What if, in an effort to not make this a shitshow, there wasn't a "highest poster" contest...

Apologies for my brief absence, friends. I was waylaid by a particularly loquacious NPC who shared some fascinating tales. On a brighter note, my sidequest was a resounding success. However, it seems my path is not yet clear; I have two more sidequests to attend to before I can rejoin you all. I appreciate your patience and look forward to our continued endeavors."

Someone did. Probably Flavius.

My point stands.
Yea that was my fuault I was trying to shorten someone's quote to only respond to particular part, and to not flood the chat but I did it wrong lol
Snipping considered harmful.
Moderately so, yes. It's not worth voting someone for and definitely not worth endvoting someone for.

In Jamie’s 3P game recently I chased postcounts and got to 1000. It just fuels apathy and a willingness not to read any of your posts

if that is your concern, as far as I understood, voting "no-kill" in this game does NOT prevent you from being modkilled. The phrasing is:

You must vote at some point during the day for a LIVING player, you may end a day unvoted as long as you voted for a LIVING player at some point, you may vote no kill provided you voted for a LIVING player at some point. You may self vote, this will count as voting a player.

please check page 1 or the GM for this.
Oh damn, nice catch, I didn't see that. alright then, I shall ##vote kingofthepirates (self voting is always fun :D). I know I'm safe (safe as in town), and I'll still be keeping up, seeing if anything new comes out, and voting accordingly, far to early to definitively say anything.
As astra per amorem

Hey Kak I have overtaken you in posts
congrats, neither do I use the bot, nor do I strive to be top poster on count

I do, however, like if my characters/words per post are one of the highest. That's usually a sign that I have much to say about different subjects inside the game. Or write a lot of flavour. Both a positive.

I do find it kind of interesting that Dip knew that the janitor role here learned the role of the target. I don't think that's usually the case here on WebDip. So either he read the whole setup and has a great memory or he has a reason to know that particular detail.

Or you do long analytical posts that you can proofread easily instead of stream of consciousness posting or back and forth discussion which can be much more insightful

He plays games on MU now as well so there is always the chance he learned it there

Hm. I don't know what would be standard on MU.

Actually, it's because I read the setup.
