Or it would be sweet.
Or it would be jamie.
Or it would be king.
I am in a state of utter uncertainty. VCA is somewhat meaningless. The hyposcans are meh.

Re: Mafia 88: Murder at the Meadery - GAME THREAD
Bozo picking apart the changes that led to the resulting votes.
I think there would have been more than 1 mafia on Just's D1 wagon. That leaves a pool of bona, sweet, and king. King and sweet, before the flips of vecna and Dip were 2 suspicions of mine that I raised. WE now know that there are 3 people out of that pool where 1 in 3 are mafia, or 0 out of 3 are mafia. In the case that it's 0, then that leads us to jamie or bozo as the other 1.

For D2, WWe know there wasn't a bus on rivera because that vote was balki.
Was rivera's vote on bozo a bus? An early one given rivera was being called on to support things IRL?
How often do mafia wind up on the lead wagon? I'm not going to do the digging around of other games to find out; I don't have that time. If it is a substantial trend, then that would point us to jamie, king, sweet. Jamie didn't return to that wagon on D3, instead went to bozo, so could that remove jamie from the pool?
Bona was on sweet subsequent days and not really letting go. Steadfast for a reason?

Re: Mafia 88: Murder at the Meadery - GAME THREAD
Day 6 VCA tells us nothing because D&W was treated as a guilty scan.
Day 5 VCA tells us nothing because Vecna was treated as a guilty scan.
Day 4:
worcej (7) - Hamilton Brian, kingofthepirates, sweetandcool, Jamiet99uk, Balki Bartokomous, Spartaculous, worcej*
sweetandcool (4) - DiplomacyandWarfare, Vecna, Bonatogether, BunnyGo
Bonatogether (1) - bozotheclown
Day 3:
Lord of Words (5) - Spartaculous, damo666, Hamilton Brian, sweetandcool, DiplomacyandWarfare, BunnyGo
Hamilton Brian (4) - worcej, Bonatogether, Lord of Words, kingofthepirates
bozotheclown (2) - Balki Bartokomous, Jamiet99uk
worcej (2) - Vecna, bozotheclown
Day 2:
Lord of Words (5) - Jamiet99uk, kingofthepirates, sweetandcool, Spartaculous, Hamilton Brian
bozotheclown (5) - DiplomacyandWarfare, ghug, BunnyGo, damo666, worcej
sweetandcool (3) - Bonatogether, Lord of Words, Vecna
Vecna (1) - Balki Bartokomous
worcej (1) - bozotheclown
Day 1:
JustAGuyNamedWill (7) - sweetandcool, Bonatogether, DiplomacyandWarfare, kingofthepirates, worcej, BunnyGo, ghug
damo666 (3) - Spartaculous, Balki Bartokomous, Hamilton Brian
Bonatogether (3) - JustAGuyNamedWill, Jamiet99uk, Vecna
Spartaculous (3) - brainbomb, bozotheclown, foodcoats
sweetandcool (1) - damo666
NOTE: For ease of review I have substituted D&W's name for Rdrivera2005 even though the D1 and D2 votes were cast by Rdrivera. It's the same slot.

The confirmed mafia (2) that were on bona on D1 is interesting. Was that a bus or was that mafia knowing bona is town, and feared something about bona's play? But if that's the case, why wasn't bona ever the result in a NK?

Observations:
In the first four days Bozo never ended up on the wagon that flipped. His EoD vote was on confirmed town on D1, D2, and D3.
In the first four days Sweetandcool always ended up on the top wagon.

If Bona is scum this would mean *all* the scum were bussing on D1.Hamilton Brian wrote: ↑Fri May 17, 2024 1:28 pmThe confirmed mafia (2) that were on bona on D1 is interesting. It's actually quite annoying Bozo stayed off the main wagons each day.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Fri May 17, 2024 1:29 pmObservations:

You think after rdr bussed Will into tied first with damo, that Vecna decided to also bus, supporting Bona as the main counter wagon to a Mafia wagon?Hamilton Brian wrote: ↑Fri May 17, 2024 1:28 pmThe confirmed mafia (2) that were on bona on D1 is interesting. That's nonsense. Pretty sure Mafia does not prefer to setup Mafia vs Mafia situations. Bona is Town, klar.

I'll have to look at it again, but anything is possible.sweetandcool wrote: ↑Fri May 17, 2024 3:25 pmYou think after rdr bussed Will into tied first with damo, that Vecna decided to also bus, supporting Bona as the main counter wagon to a Mafia wagon?Hamilton Brian wrote: ↑Fri May 17, 2024 1:28 pmThe confirmed mafia (2) that were on bona on D1 is interesting. Re: Mafia 88: Murder at the Meadery - GAME THREAD
D4 was a lot tighter than it looks.
It was 6-5 until in the last minute worcej self ended to avoid a tie.
Momentum through a lot of that day was against me, mainly due to Mafia (Dip, Vecna) throwing their full weight against me.
It seems Mafia really wanted me dead, which seems like an odd choice if I was their teammate. Since I was barely in contention otherwise. Bunny hates my wagon but voted against me because he preferred to keep worcej alive.
Bona was the only Town player who supported it.

But there is way too much evidence supporting the idea he is Town, so it doesn't matter.
sweetandcool
Bona
Bozo
Jamiet
All Town.
Leaving Pirate and Ham as candidates for Mafia.
And I really don't think Pirate is Mafia.

Why do you think they're not? Why do you think I am? What's the strongest case you have; I mean airtight. What's the flimsiest?sweetandcool wrote: ↑Fri May 17, 2024 4:09 pmYeah, I think so.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Fri May 17, 2024 3:48 pmIt is annoying.sweetandcool wrote: ↑Fri May 17, 2024 3:19 pm

I'm asking you because it seems to be you really pushing for this and I want to make sure that if and when town vote me out, they're committing to it with the knowledge you're providing.

Throughout today and yesterday I have provided plenty of evidence for these conclusions, so just look through my ISO.
You could argue that the volume of evidence I have for Bona being Town is low, but its quality is quite high.
You could argue my evidence for Jamiet being Town is lacking, but I personally find the fact that Mafia RB Balki over me is extremely compelling evidence Jamiet is not on the scumteam.
Otherwise, it's very well documented.
I have not, however, built much of a case against Pirate, for or against. You could help with that case, because I think that is the most plausible alternative to yourself.

Re: Mafia 88: Murder at the Meadery - GAME THREAD
In summary, I suppose my flimsiest case is Jamiet, but not by much at all.
My strongest case is obviously Bona, though Bozo isn't far behind.

If we're throwing ideas out there, is king hiding away being that last one on a mafia team and unsure how to progress?

But sweet I was actually asking you to present the strongest case on me and then present your flimsiest case against me.
I think it's easy to get caught up in focusing on the ONE to the exclusion of other players.
I am struggling with some of the other conclusions you've made.
