What does "Resigned" mean at the end of a game?

#1 Post by BaronVonRichthofen » Wed Jun 05, 2024 5:27 pm

I was looking at past games that have happened on the site, and in one game I was watching from 2020 at the end of game screen some players drew, two were defeated, and one "Resigned". I've never seen that before.

It means that when the game ended, they were in civil disorder and hadn't been replaced yet. So, when all players except for one have voted to draw, and the holdout civils, the game automatically ends in a draw.

In these cases the person in Civil Disorder does not get any winnings right? So the pot is split as if there were just that many fewer centers on the board? (in sum of squares).
