Its not a bad idea, and not something I necessarily disagree with, I wouldnt be against going against Flum to keep with Kak's mafia team, I still think Ghug reveals more, and has a better grounding in him being independently mafia

Sweet is confusing me, they seem like their throwing. Admittedly, they said they'd do as much in the signup thread. Either way it's kinda tainting their arguments in an undue negative light.

I just sifted past like 30+ pages and I have a few thoughts.

Kak's death (I'm gonna use Vecna's scenarios bc I like how their organized but I won't quote them individually bc that'd take too much time)

1: mafis killed kak because he was on point too much

- Quite frankly, I don't think this is probable. If D&W is mafia (and I was part of the mafia) I'd rather just assume that town will eventually kill D&W. I'd be more likely to spend my time helping other teammates instead of righting a sinking ship

One caveat: Mafia is *REALLY* unlikely to have seen Kak's megapost prior to killing him. Then again, Kak was already trying to torpedo D&W prior to this.

This seems likely. It's fairly basic logic and for the sake of brevity I'll just say The proof is left as an exercise for the reader.

One caveat: This would imply that D&W is town. tbh, that could be possible. I don't have a clear opinion on D&W yet. Gimme a bit and I'll say smt about this. If not, someone remind me if I break this promise.

Good chance of this, helps that Kak was really useful for the town & nobody was really suspicious of them.

I wonder who the mafia would've killed instead of Kak though? I think this is an interesting enough question that I'll put it in a separate post so people don't overlook it

I think I’m caught up on both work and this game thread. Should have plenty of time to go on my phone at work tomorrow and actually play this game. It’s really teaching me why I should only do 5pm pst eod times.

To be fair, I haven't been very impactful and don't expect to particularly be this game.

IRL means I'm probably not going to focus enough to make a trademark case, that redeems me in the eyes of enough players to keep me alive and catch scum.

My main contribution today will be avoiding a Dip or damo MK

I don't feel much conviction otherwise. I think lfisch or Ezo or good choices. Maybe Flavius actually is a good choice, being a failed flash wagon D1, but I don't exactly scumread them. Flum is probably a good choice too, in context of D1 wagons. But I know he has a history of purposely saying things that make him look kind of iffy (I assume on purpose), so that leads me back to the lurkers or pretty much most players other than Dip and damo.

While Balki is just one vote on me, I'm taking my time to lay this out because Balki has a long history of railroading me. He scumreads me almost every time, he has never actually townread me, and he has been wrong every fucking time except one. So it's disappointing to see that he has learned nothing and is back for yet another round of "scumread Fox no matter what."

NB: I've snipped several quotes from previous games to keep this focused.

Foxcastle is not content to be seen as doing nothing. He is putting in effort to be seen as doing something that looks vaguely like scum hunting. He's just not doing a great job at manufacturing a real process.

That's where my head is right now. Though, I am not at all confident. And I have not ISOed Fox, and I need to do that. But here are the impressions in my mind:

Fox has been sitting back, cracking jokes all the time, super chill. He has sprinkled in comments. He's been around. But he has not been taking stands. Most of his reads have been about gathering information or enforcing policies. He has not taken a stand on anything likely to get pushback. He has not made any scumread on an experienced player who would put him in the spotlight.

He's playing to avoid confrontation.

I made a similar read on him for similar reasons the last time we played together, and I was right at that time. I feel like he may be scum again here.

FWIW - I was very upfront that I'd be shit activity during the first part of the game. There are plenty of miskills to be had in a 20+ player game, but don't play it off that I'm being "different/weird" when I've explicitly explained I will be low activity in the sign up phase.
