Normally my style is to shitpost and spam at the beginning, but with 26 players and 24 hour phases we all have to be on better behaviour now. These first few days are going to be hell.

Hello to all the newer players I haven’t met yet but I’m not going to be able to get to know you in time lol.

Since 24 hours makes this even more of a gong show the first vote will likely be random so I’ll throw out a couple names for consideration to murder to get things started.
1. FlaviusAetius – Aetius has some epically cool moments, but for the most part he was overrated. Although it’s true his assassination triggered the beginning of the end of Rome, he shoulders a lot of the blame removing all other competent people in the first place so Rome had to rely on him. I was always more of a Stilicho fan.

FlaviusAetius lived in a time where every general would rebel basically habitually, it was a problem of the late Roman Empire that had a lot of entrenched reasons that were difficult to fix in a time of crisis.
Many of these rebellious and officials were not incompetent, rather they posed a potential threat to Flavius' system he was trying to set up, they needed to be eliminated.
Flavius' real genius was in him playing off all of the Germanic Tribes off of one another, successfully containing to them, and weakening them all. He created the framework for someone like Majorian to pick up the pieces and have a real chance at restoring the empire. Maybe if he wasnt assasinated he himself could have done that who knows.

As to your question about whether we should be posting nonsense. I AGREE! The focus should be on getting people to talk and lots, its the only way we have to actually find if someone is mafia and to gather info. To those who are not talking, I have opinions about them but I save that for day 2 before jugdgements...
