PE's logic about VCA on Fox is sound, but it leaves out the Battlemaster possibility and ignores pretty much the rest of Fox's play.

It more or less does ignore Fox's play, yes. (I did separately read some of his posts after reaching my conclusion, and I wasn't dissuaded from my conclusion. But I'm sure reading them in that lens isn't the fairest way to handle it.)

What Battle Master possibility do you think I'm not accounting for, though?

Why bona?

An iso of me could reveal this:

To me it looks like Bona is just posting whatever pops in their brain but isn't actually engaging with the game much. This type of play from scum would make sense if their goal is to avoid attention. If that's the case, job well done, because it seems no one has a strong opinion on Bona.

Followed by me arguing with Bona extensively and then this conclusion:

I'm already voting Bona, and have been since start of day. I'm still trying to process his posting yesterday. I think he's shown a bit more of what I remember from Bona in the past, but it lacks a lot of the cleverness and passion that I remember, so I feel like this is more likely scum!Bona here. But since I involved myself by picking a fight, I'm also a bit biased on thinking his argument is weak.

He's certainly still near the top of my POE, and I'm not sure I want lfischl today if we can give PE a chance to do something, so it's either Bona or Jamie for me today I think. I'm also not upset at a Bunny wagon

If mafia knew that both Balki and Dip would flip, then they have nothing to gain by bussing/trying to save/distancing/etc

What was terrible was the wagon on me. It's been pushed since the beginning of D2 my Demon, who is obviously tunneling me.
What was terrible were the other wagons. The fish and ghug wagons were barely better than mine.
What was terrible was the fact that nobody else noticed Bunny or Balki being scum.
My decision to prevent a town kill by forcing a duel between myself and my scumread was entirely reasonable.

It’s sad I missed your bunny remarks within 5 minute. I had a comment before you mentioned it but no one follow up. Think he’ll require another look D3

Bona’s day yesterday actually is a little weird.

He made several comments clearly indicating he scumread Dip (sarcastically). He made a single post saying he would kill Balki. Towards end of day he actually mostly mentions killing Balki, votes Balki, then jumps to Dip and ties the wagons, and moves back to Balki once it has a firm majority. He also throws in tying and suggests killing both of them.

A particularly weird very EOD statement:

Squigs says his play is against his meta rn, and now this? Why wouldnt he be HAPPY
Even taking account that battlemaster is mafia, why would Bona not take the easy dube veryone else was doing that oh this EOD is so bad ahhh
If he GENUINELY believed Dip was mafia then he would of stuck to his guns, not flip flopped when the chips were down, because he KNEW the chips werent actually down and both were gonna die anyways

Ive made a determination, either Bona OR Fox are mafia, they both have been playing very simialarily, that skating style, but both were suspicious yesterday going against their D2 reads when the duel came up.

Fox did it to save Balki(voting for Dip despite the scuffle and suspicisons of Balki)
Bona did it to save Dip(voting for Balki despite thinking Dip was mafia)

But remember we have prediction battlemaster was mafia, that probably happened after damo got vigilante'd....

I'm a bit confused about your case on me. Was I scummy because I didn't commit to my Balki vote, or scummy because scum!Squigs and scum!Balki planned a bus? Shouldn't I have been more committal against Balki if I were bussing for credit there?
