Vig, if you shoot MadMonarch and claim, I'll believe that you're town aligned.

He has made 232 posts.
Yet I do not have a strong read on him either.
Perhaps this should concern us.
I am also concerned, on a related topic, that TheMadMonarch has posted only 11 times, and 10 of those posts were during the first half of D1.
@TheMadMonarch are you going to participate, please? You should sub out if you are unable to play.
I've been reading since EOD2.

From memory, Fox works alone on his spreadsheet, then comes back with results. Don't mess with the process.FlaviusAetius wrote: ↑Fri Jun 07, 2024 6:03 pmI said this before and I'll say it again I wont vote Fox until I see his spreadsheet. The longer he delays his spreadsheet giving the more I think he is a mafia. But we should still see the thing, EVERYONE should want to see it.sweetandcool wrote: ↑Fri Jun 07, 2024 12:06 amIt took Fox 33 minutes to make his meta case discrediting Balki.
Not impossible, but impressively speedy.
This supports the notion that Fox had it in his grudge folder. That is, this stuff from years ago was so seared in his mind he was able to find it relatively quickly, or he literally had some of this stuff saved or something.
Alternatively, it could be part of a coordinated plan with Balki.
Here I would post a detailed case, but not doing that this game probably.
I'm not impressed with Fox's day, and his love for voting Dip is![]()
I think he is Mafia, but of course it's possible I'm wrong.
Then again, I'm 100% so far so maybe y'all will listen.
1. if you think he is mafia, then seeing this spreadsheet that is likely being workshopped by the mafia gives us keen insight into what their thinking
2. if you think he is town, then reading his reads are an important part of what would make the case for that
3. if you think he is NAI right now, then this is whats going to move you over the edge one way or the other
4. if you are fox then you talk about your spreadsheet so much, share us the results!

Sup,
FWIW I wasn't tadpoled/in any way... ["Hey Siri, what are some synonyms for messed with?"] /in any way interfered. manhandled. mucked (about or around) butted in or meddled.
Tbh, idk how useful this mass claim is? Anyone who sucks the tadpole won't claim it and anyone who doesn't suck the tadpole would probably say smt imho.
Bunny suggested this right? Could this be busywork from Bunny to gain a false sense of towniness?

I did not get tadpoled or nothin'BunnyGo wrote: ↑Sat Jun 08, 2024 12:48 amActually that’s a great idea.
Case 1) someone was saved or invincible last night. They should claim they were doc saved.
Case 2) someone was given the tadpole. They should claim it ASAP.
Case 3) everyone else: knows they were not targeted with either. Scum already knows it to.
We claim RIGHT NOW to force.
I had nothing happen to me last night. No tadpole. No attack.
I do want to ask the question though, why are we asking this? Why wouldn't the 'poled person lie? Or even say they rejected? What does this achieve?

Maybe the vig wanted some town cred for down the line?Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Fri Jun 07, 2024 10:43 pmIt has been debated. Yoyo certainly thinks it was a scum shot, and Vecna appears to agree.
Flavius and I discussed the fact it was more likely to be town, because Damo was already a leading wagon when he was shot - therefore why wouldn't scum save the vig shot to use on someone else, and just allow the town to miskill Damo?
Re: M89: Baldurs Gate Mafia Game Thread
I kinda like DemonRHK on re-read, though I like Squig’s catch on yoyo enough to think Demon is wrongvoting yoyo here.

Re: M89: Baldurs Gate Mafia Game Thread
I think the people going after bunny for not noticing the 3 deaths are insane. Even before all his excuses of paying attention to other things, if you happened to scroll down enough to see the first line but not further, why would you think to do more?
maybe scum indicitive to be having a go and talking about meaningless shit, to make it seem like you're helping.

Yeah I think there’s something there, also with the thing sweet pointed out about “checked the last flip on the bot” which sweet towns but sounds over constructed to me.Dousing wrote: ↑Sat Jun 08, 2024 2:57 amSup,

The point is we really want to know if anyone will report anything else. If no doc saves or etc. are reported, then we know someone is tadpoled.TheMadMonarch wrote: ↑Sat Jun 08, 2024 2:58 amI did not get tadpoled or nothin'BunnyGo wrote: ↑Sat Jun 08, 2024 12:48 amActually that’s a great idea.

Obviously we don't expect a tadpole claim, except possibly to declare they destroyed it.

Re: M89: Baldurs Gate Mafia Game Thread
In terms of the missing kill. I'm inclined to think it was a save/RB.
If I was a mafioso, I'd push for a later tadpole. The earlier you nab someone, the greater chance they die. Also allows you to get some "townclears".

Speaking of "town clears", if there was a tadpole, I think we should look towards people we trust (i.e. squiggs).

You know if you're doc saved?
Does your doc know?
If you RB the mafia kill, do you get to know?

You'll never see the spreadsheet. It only works if scum don't know what I'm looking for in terms of deciding that two players can't be scum together.
Also, FWIW, I'm not doing a spreadsheet for this game. (Well, not yet anyway, it's much more useful later on.) I mean, sure, I've heavily implied that, and maybe I even said it, but mostly, I'm just enjoying how much it's become a Thing.

People complain about my emoji use, and how it makes bot reading difficult. That's just making me do it more.

Re: M89: Baldurs Gate Mafia Game Thread
This probably ends up relying too much on meta, but one thing that has to be considered (by mafia and by town trying to figure it out) is whether someone would accept. I don't think Squiggs or Jamie would accept, for example.TheMadMonarch wrote: ↑Sat Jun 08, 2024 3:05 amSpeaking of "town clears", if there was a tadpole, I think we should look towards people we trust (i.e. squiggs).

Your rapid succession of posts seem prepared. How are you replying to posts that are hours apart in a few minutes, jumping back and forth in time, etc.
