Bona’s day yesterday actually is a little weird.

He made several comments clearly indicating he scumread Dip (sarcastically). He made a single post saying he would kill Balki. Towards end of day he actually mostly mentions killing Balki, votes Balki, then jumps to Dip and ties the wagons, and moves back to Balki once it has a firm majority. He also throws in tying and suggests killing both of them.

A particularly weird very EOD statement:



But… he clearly scumread Dip, and said he’d be okay killing Balki! It seems like an ideal EOD based on what he had stated during the day.

Bona can you comment on why you did not like that EOD even though earlier in the day you were basically scumming both of them?

because i hate the idea of a dueler role. one of my main information-gathering methods is vca and it removed that.

the pr claim i read as towny, so i felt there was nothing to do but kill balki. also balki claimed vt, and i then read his last reads as towny, so i thought the PR had blown a day by making it TvT, but both of them irritated me

I guess if you scumread both of them I still found it weird for you to decide the whole thing “sucked,” and at least insofar as what you put down on paper at the time you never changed your reads. But you were unhappy with what was for you SvS. Weird no?

So is your scumread of Flav dependant on Fox being scum, given that the scum reasons you listed were for prolonging or protecting Fox?

no. fox is a player with a large question mark, which town would benefit from having resolved, either through case for town or scum, or through flipping. flav is directly pushing against any attempt to resolve fox's alignment.

Bona is just describing what is happening and not actually making reads. I have big question marks about like 90% of the players lol. Anyway it feels like bona has trapped himself in a stupid argument with squigs that is going nowhere but he is trying to maintain the facade that it is because he is So Smart.
