Joke answer: bona because he talked me into this game and if I have to read this much gameplay, he should have to as well
Real answer: problem Jamiet, I get town vibes from him and he usually is good at keeping people solving later in the game

I was just about to bump this because this whole FoxCastle thing is derailing things real quick, why do you dislike it? I like itBonatogether wrote: ↑Thu Jun 06, 2024 3:50 amstrongly strongly dislike this postFlaviusAetius wrote: ↑Thu Jun 06, 2024 3:23 amI see there is this big FoxCastle argument, and I would like to see results from FoxCastle's spreadsheet before any suspicions are laid upon him, I think it'll tell us a lot. The first game I played, I rolled scum, and then my entire scum team was caught, one right after the other, the first four days of game. I went on to win, it was pretty glorious, but then a couple games later, there was another newbie player, and I could just tell he was scum because he was playing the same game I did when I was new. And I was right about that, and that's also what I'm seeing in Sweet.
Rdr, I can't find it, but I know in past games we have done this exact thing before where you say you don't like my play and then I end up town. I can't find the specific post in a previous game where I told you to remember that, but if you message me your address, I will hand embroider a pillow cover that says "Note to Self: I can't read Foxcastle at all and I should stop voting him on Day 1."
Eden, Damo, and Bozo would be where I look after Sweet.
(This is a D1 Foxcastle and there's like seven posts on this day where he tunnels like this)

So him disagreeing with me is something unique to every scum!ghug I have seenFlaviusAetius wrote: ↑Thu Jun 06, 2024 3:52 amhuh? why does that matter, you guys could just be reading the situation differently...or he's working towards an ulterior motive...

This is teh most scummy response you could possibly haveFlaviusAetius wrote: ↑Thu Jun 06, 2024 3:34 amIt was a stressful EOD, I was having trouble catching up in time and had to skip 10 or so pages. I was looking for the slip that wasnt there, HB gave a reasonable response to this and I ended up siding with him in the end and went with damo, after the whole Flum wagon, and then the Dip flash wagon

does a town bungo spend him time arguing over interpretations of rules that cannot possibly matter to any living player? unfortunately, probably yes.

This is how I play. I basically live tweet the game and respond to it as I'm catching up it, I think A LOT of people play it like that, in such a large game its basically impossible to be up to date on it 24/7. Also I know you made a comment that you accused me and now you accuse me even harder because I defended myself. That is VERY backwards logic, and it wasnt just you it was will too, and you both just went AFK after accusing me, so now you BOTH made me a viable wagon at EOD without even being present and all you had was "vibes". I wish you didnt do thataarodactyl wrote: ↑Thu Jun 06, 2024 2:46 am1) if you were vig, I highly doubt you’d be soft claim like this. I’m pretty sure this is provably false but I don’t think it means anything.
2) I don’t know the meta but it seems bad to vig shot here entirely
3) Flavius gives me weird vibes but I’ve never played with them before. Just generally I felt like they’ve had a lot of exaggerated reactions to things.

ok senor. i don't believe there was any serious arguments, because it was d1, and like all d1s, there was nothing between the shit and the post. everyone here knows that. so, therefore, we must ask: why did so many people spend their time asking for the ironclad reasons for wagons? the possibilities are that people here suddenly had mass amnesia about the nature of d1, or that they were intentionally trying to kick up dust about who was driving what and why. of course, not everyone who did that was wrong for asking - it's a question in many games - but the herd should understand that there is never a super coherent reason on d1. i strongly believe that scum are overrepresented among those asking 'why this wagon', regardless of the towniness of those being wagonned, for this reason. it is not towny to avoid shitposting, in shortFlaviusAetius wrote: ↑Thu Jun 06, 2024 3:54 amI dont think its a BAD thing people are cautious about their votes, I agree people need to take posistions; im FINE with that, BUT Id like them to at least understand the arguments behind them first...Bonatogether wrote: ↑Thu Jun 06, 2024 3:49 ammy point is that it makes the whole thing dumb as rocks - if there's a clearly laid out case, voting is taking a position on that case. this d1, people spent more time arguing about if a case existed than about the actual cases. this is posting without positioning, and it's probably difficult to discern anything from it atm. Re: M89: Baldurs Gate Mafia Game Thread
it's externally moving focus on a player being debated from their weak argument, to something presumably something stronger-looking (again, effort isn't inherently towny in my opinion). it doesn't engage with the weak point, but tries to move away from it without resolving itFlaviusAetius wrote: ↑Thu Jun 06, 2024 3:56 amI was just about to bump this because this whole FoxCastle thing is derailing things real quick, why do you dislike it? 3) I was pretty vocal about having a meeting. Unfortunately when I have several hours of meetings a day, 2pm is a lousy eod time.
