Once every couple games everyone gets really worked up over the N1 kill.

Kak wasn't a PR, he's a mediocre solver at best, and he's difficult to solve himself. Let's just take the W.

I don't really scumread Dip, but a lot of people do. Kak has played scum with Dip before, and we know he was town. So why are you so focused on Kak's scumming of Dip in particular?

Because he was wrong, and now people are weirdly sheeping an incorrect read.

I think I'll be sick if we vote Dip. And if people turn on me for defending him then at least I will be out of game and not have to suffer this travesty.

Of the lurkers lfischl seems the best option to me given that their few posts have been inconsistent. It feels like lfischl is lurking by choice and not by being busy.

Lfischl last played in M85 where they were town and not lurking, just wanted to make sure they aren't a serial lurker

Thank you for sharing your preferences for how you’d like to be handled this game. Unfortunately, the lot of us are too busy engaged with the more active players that are contributing to the game than to interrogate someone who hasn’t done much. I’m with most of the others that have voiced that it’s more useful to just pressure those players into talking.

I’ll bite though, what’s your take on Kak being flipped? Can you think of a motivation behind getting rid of him?

Work was busy so I wasn't going to be able to defend the nokill vote like I normally do.
I think HB was the best vote on d1. He made an argument that he was a wagon to save Damo, and didn't push Damo. Making an argument that someone is scum but not acting upon the belief that person is scum is in line with how I view scumplay: making posts for the sake of posts but not actually saying anything.
Sadly I suppose it also lines up with illogical play, which looks like what was the case here.

I don't know what the scum motivation being killing Kak was. Unfortunately there are tons. Based on my memory of meta on the site, Kak was never a high profile target. I would have expected Ghug, Squigs, or Vecna to be the d1 nk.

I *don't* think it's because of Kak's reads. I don't see anything there that seems uniquely him.

I *don't* think it's because he crumbed anything, but I also never think anyone crumbs.

My bet is they killed him b/c he was pretty widely townread and doubted he'd be miskilled.

If he's right about your meta, then you taking a big role D1 makes you an obv mafia. Kak says your meta as a town is to be mysterious and nebluous whereas here you were insistent you were a town and acting as one of the biggest solvers there ever was with Vecna. This makes me think you were a townie, except for that weird wanna buddy up to solve the game, I can look past that, but according to Kak that is not you. Also he pointed out something I completely missed;
"Ghug's intend to 'try not to solve until day 4' is just atrocious and I doubt town ghug would ever feel that way."

So either your a big solver and thats unlike your town meta
Or you are a solver, and you all of a sudden dont want to solve until day 4

Either way super sus, and Im surprised no one else is paying attention to anything Kak is saying. As I explained, Im not sure Kak is right about Dip or Flum, but everything he pointed out would all line right on you guys as a team, if you were all mafia.
