you mean the game i was scum?worcej wrote: ↑Wed Jun 05, 2024 3:31 amThe Vecna of old is no longer the one we have today.Bonatogether wrote: ↑Wed Jun 05, 2024 3:11 amthis is fake. i omgused a scum to death on d1 and then tunnelled the cop for the rest of the game.
cringe attempt to retrofit a narrative!
After last game, he's almost become bozo-esque and doom-tunnels.
if you actually played the game you might realise that maybe there was a point to my bona statement. just dismissing it to take potshots at me seems hella scummy and kinda tragic

I am not in control of the decisions which may or may not be taken by any Town PRs with killing power.

However, having said that, I would encourage them to kill Damo. He's obvscum.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Wed Jun 05, 2024 10:22 amI am not in control of the decisions which may or may not be taken by any Town PRs with killing power.

That asterisk meant smt at some point in time but I genuinely forgot. Broadly speaking I think I was going to put a ceveat like “I get a feeling from sweet but only that if a Vecna supporter and not an independent player?”

I tried to make a spreadsheet. The idea lasted about two minutes until I gave up. I am bad at spreadsheets.
The point is to create a Process of Elimination (POE) machine. List out every possible scum team, and then find ways to eliminate (or downgrade the likelihood) teams. So you can now eliminate all teams with HB. Once we flip scum, you can eliminate all teams that do not include that person.
Identifying pairs that cannot be scum together is the best way to eliminate (or downgrade) teams from consideration. You can also do triplets, but that's slower going (but definitely useful with a 5-person mafia team).
SUMPRODUCT and COUNTIF are your friends, and be ready for nested statements (mine tend to go about 3 levels deep).
Lots of rows.

I’m not sure how much I agree with that sentiment though. Sweet’s decision to shade Bunny seems organic and it doesn’t feel like smt a mafia member would come up with? Sweet seemed to like bunny and then not like bunny, I feel like scum sweet would’ve just picked one and not seen a reason to switchDousing wrote: ↑Wed Jun 05, 2024 10:28 amThat asterisk meant smt at some point in time but I genuinely forgot. Are you sure? I don't think you're playing with a sense of investment. I think your vote, and continuing vote, on me is a lazy play. As mafia, I think you'd be doing more. As town I think you'd be doing more than latching on to the easiest kill. This isn't like you, or what I've come to expect from you.
I'm lazy => town
Ham you are hedgy as town but as scum you flail.
You are today's kill.
Goodbye.

@Jamie are you also impressed by the following?
@Squigs, do you see it? Am I just overly paranoid here?

I might’ve switched up Webdiplomacy with I-love-tadpoles dot com. I still feel like the tadpole is an interesting but hard mechanic that resists an easy solution to deal with it:Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Wed Jun 05, 2024 6:09 amWhat gives you that impression?
It does not appear to me that 90% of posts are about the tadpole at all.
Are we both reading the same thread?
Re: M89: Baldurs Gate Mafia Game Thread
I bet this was unintended. Very funny.BunnyGo wrote: ↑Wed Jun 05, 2024 1:23 amSerious take: Don't use an epipen on someone having a seizure! It won't help, and there's a (small but real) chance you could kill them.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Tue Jun 04, 2024 8:57 pmDoes anyone have an epi pen, I think Kak is having a seizure.Kakarroto wrote: ↑Tue Jun 04, 2024 8:55 pm
you have to do this on purpose, no one in their right mind can just think that. WHERE, WHERE WHERE WHERE THE ABSOLUTELY §)(/"§="(=§(/=$! DID I EVER PUT THAT THOUGHT TOWARDS EVERYONE! I pushed that question back to Flum, as stated multiple times before, to show him. WHERE CAN YOU EVEN GET THE IDEA I WANTED ANYONE ELSE SAY WHAT THEY WOULD DO WITH A TADPOLE!?! Seriously, point that out, coloured in, where you think I suggest that to anyone (except flum, since I wanted to mirror it back to him)
Just let them have the seizure and move things away from them; don't put stuff in their mouth, don't give them meds, don't throw water on them. I guess you could try an exorcism, but at least that won't cause them physical harm, but seems pretty mean spirited.

I guess one of the PR roles lets you force a non-participating user into the game against their will
(Tbh, if someone honestly told me that I’d unironically almost believe them

I think D&W is crazy.Kakarroto wrote: ↑Wed Jun 05, 2024 7:46 amimagine reading all this and the only thing you take out of it and comment on is to flash wagon sweet.BunnyGo wrote: ↑Wed Jun 05, 2024 1:07 amHad I not been in straight meetings and not reading I'd have joined to try and flash sweet.DiplomacyandWarfare wrote: ↑Tue Jun 04, 2024 8:33 pm
First of all, Fluminator being absolute exalted is a joke. My serious read of him is neutral moral. Fluminator.
Second, note kotp agreeing with me and rejecting your scum-benefitting 'lets all reveal if we would accept a tadpole' proposal
Third, its a light townread. Chill. It's not like I'm calling kotp absolute exalted
Fourth, Fluminator started a list of people he would, and would not, consider wagoning D1. You turned that into "would you accept a tadpole".
Fifth and finally, I agree that I may have gotten a bit carried away with wagoning HB. However, the HB wagon is better than either the damo, lfischl, and fluminator wagons.
Hmm. Maybe we should flashwagon sweet.![]()
what is your opinion between what happened between d&w and myself? Do you believe him? Are you of the thought I'm on to something? Is this possible mafia theatre? Are we both just town spiralling out of control?
Having slept on it; I don't recall him being this out of sorts as scum. I think he's capable of trying something offbase to shake up his game, but I think the more likely answer is he's town that isn't used to not knowing what's going on and needing the patience to sleep on it. He's used to scum knowing D1.
You...I have no idea. I never have a good sense of you.
