Re: M89: Baldurs Gate Mafia Game Thread
@Flav: I think you're getting really caught up on semantics. I'm sure that Fox has a template spreadsheet he uses for mafia games where it does the POE for him. When he says he doesn't have one for this game, it means he didn't spend the time going through and populating the inputs. So he has a spreadsheet but not for this game. If you read his posts with that sort of lens, they honestly all make sense.
I'm pretty sure HB got killed over not having spreadsheet way back when. It's weird this has come up as a plot point in multiple games now.

Hm, idk maybe not yoyo I guess?FlaviusAetius wrote: ↑Sat Jun 08, 2024 8:08 pmWho would you rather we take down instead? Someone else previously said we dont need to take down a lurker today(yoyozo), plus there arent any lurkers anymore(probably because of the uncovering of the designated mafia role plot)
So D1-->Middle of D2 is important to finding that one out.
Who would Fox be under my theory...maybe a skater I would say what kind of analysis has he actually done without his spreadsheet? I really wanted to catchup until I got to ghug being dead but we are running out of time Im going to look back at Fox and see what kind of analysis he has actually done.
My prediction? NONE
I wanna vote Bunny but that’s probably because my emotions are clouding my judgement.

You can also link the posts if you don't have to make things too long. That said, I'm on my computer now so it's fine (though it's still annoying to open another tab). I just meant as general advice going forward since I'm assuming people don't usually open the attachments.FlaviusAetius wrote: ↑Sat Jun 08, 2024 8:09 pmI dont know how to embed, but yes I can quote them directlyaarodactyl wrote: ↑Sat Jun 08, 2024 8:06 pmNow that I'm finally on desktop, I'm realizing that all the error messages I've been seeing at the end of your posts have been actual pictures. Can you please embed them or use quotes going forward? It seems the attachments are broken on mobile (or at least they don't show previews) so it makes it really hard to read them.FlaviusAetius wrote: ↑Sat Jun 08, 2024 7:54 pm
Here are oyur quotes and notice how I UNDERLINED "heavily implied" meaning I ONLY got the quotes that he literally said spreadsheet(where he LITERALLY said it) he also says he IMPLIED it. WOW. And now Dousing is saying he let this rumor go one for so long this is Fox is so done for this Im sorry Im not letting him live this down until I get a proper explanation

Squigs44 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 08, 2024 7:37 pmAnyway Bunny, my point was that your criticism of others around lfischl is almost exactly the same as my criticism of you around KoP/Balki, where it feels like you bussed KoP and then after Balki subbed you gave them a little bit of time and ended up town reading them and not voting for them day 2 despite them being a wagon.
What you are doing with lfischl/PE seems like the exact opposite, and you are criticizing people for doing what you did with KoP/Balki.
Make of it what you will. My thoughts are my own.

If Fox said this then I would be convinced, the fact that you said this makes me think you are just giving him the benefit of the doubt, which Im not sure I think we should be doing. If not Fox then who?aarodactyl wrote: ↑Sat Jun 08, 2024 8:09 pm@Flav: I think you're getting really caught up on semantics. Re: M89: Baldurs Gate Mafia Game Thread
He had already denied having it. And yes, Fox had made some off handed comments about the spreadsheet, but he never mentioned it as part of his scumhunting, it was all in joking manners, like when he said he changed vecnas name to idiot in there.FlaviusAetius wrote: ↑Sat Jun 08, 2024 8:05 pmwait wait wait you KNEW Fox had no spreadsheet despite him saying he did? Why arent YOU voting for Fox right now when you knew 30 pages agoSquigs44 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 08, 2024 4:56 amI mean, I think that still boils down to a bad assumption from Flav. He clearly thinks that Fox has a spreadsheet and that his posts/reads were influenced by the spreadsheet. So to him, asking for a spreadsheet was akin to asking someone for reasons after they place a naked vote or some similar situation.
Fox has since said he has no spreadsheet, so Flavs obviously in the wrong here. But the question is what's the scum motivation for Flav to demand a spreadsheet vs what's the town motivation? I see you've said it's anti-town, which I understand, but what does scum!Flav gain by insisting for more info from Fox before giving a final read on Fox? And is it inconsistent for a town!Flav to act this way?

I made a long post outlining my thoughts on fish.Squigs44 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 08, 2024 7:31 pmSo Im not correct? I still dont understand who you are trying to scumread here and for what reasonBunnyGo wrote: ↑Sat Jun 08, 2024 7:28 pmI scum read him for showing up EOD2 more aware than ghug was. He staked a pov from nothing.Squigs44 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 08, 2024 7:21 pm
Just so I understand your argument:
lfischl was lurking, people voted him day 2. He was replaced day 3, and those same people who voted him are no longer voting him. Dropping this wagon is scummy.
Furthermore, if lfischl/PE flips scum, its especially scummy, because those people were likely bussing day 2, but dont want to commit day 3.
Is that correct?
He was replaced LATE day 3 and those people hadn’t pushed him once the rest of Day 3.
I made another post outlining my confusion that nobody starting pushing him today.
Those are my thoughts.

Re: M89: Baldurs Gate Mafia Game Thread
For context, I'm strongly town reading him due to his scuffle with Balki. I'm currently in the process of re-reading him (Fox) to see if I'm letting this cloud my read. If it doesn't, I'm going to start looking into the people on him (yourself included) since it's hard to believe someone I'm townreading is such a run-away wagon this far from EOD.FlaviusAetius wrote: ↑Sat Jun 08, 2024 8:13 pmIf Fox said this then I would be convinced, the fact that you said this makes me think you are just giving him the benefit of the doubt, which Im not sure I think we should be doing. Also, weird that the moment I go off Bona and try a Jamie wagon, Bona becomes viable again

Last game he did the shooting. Shot food with the gun food had just given him! Hilarious.

Re: M89: Baldurs Gate Mafia Game Thread
All of the people on the Fox wagon that I townread are scumreading Fox for things that I disagree with on some technicality based thing.
PE's logic about VCA on Fox is sound, but it leaves out the Battlemaster possibility and ignores pretty much the rest of Fox's play.
Flav's spreadsheet case is just wild and chaotic
S&C seems convinced Fox and Balki were doing theater, which I think is possible, but town Fox also gets frustrated there

I think the scuffle is NAI, he could have done that as scum or townaarodactyl wrote: ↑Sat Jun 08, 2024 8:17 pmFor context, I'm strongly town reading him due to his scuffle with Balki.
