Bunny does seem a bit off, namely I was surprised he “fell out of character” on his bit so soon, which might indicate lack of enthusiasm, and I assume Bunny is the type who likes being town but is not a typical scum enjoyer.
Re: M89: Baldurs Gate Mafia Game Thread
Why do you say this Will?
if Bunny flips scum i think Will is more likely paired with him, for this random “yeah I’d kill that guy” comment. Prep for bus.

Since Squigs hasn't played in a while, I can forgive him.
But what's your excuse for saying this, when you should know that Bunny's bit always lasts D1 and that's it.

Foochcoats I have said similar things about many players but you only seem to call it out when Bunny is the target. Is this just the first one you noticed?foodcoats wrote: ↑Wed Jun 05, 2024 4:05 pmWhy do you say this Will?

GM NOTE
A question was raised about how Circle of the Moon would work with there being a God Thread.
So players are aware, this game features an unspoiled environment upon death, regardless of whether there was a circle of the moon or knowledge role in play. This is mostly to spawn unique dialogue which I feel is often tainted by people spectating with an answer sheet.

I remember not liking some of the stuff S&C did during D1, but a dedicated reread of their iso and I think some of their actions don't make much sense if they are scum, so I'm leaning town there for now I think

I propose after someone has done a major catchup you should post your general thoughts and reasons behind them, that way your catchup actually has some kind of wider purpose

Re: M89: Baldurs Gate Mafia Game Thread
Everyone should make every effort as possible to be there for EOD but just because someone isnt at EOD doesnt make them automatic mafia??? In fact I dont think it says much of anything, just frustrating because things always end up changing thenDousing wrote: ↑Wed Jun 05, 2024 2:33 amHindsight’s 20/20 and at least foxcastle was present unlike you Bunny (I’m aware of the hypocrisy of my statement)BunnyGo wrote: ↑Wed Jun 05, 2024 2:30 amThere was more than an hour left.
Encouraging town to lump up and not have volatility is bad.
ESPECIALLY now we know one wagon was town, it's possible a scum player saying "OH! OH! Town should really get together and stop fighting! Look at me helping! Oh...and don't worry about the lead wagons being town..."

I think Fox is right here, one vote wagons gotta go at the 1 hour or so markFoxcastle wrote: ↑Wed Jun 05, 2024 2:46 amDip says, people need to move onto a few wagons.sweetandcool wrote: ↑Wed Jun 05, 2024 2:43 amHuh? Sounds like you are saying the same thing as Bunny.Foxcastle wrote: ↑Wed Jun 05, 2024 2:40 am
I disagree with this, mostly because I think you're trying to inject "lumping up" into what he was saying and I don't think that's justified. Sure, he said "consolidate," but I would interpret more as encouraging one-vote wagons to find something more useful to do.
Honestly, I kind of scum read you for this, Bunny.
Bunny says, that's scummy because it implies lumping up and lack of volatility
Fox says, it's not scummy because consolidating off of one-vote wagons is better and it's scummy to try to scumread Dip for this view.

It ended DURING D1 and fell off in a weird way.sweetandcool wrote: ↑Wed Jun 05, 2024 4:07 pmSince Squigs hasn't played in a while, I can forgive him.

I cant decide if this was Vecna just misrembering, Bona & Vecna having different interpretations of the same events, or Vecna trying to give a reason to find that Bona is a mafia, based on...nothingBonatogether wrote: ↑Wed Jun 05, 2024 3:11 amthis is fake. i omgused a scum to death on d1 and then tunnelled the cop for the rest of the game.

Re: M89: Baldurs Gate Mafia Game Thread
I think losing Will D1 really hurt their team since the rest were more lurky type players. Really killed their energy. So Vecna really felt the pain and Bona's D1 left a strong impression on him.FlaviusAetius wrote: ↑Wed Jun 05, 2024 4:46 pmI cant decide if this was Vecna just misrembering, Bona & Vecna having different interpretations of the same events, or Vecna trying to give a reason to find that Bona is a mafia, based on...nothingBonatogether wrote: ↑Wed Jun 05, 2024 3:11 amthis is fake. i omgused a scum to death on d1 and then tunnelled the cop for the rest of the game.

Only speculating though, but it's the only explanation that I can think of for him having such a backwards view of Bona's play last game.

Re: M89: Baldurs Gate Mafia Game Thread
Everyone had to take a posistion during D1 by voting...those who didnt should be #1 suspects but there is probably one mafia in that, since there were so few, only 5 one vote wagons(besides kingofpirates)Bonatogether wrote: ↑Wed Jun 05, 2024 3:25 ami read everything and came out with no real reads. my interpretation is that scum were never forced into talking with someone they didn't want to and never got forced into taking a meaningful position there were so many jack-random wagons.Bonatogether wrote: ↑Wed Jun 05, 2024 3:09 ami think there's so many posters that no one is managing to post anything coherent
