Does anyone have an epi pen, I think Kak is having a seizure.
Just let them have the seizure and move things away from them; don't put stuff in their mouth, don't give them meds, don't throw water on them. I guess you could try an exorcism, but at least that won't cause them physical harm, but seems pretty mean spirited.

Vecna knew we'd need another sub; had possibly even suggested asking Balki.

I think this is an attempt at parody.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Wed Jun 05, 2024 10:01 amHello, Hamilton Brian. I am sorry you died.
I tried to get them to flip Damo.
He's obvscum as anyone can see.

definitely parody
Re: M89: Baldurs Gate Mafia Game Thread
Given that day 1 was TvT I suspect most scum sat back and let town kill town while they were off lead wagons. I therefore suggest that tomorrow we concentrate on that group of 11 although I townread Kak so that reduces it to 10. Hopefully it gets furthe reduced overnight.

What are you implying?
Are you implying that Vecna knew KOTP would need to sub out, and that he could only have known that from the scum chat?
Or, are you implying something else?

And also you volunteered to be flipped if Hamilton flipped town.

My point still stands. Mafia benefit the later they use it, so spending a week gimmicking about it serves only as a distraction to actually solving the game. Also good morning!

Re: M89: Baldurs Gate Mafia Game Thread
confused? Why?
If you mean the substitute guess, Vecna made that post before EoD. If you think that Vecna had prior information of a sub being needed, then ok, the time is a bit close, so it might be possible that maf-vecna knew a sub was coming.
BUT, we all saw yoyo's post that he volunteers as a sub, on page 1. That means it is general knowledge that he will be first sub. So maf-vecna knowing a teammember is going to sub out would not expect Balki to come in.
There is a possibility, that maf-vecna knew there were two subs coming from his teammembers, thinking and guessing that for the second spot, someone else would be there, and choose Balki. But he could've chosen other players too, like Kgray.
So I think that was just Vecna posting some stuff from the past, not counting for Balki to sub in. If anything, that makes me think Vecna is more likely town, but rationally, it's just totally NAI.
Or did I overlook anything, an aspect of this situation?

And? Too crazy? Or do we have a Vecna-KingoftheBalki pairing?

what is your opinion between what happened between d&w and myself? Do you believe him? Are you of the thought I'm on to something? Is this possible mafia theatre? Are we both just town spiralling out of control?
Having slept on it; I don't recall him being this out of sorts as scum. I think he's capable of trying something offbase to shake up his game, but I think the more likely answer is he's town that isn't used to not knowing what's going on and needing the patience to sleep on it. He's used to scum knowing D1.
You...I have no idea. I never have a good sense of you.
Well, reading me is a tone thing. Bona is quite good at it, usually he is right. Not always, but very often. I'll also heavy bus when I'm mafia, so technically, it's a good choice to generally sheep my reads/votes; if I'm mafia, it's likely I'm voting mafia. If I'm town, well I'm often wrong in the very early stages, but you still would vote with someone from town in that case.

Re: M89: Baldurs Gate Mafia Game Thread
So you think we have a world where two mafia subbing out, Vecna knowing this before, then guessing correctly for the second sub?
That is very unlikely. We could test that though by voting Balki tomorrow. He said before he would solve the game tonight, so he could leave us with this information, then we proceed to vote him out, confirming either he was lying or he is town, then go from there.
But as I said, very unlikely. I'd put my money on voting D&W out tomorrow
