Last game he got speedwagoned while afk for last few hours of day.

Which players are you having the hardest trouble telling apart?

Which players have you not noticed/registered/remembered anything about?

Which players do you vibe the most with (either in reads/content or just tone/posting style)?
I know these questions aren’t directed towards me but there genuinely fascinating so I’ll take a crack at them (and hopefully let people get a better grasp of me). I’m not gonna answer then one-by-one. Instead I’ll answer it more holistically.

Off the top of my head, I can remeber having a good feel for:
Foxcastle, Vecna, Jamie, Kak, Sweet*, HB, Flum, Flavious, and Damo

D&W, Squigs, Ghug, Bona, and Will are interesting because they have clearly posted a substantial amount. However, I don’t really recall reading anything impactful from them? There is a very high chance that my gut feeling is wrong: I’ve been skimming quite a few of these posts and my memory is far from perfect. But regardless, that seems interesting to me.

As for vibes, weirdly, I feel like I haven’t really “worked” with anyone so far (town-coded btw). Obviously, I quite like Flavious for seeing the merits of my anti-Flum line of thinking. And, doubtless, there are other moments in which I’ve aligned with other players (which I can’t be bothered to prove) but my point still stands that I’ve never been working in lock-step with any player so far.

Yeah we did, but it was quite a while ago.

Most likely you remember me when you made me switch my vote from Eden to KoalaAttack: http://webdiplomacy.net/contrib/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?p=337604#p337604
You're confusing me with snowy?!

I'll take it!
Omg I somehow did lmao. Somehow you and Snowy became synonymous in my mind lol

Prithee give unto us thine thoughts, knave.
I really have to pee.

I should probably get up and go do that, but I'm SO CLOSE to finishing catching up and being all caught up....maybe I can just push through.

I'm having trouble keeping all the bickering and yelling and conflict straight.

But:

Sweet feels bad
D&W seems crazy
damo seems cranky; this is NAI and probably says more about his rl status and whatnot than in game
I'm glad Squigs is here
kingofpirates seems absent and needs a lot of pressure tomorrow
aaro seems null; certainly not towny
food...you've said a lot and I have no read on you at all. Which disturbs me. Needs an isolated read at some point.
sh** really gotta pee.
Really need a shower too, was a sweaty bike ride home.

if Just is scum, he's intentionally played D1 differently
I wonder if the daychat is useful for hunting scum.

ghug seems off, but not necessarily scummy...just off.

I dunno...I'm looking forward to this game getting winnowed out a bit so I can reread and go on more than vibes.

I like the idea of you two teaming up and solving this game.
Does anyone else find this sentiment from Sweet odd?

If Sweet continues like this I’m gonna start advocating for voting him up. EVEN IF he is a town, if he can get sheeped this easily he might as well just be mafia.
Vecna and ghug are in my eyes the two best solvers we have. So if either or both of them are town, and given ghug expressing approval of Vecna's read of the gamestate, then I think them teaming up would be a dream team type of situation.

I think normally they are at odds? So normally a team up is not plausible.
Hm, I see your point and I actually am inclined to agree.

I just don’t like how enthusiastic you are about a Ghug/Vecna duo? I suppose this support is so explicit it loops back around from scummy —> towny. ie: a mafia Sweet would probably not be acting this way because it looks so blatantly sheep-prone

I guess that brings up a WIFOM situation where one could argue that you *PLANNED* to looks so overtly scummy in a bid to look towny but I wouldn’t buy it because it (as in: looking overtly scummy to curry favor with the town for the entire game) seems like a short-term solution to a long-term problem

Oh, that's interesting, I missed this before. I would actually say this catch by Jamie is a scum point for HB. It suggests the lists were prefabricated and re-arranged and something got missed in the spellcheck.
YOOOOOO THIS IS A SCUMSLIP BY HB
Is Flavius powerwolfy as scum or is he just town here?
This is the town!flav I remember. I have no memory of any scum!flav games.

@food: I'm holding it longer...gonna catch up.

We need to consolidate. Only half of the players are voting for the top three wagons, total. All the 1-vote wagons (kotp included because he's currently voting himself) need to go. And NO TYING.

Like I'm beginning to think there's a language barrier here and why I asked if you lived outside of North America.
EDITED?!?!
He got scolded already
I saw that when I got there.

Can't tell if Dip and I just see the world differently due to playstyle or if my tinfoil Dip and Ghug scumteam is true. Either way it would take a lot for me to day 1 vote for such an active player. They'll continue to incriminate themselves if they actually are scum
That tinfoil is interesting.

This isn't the scum!Dip I remember though. This Dip seems....confused and wanting to DO something, but has no idea how.
I am begrudgingly coming around to the idea Dip is Town telling by flailing about in the manner he has.

Though it could be coached :P
No...that flailing isn't coached; it's too crazy.

It's either Dip being chaotic town, or Dip being uncomfortable scum.

I have no memory of scum!flav to compare to.

I think dip=crazy is just because we are seeing his first Town effort. It's really hard to actually be a good solver on your first try. Incredibly hard. And if, despite your inexperience, you decide to talk lot and push ideas, you tend to look pretty bad and crazy. Which is what we are seeing from Dip.

I think if Dip was Mafia, then the difference in his play could be accounted for by coaching. But if he was coached, I doubt he would be coached to act in this manner. He would look fake and crazy, rather than mostly just crazy.

This at least I can agree with. I trust Vecna here.
@sweet and Dip:

Why did you trust Vecna?
I don't know if Vecna has ever realized this, but I am practically on board with all of his takes when we are Town. Vecna must be Town this game because almost everything he says so far makes sense to me.
IIRC wasn't he scum just last game and you were on board with his takes then?
