I dont think its a BAD thing people are cautious about their votes, I agree people need to take posistions; im FINE with that, BUT Id like them to at least understand the arguments behind them first...

ok senor. i don't believe there was any serious arguments, because it was d1, and like all d1s, there was nothing between the shit and the post. everyone here knows that. so, therefore, we must ask: why did so many people spend their time asking for the ironclad reasons for wagons? the possibilities are that people here suddenly had mass amnesia about the nature of d1, or that they were intentionally trying to kick up dust about who was driving what and why. of course, not everyone who did that was wrong for asking - it's a question in many games - but the herd should understand that there is never a super coherent reason on d1. i strongly believe that scum are overrepresented among those asking 'why this wagon', regardless of the towniness of those being wagonned, for this reason. it is not towny to avoid shitposting, in short

I *wish* I could reward Fox's efforts by townreading him but this seems more like annoyance/self-preservation rather than townie behavior; scum Foxcastle and town foxcastle could've made this post.

Really? I feel like they're fairly composed tbh. Also the fact that nobody is really out here vouching for Flavius makes him fairly clean town-read to me tbh

I just type fast maybe that means I come across as flailing but I really wasnt, it was just a stressful situation and things werent consolidating, Flum's wagon gained too much traction without the case actually being fully fleshed out, Dip's wagon wasn't gaining steam, and HB was a bad candidate, so I went for damo and now *cough* some people *cough* will and aaro *cough* thought of me as mafia based on energy and then went AFK...causing a lot of the problems that EOD had.

Ok Ill grant you that its a mafia chip in their hat, who were the people that asked, a bunch of people are rereading EOD, I'd like to know the answer to this question; it might correlate with other things...I still dont think its a bad question to ask and so if thats the entire case against someone Im dismissing it out of hand, they need a lot of other stuff PLUS THIS to say their mafia
Maybe if someone spent their entire time asking for whats the case and not actually making a case or deciding then that is definetly indicative of mafia, no one is THAT indecivisve if they are trying to solve the game

It wasn’t based on energy. But it’s not worth rehashing at this point.

Also besides the miskill, what problems did eod have? Genuinely curious about this because it’s hard to pick up on stuff like that when rereading.

Anyway, I know a few of you have asked me questions. However, I'm feeling frustrated so I'm calling it quits. I'm probably not going over this again so if you want an answer you'll have to ask me again.

Side note: I've only ever played townie games. I wish I could have a mafia's perspective one or two times to REALLY understand how the game is played bc right now I feel like I have *WAY* to many blindspots/I'm just not catching things that y'all are catching

I don’t recall whether I have read you as scum more than I’ve read other players as scum in the other games we’ve played together. Were any of the games you’ve quoted played in the last like, three years? Were there other times in those same games when I read you as Town? It’s been a long time…

I’m happy to be wrong about my read on you here. But the thing you wrote is much more of a distraction than a way to engage with me.

Please talk about your votes in this game. They seem very low impact and low risk. Do you see what I mean about that? What do you think your votes say about your alignment? And I don’t think you engaged with me at all until I voted for you. Why is that?

You also launched into this red-font response after I made what…one or two posts about you? Why not let it marinate? Why do you think you are acting so aggressively defensive in this way?

I am, actually, yeah. I only signed up after you dropped out, because I suspected this would happen if we played together. Because it's happened every other time. If someone consistently made the same attack on you, and it was consistently wrong, and they had the charisma and argumentative power to make it stick every time, I think you'd be frustrated too.

If you are town, I am sincerely sorry you feel that way. I can't say I am confident in my read this game. Candidly, part of the motivation of my vote was to spread out the discussion to be a bit more broad than Damo/Ezio/Dip. I don't intend to "railroad you" and I don't really think it's fair to accuse me of that after voting for you and making one post explaining my thinking.

I think your voting history is consistent with what I would expect from a crafty scum player in this game state, which is what I would expect you to be. But I can also potentially see it from Town!Fox.
