I'm not loving the Jamiet wagon taking off after he left, and I don't feel like those votes are well justified.
He's done nothing but railroad a now dead townie by repeating the same joke over and over again, and then his reaction to said townie dying was underwhelming.

He also claimed VT like a weirdo.
I know right? Isn't this the description of a Townie?
Not Jamiet.

He HAS been strange and the VT claim was uncharacteristic.

Please note, I'm very mildly scumreading him. He is just the best wagon right now. Will gladly support a Balki or Fox wagon if it becomes viable.

Alr I'm caught up and have a few things to say.
Thing 1:
I have a new reads list
7x7_blank - with names - Copy - Copy.jpg
I keep going back and forth on damo's alignment though. I feel like I'm missing something.

Just read Dousing ISO. Eek.

##vote Dousing

I hadn't really focused on Dousing until this point, but in the back of my mind I had him sorted as Town.

Reading his ISO, a few things stand out:

(1) He has this take on Fluminator and the tadpole early on and then much of his day is about that thing. Just feels like he may be using Flum/tadpole as a crutch for engagement rather than showing much curiosity or interest in the rest of the game. Then says without trying to be ironic: "I feel like we’re spending 90% of our energy talking about the tadpole. Is there a chance we’re that the tadpole is a bit of a red herring?"

(2) Keeps telling us that he has been reading lots of pages but keeps his focus very narrow on a handful of subjects.

(3) Makes a long post about the various reasons mafia might have killed Kak without really saying anything at all.

(4) Concludes "Foxcastle cooked and made the best argument I've seen this game so far" while not townreading Foxcastle, which seems like just the right note to play as a Wolf, whether partnered with Fox or not, as it further discredits me while taking no committed position on any alignment.

I think this is a good flip.
1. To be fair the tadpole discussion did get a little much, Im sure he was just trying to get us back on track
2. What narrow handful of subjects? Im looking at his Day 1 discussion and I dont see that at all
3. Yea that was sus but someone needed to lay it out for everyone, I dont think it warranted that much of a discussion tho. Kak was obv town, and he had a tunnel on Dip, what reveals most about Kak's team is killing Ghug, something he also wanted to do.
4. Anyone who sided with Foxcastle in that argument you have read as mafia
2. E.g., Flum, tadpole, something about sweet, off the top of my head. Very narrow focus and little curiosity that I could read in their Day 1 posts.
4. It's not "siding with Foxcastle" that pings me there. It's trying to discredit me in a lazy way without engaging with the subject matter. And yes, you fit into that slot as well.

I realized I was conflating d&w and dousing in my head while doing my reading so far. Since dousing has the shorter iso, I reread it and it seems town-ish to me. A lot of what seem like genuine (but bad takes).
You read the whole ISO? What were the genuine takes that you saw?
I’d have to look again to be honest. I think the tadpole stuff and then some argument with flum. And then some discussion about kak’s post? I’ve been doing a random splatter of rereading because way too much has blurred together for me. I also may need to actually for the next hour or so to buy myself time to be around at eod

The idea that people think that out of 2 people chosen on DAY 1, we somehow caught scum is… inspiring. I think we were on the right track towards the beginning of D2 and we should investigate everyone on the Damo wagon.

Assume he's right about my meta. Explain in your own words why you think the argument is validm
If he's right about your meta, then you taking a big role D1 makes you an obv mafia. Kak says your meta as a town is to be mysterious and nebluous whereas here you were insistent you were a town and acting as one of the biggest solvers there ever was with Vecna. This makes me think you were a townie, except for that weird wanna buddy up to solve the game, I can look past that, but according to Kak that is not you. Also he pointed out something I completely missed;
"Ghug's intend to 'try not to solve until day 4' is just atrocious and I doubt town ghug would ever feel that way."

So either your a big solver and thats unlike your town meta
Or you are a solver, and you all of a sudden dont want to solve until day 4

Either way super sus, and Im surprised no one else is paying attention to anything Kak is saying. As I explained, Im not sure Kak is right about Dip or Flum, but everything he pointed out would all line right on you guys as a team, if you were all mafia.
how was anyone scumreading this slot again?

there is no way a scumbrain fabricates this lol
hard disagree

That is a good summary of the things that Dousing spoke about. I am curious why you conclude that the discussions of those points were "genuine"? They just seemed like easy subjects to latch onto when one doesn't have a puzzle to solve, on my reading.

Ghug why are you a wagon

You did nothing to be tr or sr

Wat hapen
He's a wagon because he's voting for someone that I don't think he should be scumreading. 2/3 people on his wagon are me and the person he voted.
Flavius voted him for "pressure" early d2. Never verified whatever crap he wanted to investigate in Kak's history.
(I do think it's more likely Flav is scum too after looking into this. His play reeks to my nose).

IIRC Ghug usually wanted to consolidate d1, or if not move himself he would get others to sheep him onto his read. I didn't feel that happened as much this game. To see him do a similar thing this phase with him dumping his vote onto Dousing? Very sus.
I think today should be Ghug vs Flav.

I guess the good thing about this is that whoever shot is Townclear. No way Mafia makes that shot.

Might as well claim the kill, I think, assuming no powers left.
