Early in the game.
Hard disagree, I would use that ONLY if I thought one of top wagons were mafia, and there was a chance one of them werent going to be to be killed
So you disagree with my opinion of optimal strategy. You wouldn't do it. That doesn't mean I wouldn't do it.
Is there any reason you think the mafia would have pulled battle master D2?
You think a battlemaster town would have done it D2 because its early
I think a battlemaster town would have done it if they thought Balki or Dip were mafia

What were the reaosns the mafia would have done it early?
Taking out two town is a GREAT reason, but Balki was defending himself to the bitter end, he had a real chance to not be killed before Ezio flipped his vote. I dont think theres ANY chance that it was a mafia who pulled battle master D2

Hello.

I see there was a gladiator contest between D&W and Balki, and Balki was scum.

Woo for getting the first scumbo.

Why did D&W also die if Balki had more votes?
Do you have any reaction to the fact that Dip basically saved you? You were one of the top wagons D2 before Dip did his Duel
I was like the fifth highest wagon at that moment in time, with two votes on me, and I was offline, so I didn't actually see it take place until after the day had ended.
Potato, potato; potato.

Yeah what was the point of recusing yourself from the duel?

I'd like to understand, even though I assume your answer will be NAI.
I wasn't strongly inclined to scum read or town read one over the other until Balki revealed his martyr act was fake.
What messsage did Balki send that makes you think that?

##Vote Ifischl
@fluminator I see you keep building a case on FIschl in fact you were one of the first people to vote for Fischl after Kak voted for him based on random chance. Why would you do that? Do you also know of Fischl's meta?
I have never seen a game where Fischl wasn't a terminal lurker. Tbh, this is the most active I've ever seen him in a game by quite a margin but it's still not much. And he literally voted Dip an hour before deadline while allegedly townreading him just for survival.

Read Balki's ISO again.

He spent like three short posts playing Townie. After that, he focused on "solving" the game. That's what he spent all of his energy on.

Hardly could that be characterized as "fighting until the bitter end".

scratch that, even with quick reflexes it doesn't make sense mafia to use it. And Balki was genuinely trying to survive still.
It was a town PR.
the one reason could be: tbey really needed D&W to flip town to throw shade on all the other kak reads.

At any rate, it doesnt really matter for now, but therell probably be a puzzle at some point which of the prs was town vs scum

Vecna says Fischl's meta is to lurk until someone votes him then to confidentaly defend himself until he goes back to lurking again and repeat. That tells me that we found the trick to make him not lurk, and you are saying all of that is false?

A DUEL HAS BEEN INITIATED

Diplomacy and Warfare vs Balki Bartokomous
Wait, this was 31 minutes before eod. So mafia would have needed a 1 minute reaction to trigger battlemaster in this case if it was in response to the duel.

So maybe the whole battlemaster thing was decided before the duel?
I agree - I think it's almost certain that the BM was issued before the duel
I agree, and we were a complete mess before the Dip gambit that worked, I think its possible mafia were trying to put the hurt on

I checked the Setup.

There is a PR called a Druid which can perform up to two Doc saves.

Very interesting that some people immediately assumed this did not happen.
Weird flex, but okay.

I immediately thought tadpole after no kill was shown

Remember the theory;
Flum + Ghug + Dip when looked in conjunction their votes what they say everything makes sense IF their a team. Otherwise their townie.
Vecna is saying that Kak might have gotten Dip wrong but the other two were spot on.
My theory is that Ghug was the one that made the MOST sense to take down
1. He had real grounding based on him being mafia and not just this team mechanic
2. He is basically the first domino to fall in this trio

But now I disagree with this cause I just realized the conversation was about the battlemaster and mafia could have ONLY done that if they realized the duel was between Dip and Balki which they ONLY had one mintue to do

What was your original question? I missed it

Vecna's meta case sounds like it might be right but my memory isn't that great. I do remember Fisch usually getting more indignant when I push for his death in other games.

As aaro has pointed out, there are actually multiple possible saves / protectives.

Why is it weird to consider the possibility of a save?

The weirdness was thinking it’s very interesting people automatically assumed the 100% known mechanic compared to the fringe what if’s on PR actions
