Wonder if you can destroy/consume in here AND in the DM, or ONLY can be done in the DMFlaviusAetius wrote: ↑Fri Jun 07, 2024 9:38 pm
There is ZEROOOOO chance the tadpole has to destroy it in the thread lol

You've been flirting with evil too long. You're most likely tadpoled
Scum choosing to tadpole
Scum targeting S&C with it
S&C saying yes

Why bona scum?Col7by wrote: ↑Fri Jun 07, 2024 9:42 pmWell you are my top town read. I honestly think Jamie is town although I have no clue how their play typically is. I have bunny as scum because of dip and the way that flav brushed it off also feels scum to me. I think Vons has merit based on other people’s feedback. It’s hard cause there’s a lot of people to learn right now but here’s my current personal reads
Scumish- flav, bunny, bona
Hard neutral with eye on- glum, will
Townish- squigs, Jamie, grugh (forget exact name sorry)

Ah I see. You were just saying there was at least one role that does it. I thought you meant there was exactly one. That’s my misunderstanding and I agree it’s just semantics.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Fri Jun 07, 2024 9:45 pmSemantics.aarodactyl wrote: ↑Fri Jun 07, 2024 9:43 pmDruid isn’t a role. Those are three different roles under the umbrella of “Druid” which has no mechanical purpose.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Fri Jun 07, 2024 9:39 pm
Druid 0-3
Circle of the Moon: Once per game you may summon a deceased person back into the game thread for an hour. That person may talk but not vote. They will not count toward parity.
Circle of the Land: You may save a person from dying at night, non consecutively.
Circle of the Spores: Twice per game you may force the result at the end of a day to be nullified, and no one dies. The Circle of the Moon Druid must take this action during the next phase after someone dies. That person then can talk for the rest of the phase.
The point is that as we both noticed, there could have been a save.
Yet Vecna, and Sweet, immediately assumed it as fact that the Tadpole had been used, and this was the reason for the lack of a death overnight.
And I agree it’s worth calling out they assumed tadpole given how many roles are out there.
Re: M89: Baldurs Gate Mafia Game Thread
Someone I think you pointed out with the balki vote their awkward conversations and saying they would veto any attempt at a tie. I mentioned trying to tie it because I felt they were both town which I read wrong. The adamant about vetoing a tie with no further explanation seemed suspicious.Squigs44 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 07, 2024 9:49 pmWhy bona scum?Col7by wrote: ↑Fri Jun 07, 2024 9:42 pmWell you are my top town read. Re: M89: Baldurs Gate Mafia Game Thread
Where were you yesterday with this ideology? I still haven't heard why people suspected Dip.
Re: M89: Baldurs Gate Mafia Game Thread
To me it looks like Bona is just posting whatever pops in their brain but isn't actually engaging with the game much. This type of play from scum would make sense if their goal is to avoid attention. If that's the case, job well done, because it seems no one has a strong opinion on Bona.
Re: M89: Baldurs Gate Mafia Game Thread
Wasn't me that pointed it out, and I'm not sure I really agree. It does seems a little awkward, but I don't think that awkwardness correlates to scuminess there, especially since we don't actually know if mafia or town used battle masterCol7by wrote: ↑Fri Jun 07, 2024 9:53 pmSomeone I think you pointed out with the balki vote their awkward conversations and saying they would veto any attempt at a tie. I think the perfect way to describe it is weird behaviorsweetandcool wrote: ↑Fri Jun 07, 2024 4:11 amYes, it's authentic behavior.
I suppose the question is whether Mafia Dousing would think to towntell like this? Or if he would be coached?
I just think Town, but almost certainly not coached if Mafia.
Re: M89: Baldurs Gate Mafia Game Thread
I would’ve liked to seen what they would’ve done in the case of a tie. It’s not def scum if they vote for dip could’ve been a really poor town read but with how adamant they were feels like they felt strongly for some reason we don’t know exactly. Could just be tie=bad which fair we just never found out whySquigs44 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 07, 2024 9:58 pmWasn't me that pointed it out, and I'm not sure I really agree. Hard disagree, I would use that ONLY if I thought one of top wagons were mafia, and there was a chance one of them werent going to be to be killedghug wrote: ↑Fri Jun 07, 2024 6:26 amEarly in the game.sweetandcool wrote: ↑Fri Jun 07, 2024 6:07 amEarly in the day? Why?
That makes no sense. You would use it close to deadline.

What messsage did Balki send that makes you think that?Fluminator wrote: ↑Fri Jun 07, 2024 7:20 amI wasn't strongly inclined to scum read or town read one over the other until Balki revealed his martyr act was fake.sweetandcool wrote: ↑Fri Jun 07, 2024 2:35 amYeah what was the point of recusing yourself from the duel?Fluminator wrote: ↑Fri Jun 07, 2024 2:23 am
I was wondering if someone would go back to this lol.
I'll have you know Dip was ahead in the two wagons when I changed my mind and voted Balki. So I'm basically obvtown now even with that original post.
I'd like to understand, even though I assume your answer will be NAI.

@fluminator I see you keep building a case on FIschl in fact you were one of the first people to vote for Fischl after Kak voted for him based on random chance. Why would you do that? Do you also know of Fischl's meta?
Re: M89: Baldurs Gate Mafia Game Thread
So you disagree with my opinion of optimal strategy. You wouldn't do it. That doesn't mean I wouldn't do it.FlaviusAetius wrote: ↑Fri Jun 07, 2024 10:01 pmHard disagree, I would use that ONLY if I thought one of top wagons were mafia, and there was a chance one of them werent going to be to be killedghug wrote: ↑Fri Jun 07, 2024 6:26 amEarly in the game.sweetandcool wrote: ↑Fri Jun 07, 2024 6:07 am

Do you have any reaction to the fact that Dip basically saved you? You were one of the top wagons D2 before Dip did his DuelJamiet99uk wrote: ↑Fri Jun 07, 2024 9:37 amHello.
I see there was a gladiator contest between D&W and Balki, and Balki was scum.
Woo for getting the first scumbo.
Why did D&W also die if Balki had more votes?
