Nevermind, GM just clarified.sweetandcool wrote: ↑Sun Jun 09, 2024 1:58 amYou are correct. But there is no mention of a notice of rejection.Yoyoyozo wrote: ↑Sun Jun 09, 2024 1:48 amCan you specify where this is stated? I assumed that when the tadpole was accepted that they’d automatically be added to the daychatsweetandcool wrote: ↑Sun Jun 09, 2024 1:44 amBy the way, the theory that ghug was offered the tadpole and then killed because he rejected it doesn't make sense. Mafia wouldn't know about a rejection until 30 minutes before EoD. So they certainly wouldn't kill until the night or the next day.

ghug would NEVER have rejected it without claiming so in thread.sweetandcool wrote: ↑Sun Jun 09, 2024 1:44 amBy the way, the theory that ghug was offered the tadpole and then killed because he rejected it doesn't make sense. I'm so tired. Where are our solvers?
Am I really expected to carry the team?

I'm here, but I'm hung up on this duel lol. I know I should work on other stuff, but I can't shake the feeling that the duel VCA is money. And I already have a nice story in my head that D3 was set to be a comfy mafia kill until shenanigans occurred that I still don't understandsweetandcool wrote: ↑Sun Jun 09, 2024 2:09 amI'm so tired. Not many, one or two a phase. It's hard keeping up this quick pace with this many players. I don't have extra thoughts besides what I'm putting here.

If he's telling the truth (no opinion), I can say from ample GM experience that managing mafia chat is no impediment to Bunny blogging his strategies lol.

Not to spook you, sweet, but I basically 100% trust you right now.
What “flash point” events occurred this game that you think merit my review? Things like the duel.

My solving abilities don't really get that great until we have more VCA/mech or scum flips to read off of. But im trying to get a good PoE and that Balki flashwagon was a confidence booster to just follow my gut. Thought we were gonna get that again with the food flashwagonsweetandcool wrote: ↑Sun Jun 09, 2024 2:09 amI'm so tired. Where are our solvers?

Aw man I was already 100% spooked unless Mafia had BM.President Eden wrote: ↑Sun Jun 09, 2024 2:36 amNot to spook you, sweet, but I basically 100% trust you right now.

If I had the energy I would:
1. Investigate the Dip voters pre-duel.
Ghug and I both laid out a case for why Dip was obviously Town. Kak was blinded by rage and the very definition of an illogical tunnel when he ended up being the NK (why was he NK? Because of his tunnel?)
Then several players decided to sheep Kak's read. Since when does anyone listen to the dead? And one so obviously wrong? And why did even ghug decide a little before the duel to vote Dip?
2. The duel obviously. If Mafia activated BM then Flume is Mafia and you are Town. If Town activated it then the duel VCA is obviously critical.
3. Fox vs Balki: Balki began D2 by lightly scumming Fox. A few hours pass and Fox ominously posts that he is going to whip something up against Balki.
33 minutes pass and he makes a case where he plucks every game they have played together and how every single time Balki tunnels him, inaccurately, etc.
Normally this and the ensuing argument would cause at least one party to be townread. But DAYCHAT.
And Fox spends so much energy on an awful irrelevant defense. But now I remember that he is generally horrible at defending himself. So is he or is he not Mafia? Is he worth flipping? Other than this he's done a good job of seeming generally townie, but so did Balki.
4. Bunny and Squig, Bunny and Flum both had extensive insufferable conversations D3. Similar to Fox vs Balki? I actually think Bunny Town slipped, but if I am wrong then unsure about Bunny.
Bona and Squig also had long insufferable conversations. Flavius was involved in many long-winded conversations. Was anyone using them to hide?
5. What's up with yoyoyo?

I'll have to look through Eden's duel analysis. But I don't understand his conclusion about pre-duel Dip voters.
Regardless of alignment, I would expect them to keep their vote on Dip.
I don't see how they look good for staying on Dip.

Are you referring to Eden buddying me or sweetandcool buddying President Eden?Foxcastle wrote: ↑Sun Jun 09, 2024 3:45 amIs this not exactly how scum would buddy Sweet?President Eden wrote: ↑Sun Jun 09, 2024 2:36 amNot to spook you, sweet, but I basically 100% trust you right now.

I believe Eden either way, regardless of his alignment.
