Also the possibility that a tadpole sent to a town PR could fail brings up a weird alternate universe where the mafia could've used the tadpole to figure out if a person was a town PR or not (ie: the mafia would know a person was a town PR if the tadpole failed)

We are all familiar with Jamiet, I believe.

He is the only one being unpleasant, and no, this is not my normal expectation from him.

I think it's perfectly sensible to speculate that someone might have certain information because they're scum, even if that's likely to be wrong a good deal of the time. So, request denied.

Also, I dislike this post. It's too general, talking about why "this stuff" is stupid and tacking D&W on tangentially rather than assessing that the approach is stupid specifically for D&W's case. It's like it's defending D&W without defending him, and the self-deprecating promise to do better seems like an attempt to garner sympathy.

I think Flum didn't say the assumption he thought he did; then he went out of his way to point it out to us that it was there...but it wasn't. These mind games SEEM as if they are from the Ilithium.

But, one must be cautious. I think that were Flum actually Ilithium, he'd be much more cautious. In fact, in that exchange, I think Sweet seemed the more suspicious.
