Colby believes that Bunny is mafia for a lot of reasons that have to do with Bunny's reactions to Colby. I think there needs to be more; what are those other reasons poeple have posted that you agree with @colby

Correct on me.Foxcastle wrote: ↑Sat Jun 08, 2024 3:11 amThis probably ends up relying too much on meta, but one thing that has to be considered (by mafia and by town trying to figure it out) is whether someone would accept. I don't think Squiggs or Jamie would accept, for example.TheMadMonarch wrote: ↑Sat Jun 08, 2024 3:05 amSpeaking of "town clears", if there was a tadpole, I think we should look towards people we trust (i.e. squiggs).
I enjoy playing as Mafia.
But I bork at the idea of changing teams halfway through.

Your rapid succession of posts seem prepared. How are you replying to posts that are hours apart in a few minutes, jumping back and forth in time, etc.

Not necessarily, because they could utilise that trust to remain hidden as Mafia.Dousing wrote: ↑Sat Jun 08, 2024 3:20 amWouldn't anyone generally trusted by town have more to gain by refusing the tadpole?TheMadMonarch wrote: ↑Sat Jun 08, 2024 3:05 amSpeaking of "town clears", if there was a tadpole, I think we should look towards people we trust (i.e. squiggs).

Bona are you saying Flav and Fox are scum together?Bonatogether wrote: ↑Sat Jun 08, 2024 5:46 ami suppose if you are a strict literalist, that could be the reading you get from what i said, but like i said before - why would town do this? town being stupid of course is possible, but is not an excuse. to spell it out for you, the question 'why would scum do this?' is easily answered with: it kicks up dust around someone people have questions about in a way that prolongs their survival, and if fox is scum (as you repeatedly proposed d2), then that directly is helping a scumbuddy.Squigs44 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 08, 2024 5:41 amHe says he himself won't vote Fox until then. But like... what does scum Flav earn with this?Bonatogether wrote: ↑Sat Jun 08, 2024 5:27 am
dude he posted a big thing about how no possible read should justify an action until we see the damn spreadsheet, which apparently doesn't even exist.
this says 'sure, we can talk - but only after some indefinite point in time'.
My point is that all I'm hearing from you is criticism of the play being anti-town, but nowhere do I hear why this benefits scum Flav OR why it can't be dumb town Flav

I dislike this.Dousing wrote: ↑Sat Jun 08, 2024 3:28 amI'll ##vote flum for nowFoxcastle wrote: ↑Sat Jun 08, 2024 3:25 amI will shortly be logging off for the night, and will not be back until probably just before EOD. I will almost certainly not have time to catch up before EOD, but I hope I will be around.
I strongly encourage people to look at Flum and ask if this is authentically town Flum or if this is a pretty good appearance created by scum Flum. I admit, the thing I am most excited about is pretty tinfoily, and I did semi-randomly pick Flum to see if there was a case. But I think I'm on to something. I don't think we're seeing the interesting, jovial, prone to shitposting Flum, I think he's restrained and not giving us the creative leaps that I recall from town Flum. I also think his push on Bunny is basically finding one significant inconsistency and picking, picking, picking at it until it becomes a miskill.
I will likely be changing this vote later (and then maybe switching back to flum)
Voting, but pledging to change your vote later, significantly reduces the impact of your vote, because it's like you're not really on the wagon.

Bona is just describing what is happening and not actually making reads. I have big question marks about like 90% of the players lol. Anyway it feels like bona has trapped himself in a stupid argument with squigs that is going nowhere but he is trying to maintain the facade that it is because he is So Smart.Bonatogether wrote: ↑Sat Jun 08, 2024 5:53 amno. fox is a player with a large question mark, which town would benefit from having resolved, either through case for town or scum, or through flipping. flav is directly pushing against any attempt to resolve fox's alignment.Squigs44 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 08, 2024 5:51 amSo is your scumread of Flav dependant on Fox being scum, given that the scum reasons you listed were for prolonging or protecting Fox?Bonatogether wrote: ↑Sat Jun 08, 2024 5:46 am

can i make it clearer? big letters, perhaps?
I feel even better about voting bona.

It is fairly standard night patter on this site, Flav. Always try to keep people guessing about you, just a little bit, at night.FlaviusAetius wrote: ↑Sat Jun 08, 2024 10:58 amwhats with these big brain ooo im gonna trick the mafia plays by people, we dont KNOW you are a townie so these things that you do(not just you jamie other people be doing it too) just make us think you are mafia...which is WHAT the mafia WANTJamiet99uk wrote: ↑Sat Jun 08, 2024 10:56 amWhat is scummy about introducing an element of doubt about my previously claimed VT status, during the night?
Why does it make you think I am Mafia?

So you town read Colby?ghug wrote: ↑Sat Jun 08, 2024 6:10 amBut thinking that refusing to allow a tie is scum indicative is town indicative.foodcoats wrote: ↑Sat Jun 08, 2024 1:10 amHmm, refusing to allow a tie isn’t really scum indicative. Someone I think you pointed out with the balki vote their awkward conversations and saying they would veto any attempt at a tie. I mentioned trying to tie it because I felt they were both town which I read wrong. The adamant about vetoing a tie with no further explanation seemed suspicious.

Sweet and Fix probably town with massive egos who I hope get discredited soon.
Aaron is maybe scum because he said I was townish right behind voting me next post.
I have to help someone move tomorrow morning but I should be around before deadline still.

This reminds me of when I was mafia and tried to get wagons on xorxes. Those were heady days.

I don't really want to help the mafia figure out who our PR is if it can be avoided.
I think it's entirely possible the Mafia could have done it. I also think it was pretty risky for them if they had people on the block, and letting the town flip two highly suspected people helps us solve the game faster. I think it's possible town could have done it too, so I don't really want anyone trying to solve based on the assumption that mafia did it.
I want to say good on brain with this design though because the mech talk is literally useless in this design
You get a funny point.
