Excellent game by the cop, and a well executed role swap.

So Bona then?
It would explain last round.
Of course, I could explain what happened on my end, while we are waiting. Maybe Clerk is waiting for that?

The real Cop is still alive.
They may have a scan result on Hamilton Brian.
They may have a scan result on you.
They may have a scan result on me.
Endvoting is ever so slightly premature, do you not think?

I am a tad that Bozo is scum here and desperately hoped he could trick town into endvoting Hamilton Brian before the real Clerk says anything.

Re: Mafia 88: Murder at the Meadery - GAME THREAD
Okay, so it's quite simple. Town was failing and Vecna and Dip seemed like obvious scum. I had thought there was an okay chance that Balki was Clerk and scanned Vecna as scum, so I pretended with my hypo scans to guilty three players, the first being Vecna, then Dip, and then a throwaway hypo on Bozo suggesting he was Miller. I also suggested I had found a crumb.
Then, with the bot down, I planned to have claimed to have found all of the scans. I thought if I only revealed the Vecna scan that it would be unlikely the Clerk CC me, particularly if it was Balki.
I figured I would be believed and Mafia would NK me, mission accomplished.
But then Bunny kind of roleswapped with me, and got the NK instead.
Then Balki claimed and I thought it was probably true, and of course I was going to go along with a Dip scan, but was surprised I didn't even get RB.
TLDR my claim that Vecna was a guilty was actually a pure Ego play. I was making it up.

Same. But I really think that there is enough evidence to suggest he is less likely than Ham.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Thu May 16, 2024 9:09 pmI am a tad that Bozo is scum here and desperately hoped he could trick town into endvoting Hamilton Brian before the real Clerk says anything.
And Pirate is on the table now! Unless Balki did deduce there was a Town scan on them.

In that case, whatever happens from here, you played it very well.sweetandcool wrote: ↑Thu May 16, 2024 9:14 pmOkay, so it's quite simple. Town was failing and Vecna and Dip seemed like obvious scum. Thanks, but I think the real heroes are Bunny, Balki and the Clerk (Bona?!).Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Thu May 16, 2024 9:38 pmIn that case, whatever happens from here, you played it very well.sweetandcool wrote: ↑Thu May 16, 2024 9:14 pmOkay, so it's quite simple. Re: Mafia 88: Murder at the Meadery - GAME THREAD
Just to organize my thoughts, since the game isn't over unless Clerk has solved it
Town
Bona
Jamiet
Bozo
Scumpool
Ham
Pirate
Notes: I'm only confident of Bona being Town. Though I think it pretty likely Jamiet and Bozo are Town.
I assume Ham is the final Mafia. I think there is a small chance Pirate is it instead.
I can't help but think Dip's last post was a bit of a laugh, but I also think he was instructing his teammate to kill Balki.
I think he wouldn't bother doing that except for Pirate or possibly Ham.

Re: Mafia 88: Murder at the Meadery - GAME THREAD
RIP Balki
I look forward to hearing the cop scans.
However, don't reveal anything right now. If I indeed take the kill today, as VT, there will still be a mafia remaining. Cop still needs to remain alive.
We're at 5 to 1. Kill me it'll go to 4-1.
I am still not sure which of you is actually town.

I just remembered something.
During D1 you told me that you were excited to play the game.
But then later when you panicked and claimed, you revealed your fake crumbs and explained that you knew you wouldn't have time to play the game much, so you set up those crumbs in order to draw a NK.
This seems contradictory to me. Why would you be excited to play the game, while simultaneously be planning to eat an NK early on?

How are we going to hear the cop scans if the Cop does not reveal?Hamilton Brian wrote: ↑Thu May 16, 2024 10:20 pmRIP Balki

Re: Mafia 88: Murder at the Meadery - GAME THREAD
So when would make sense? Just before EOD7? Kill me, unless I got scanned as inno, we go 4 - 1 into the night. Presume 3-1 the next day. Would it stand that Clerk is sitting on scans of the 5 remaining players?Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Thu May 16, 2024 10:32 pmHow are we going to hear the cop scans if the Cop does not reveal?Hamilton Brian wrote: ↑Thu May 16, 2024 10:20 pmRIP Balki

1. If you got scanned as Inno, the Cop should tell us.
2. If the Cop doesn't have a scan result on you, they should continue to hide.
Yes?

Because sweet you are either misremembering something I said or misinterpreting something I said, and doing either/or intentionally or accidentally.

I am not sure I am suggesting anything Jamie; just kind of wondering outloud.
