Thank God we had a dayvig and didn't waste an entire day on a runaway damo wagon. Can we use this flip to actually get some good wagons going now?

Jamie I'd like to know your Vecna thoughts now?
Fox, is food still scumslipping with town damo?
Um no. Vigs should focus on eliminating the enemy faction. Killing town in order to save time cuts the amount of playing time we have left. We now have one less day to eliminate mafia, Damo could have been a PR waiting to claim until later. The drawbacks outweigh the benefits in this situation.
Damo was widely scumread, so I think it was as good as any shot from a scumhunting perspective. It just came with the fallback benefit of saving us from a useless day of a damo wagon if he were town.
If he were scum, it would have been a fantastic shot tho

Update on mech/setup:
There are, surprisingly, only two vig PRs. One is a janitor, the other is a 2-shot. As damo was not janitored, we can assume that the vig still has a shot left. Take that how you will.

Forgive me, I did not notice this question.

Yes I have.
To me Damo is pretty consistent across all games, so what's different about Damo this time that has you tunneling in him?
I know you’re asking Jamie but I should contribute to this because I agree with Jamie that Damo is obvscum.

Damo’s tonal range is very flat as town. He is “unflappable.” He is more “extremified” when scum. In the past I have IDd him based on jokes, and also illogicalities that he would not make as town, because as town he is exceedingly objective.

Here we have seen him act obtuse and not explain his actions, where typical town damo is incredibly straightforward and direct.
Foochcoats obv town even if he has some hot takes

That would be approximately the chance of a random person being scum.

I dont understand why we HAVE to kill a lurker TODAY. Its like taking a shot in the dark, we just need to do a better job pressuring them to talk
What do we gain by leaving a lurker alive?
What do we gain by leaving an active player alive?
This cold logic always seems to be chastised/dismissed in prior games and I’ll be curious to see if that has happened yet.
Hard agree w worcej here

There are active and inactive mafia, i’d almost guarantee it in every mafia game, plus killing inactives just because they are *inactive* leads to apathy, easy mks for werewolves, an an overall bad town

That was my ted talk, that you and goodnight

Here's my theory: Damo is scum. Foodcoats slipped up an crossposted his "WOOO" to the wrong thread and then tried to play it off. Foodcoats is now bussing Damo to further cover his tracks.
Foxy finally getting spicy
Can somebody point me to the WOOOOOO?

@Squiggs: On D1 I thought Damo was being surly in a way that was going to attract attention, a thing scum don't want to do, so based on that I concluded he wasn't scum.

The foodcoats made his "WOOO" post, and the only way that makes sense to me is if he was celebrating a scum victory in a TvS EOD, ergo, Damo is scum.

Also, while I thought Damo was being too blatant about it to be scum, surly Damo has been scum-Damo in the past.
This is actually a great take

Also there is food, flum, flav, fox

So many F’s!

I think the vig is mafia aligned. From a meta perspective it makes sense since the max total players from setup was 23 and we started with 26.

That's actually town points for Vecna not realizing Kak was one of the highest profile players this game. I think if he was mafia he'd objectively recognize that lol.
or maybe its looking rather poorly on those overestimating the actual influence he was having.

;)
Vecna undoing (or at least trying to) undo towncred is towny

Calling my voters:

What do you think you'll learn when I flip town? I'll tell you. Nada.

If I were scum being so 'obvscum' don't you think my teammates would have bussed me rather than save me.

Fact of the matter is it was TvT and town largely did scum's work for them.

The only contenders for having been saved are Flav and Flum.

If I am the day's miskill then if they survive N2 look very closely at Bona and ghug.
