I do want to ask the question though, why are we asking this? Why wouldn't the 'poled person lie? Or even say they rejected? What does this achieve?

The point is we really want to know if anyone will report anything else. If no doc saves or etc. are reported, then we know someone is tadpoled.

Obviously we don't expect a tadpole claim, except possibly to declare they destroyed it.

I think talking on as many topics as possible is important though, if you dont do that then we dont know what you think on a lot of different things and if we dont know what you think on a lot of different things its hard to get a read out of you. Therefore the read becomes default mafia.
This is the definition of a skater and you should not be a skater. I think you have contributed some essential stuff to the conversation, I think you would provide much more if you started talking on more topics.

I wasn't really I don't think? Ghug was the only one on board with Balki and he placed had a Dousing vote placed before Balki even started talking.


As for Bussing, I mean (from your POV obv) its not impossible. It doesn't really make much sense when you think about it.

Me and him were decently townread, I don't think it does much to to have a SvS fight out in the open when neither of us looked super sus.

I guess it depends on what you think is more likely: Balki decided to bus one of his teammates for no reason or that he saw me as a REALLY easy MK since I wasn't present at EoD.

Case 1) someone was saved or invincible last night. They should claim they were doc saved.

Case 2) someone was given the tadpole. They should claim it ASAP.

Case 3) everyone else: knows they were not targeted with either. Scum already knows it to.

This probably ends up relying too much on meta, but one thing that has to be considered (by mafia and by town trying to figure it out) is whether someone would accept. I don't think Squiggs or Jamie would accept, for example.

Bunny confirmed he saw the Balki death in this location. He also said he didn't know damo or dip died. It is basically impossible to see this area and not see the damo/dip deaths listed right next to Balki's death below.


Which makes it pretty clear Bunny is trying to pretend to be more clueless than he actually is.

Maybe he is using a 300 baud dial-up modem and that part of the page hadn't loaded yet.

I strongly encourage people to look at Flum and ask if this is authentically town Flum or if this is a pretty good appearance created by scum Flum. I admit, the thing I am most excited about is pretty tinfoily, and I did semi-randomly pick Flum to see if there was a case. But I think I'm on to something. I don't think we're seeing the interesting, jovial, prone to shitposting Flum, I think he's restrained and not giving us the creative leaps that I recall from town Flum. I also think his push on Bunny is basically finding one significant inconsistency and picking, picking, picking at it until it becomes a miskill.

its worth noting that if the battlemaster is scum, the votes after D&Ws dual was engaged wont tell us anything. In that case they wouldve known that a vote for D&W is better to look more towny on the flip.

Benefit to scum: they know votes are meaningless and can behave accordingly.

Benefit to town: they clear up D&W for us without using a NK.

Benefit to scum: they get an extra townkilled guaranteed with the power.

But if that’s what they wanted they could have used it D1 to get two town then. Maybe?

Not impossible, but impressively speedy.

This supports the notion that Fox had it in his grudge folder. That is, this stuff from years ago was so seared in his mind he was able to find it relatively quickly, or he literally had some of this stuff saved or something.

Alternatively, it could be part of a coordinated plan with Balki.

Here I would post a detailed case, but not doing that this game probably.

1. if you think he is mafia, then seeing this spreadsheet that is likely being workshopped by the mafia gives us keen insight into what their thinking
2. if you think he is town, then reading his reads are an important part of what would make the case for that
3. if you think he is NAI right now, then this is whats going to move you over the edge one way or the other
4. if you are fox then you talk about your spreadsheet so much, share us the results!

I mean the whole "did he/didn't he look at Dip&Damo's alignment" is so circular and inherently unsolvable that the pair could just bicker back and forth like an old married couple infinitely. All the while they can look like they're being productive without having to harm the reputation of their teammates?

You'll never see the spreadsheet. It only works if scum don't know what I'm looking for in terms of deciding that two players can't be scum together.

Also, FWIW, I'm not doing a spreadsheet for this game. (Well, not yet anyway, it's much more useful later on.) I mean, sure, I've heavily implied that, and maybe I even said it, but mostly, I'm just enjoying how much it's become a Thing.
