likely this game.

Food for obvious reasons. Fox because I think Flum is onto something.

food is one of my top townreads. So it isn't obvious to me. Spell it out.

Re: M89: Baldurs Gate Mafia Game Thread
I've made my case on Food about 10 times.
From best case to worst imo:
VCA of him d2. I hated the timing of his vote on D&W. It screamed of Scum trying to save scum.
"
I haven't felt any conviction or drive to solve. He's randomly kept calling me scum and a lurker when I was pretty active all day 2, but he seemed slow to the party on that.
Also his votes d2 are awful. Me->Damo (which always looked bad imo)->me->damo->me.
Finally, when the cards were on the table and it was balki vs dip, he voted dip.
This was his vote:
"
@@VOTE Diplomacy&Warfare
I guess?
"
There's no reasoning there. He hadn't previously scumread dip, and we now know that was the *wrong* wagon.
It was his only post in the final 5 hours of the day, with 15 minutes left. I suspect he was posting more in the mafia daychat than in this one.
"
I remember asking people about his usual posting meta , and he seemed to dramatically change how he acted in response to it throughout the day. It felt weird and forced (also a misplay I see scum make all the time when called out for odd gameplay).
His game feels more about saying stuff rather than thinking about stuff. I don't feel like he's actually thinking about the game or reading. I feel like he's trying to give the appearance of solving more than actually solve. He's said a few patently false things about me while trying to push me with a super flimsycase last night.
His entire game feels super hollow to me.
