2: Canada
This is what I had in mind (residents of Detroit area, Windsor area, or regular crossers of the Ambassador bridge would not consider this trivia)

for number 1, my geography minded friends have humbly submitted Kyrgyzstan as the final nation. Took them a while of puzzling to figure out that one.

number 2, the answer my group has submitted is Canada, my friends throw around this bit of trivia pretty often. note: I've always doubted this, so we decided to check this one. upon checking google maps, it seems that there is a tiny sliver of Detroit as defined on google maps that does NOT lie to the north of canada. very roughly, it seems to be north of Cuba, but that is kinda sus.

number 3, my friends and I are split: colombia, ecuador, peru. we have not checked this one. I lean colombia personally, it seems to cover more of the north border of south america than the other 2.

number 4, we are all stumped. suggestions have been made for: state intersections, various islands, and DC (DMV pride on that one lol).

Glad you and your friends had fun puzzling these out. My intended answers are now flagged above (and Kyrgyzstan is the correct 4th country)

dang, number 3 was tricky! nice one with that. DMV pride is now ranting abt DC statehood (51 aaaaany day now, trust). btw, this is what google maps says detroit is, and there does seem to be a bit on the left that sticks out.

I think I found three more solutions: Elwood, Kansas, West Alton, Missouri, and Bettendorf, Iowa should qualify. See https://maps.app.goo.gl/cHbKkrHDsA9byEgW7, https://maps.app.goo.gl/uQYqPWJi2zoxEsSS9.

- All three are cities.
- There are places inside the city limits of Elwood, West Alton, and Bettendorf (though not their entireties) where you can go any of north, south, east, and west to hit Missouri, Illinois, and Illinois respectively (thanks to nice oxbow lakes and general river meandering).

Last year instead of listening in class I decided to do the country quiz on spot for until I memorized the whole thing. I ended up by being a big Kiribati fan by the end of it.

Oooooh! Great finds!

I really like the shape of the river/border around Elwood. The airport in Missouri to the north of it clearly has part of the runway that would qualify too.

Ok...to exclude these, I'd need to say "the whole city" as it just seems to be one part for each of them. Whereas, I believe it is true for the whole of Stamford.

You're right! Most of it is north of TN, but some small pieces ar north of MO first.

Unsurprisingly, this group is great to have strange geography shapes pointed out to me.

All roles have been sent out. If you did not receive a role please let me know.

If you wish to submit thoughts to the God Thread, please send them to myself or dargorygel.

As a final note, the mafia was shown examples of how a town PR role PM would look, as well as what the Vanilla town role PM would look like.

A generic mafia PM would say

You are a member of the Illithids, you win when the Harpers are eliminated. Each day you must vote for a living player in this game. At any time you may meet with your mafia teammates in the Illithid Chat. This chat will always be open.

There is no pregame chat
This thread is now closed, any additional questions, remarks, concerns or inquiries may be directed to dargorygel or myself.

Game begins at 4pm central tomorrow, please cease discussion in this thread.

GM Note: with 24 hour day phases the game is likely to go too fast for people, not too slow. No additional kills or intentional fudging of what is in play will occur. The setup is as it is and will remain as such.
Wait what? 24 hour day phases????
