Brain - All the questions you are asking would be answered if CJG was cult leader. That's why everyone else thinks CJG is leader.
I dont think everyone thinks that at all. A number if folks think im cult ldr but not neph.

Regardless, there is only two options I see for lynch and that is Neph or Brain, period. One of them is a leader.

Only way it isn't is if the GMs would not say that a cult LEADER has died. ##call GM, is the death message for a leader and a cult member the same?
##ANSWER
I would send the same announcement for Cult Leader and Cult Follower
(sorry I missed this)
This is big and invalidates my theory of Brain and Neph. I'll hope the Mason's also realize this as well...

Samuel Paris (damo666) knocked on the door, hidden in the shadows down that street. You know the one. But Samuel had been challenged lately by his reading of Psalm 157. He had not been advancing God’s kingdom enough. He had been too quiet with all this witch stuff happening. He had to bring blessings to Salem. And not just to the people who were regular attenders at prayer meetings.

And this dark street visit was the result. These people were not the usual seekers of blessing.

The door opened slowly… and Abigail Williams (Nephthys) appeared in the doorway. She was surprised to see him.

“May I come in? I have good news for you…” Paris waved his Bible a little, assuming the book would calm Abigail.

“I’d rather you didn’t…” she said. Her voice little more than a whisper.

Samuel Paris could see into the room now. Abigail had not been alone. He could see Susanna Walcott (Foxcastle) trying to hide behind a Christmas tree.

Samuel Paris felt his indignation rise. Christmas trees? In OCTOBER? And Christmas trees??? We puritans despise the worldly holidays!

Paris gathered his thoughts… and uttered a chant… the one that he had memorized for just such a suspicious time as this:

“You haven’t sneezed, but still I bless,
May you be mov-ed to confess!”
He waved his Bible again.
“YOU HAVEN’T SNEEZED, BUT STILL I BLESS,
MAY YOU BE MOV-ED TO CONFESS!”

Abigail’s eyes glazed over. Though her hands (covered in Christmas cookie dough) reached out to block Samuel Paris, his words effected her.

Her head exploded.

And so did, Susanna Walcott, hiding in the back… the recruit of Abigail…. And her death caused HIS death, too.

Nephthys has died! He was Abigail Williams, cult leader.
Foxcastle has died! HE was a Susanna Walcott, cult recruit.

The Mason (as Templar) blessed a cult leader, and so the cult leader and his recruit were therefore killed.

TOWN HAS WON… THE CULT IS DESTROYED.

Sorry guys, I really didn't realise how much time this was gonna take to play properly. I was unable to really put more than 2 hrs in a day.

I will say though, it makes it incredibly hard to start as a new player when you consistently get brushed off and ignored cause no one knows your meta. Surely it would be better to engage them and push for slips. I made so many scum slips it was painful.

That being said I had fun and would be keen to do some more over summer when i actually have time :)

You honestly did fine. You're right, being new does hurt a little on that because I am actively digging through posts and analyzing how people are playing to see if they are slipping - you don't have any record, so anything you do could be just normal play.

I'm glad you got the hit in damo because you were super obvious in leading the lynch on CJG. You were the only one who as Mason would have targeted RHK over CJG the night before. And then you come out townreading RHK? Yeah I knew you were mason but tried to mask it by calling you a good leader. You played really well this game with solving and being participatory.

You played well, you just got put in a bad position with the way people pushed that made it so that almost everyone else was towncleared. I did call you out on a few scum slips and then you snapped back at me and made me feel bad haha.

Also, BB was actually just really lost that game?? This was a bizarre game from him, and I thought he was cult at the end there. Sorry for some of things I said to you BB, I totally thought you were cult trying to get in my head.
