Wow, I can't even figure out why I particularly asked Will that. I'm guessing it was because Vecna and Jamiet were online?
I know for a decent portion of D1 I was suffering paranoia about ghug and Jamiet being teammates. Probably had something to do with them both voting me in an insufferable manner (sidenote, imagine my disappointment when they both claimed RB).
But yeah, drawing a total blank here. I don't recall ever towning Jamiet D1, but you are correct that that post was indicating it.
Best guess is I was buttering Will up an just trying to get some thoughts out of him.
If I was Mafia I simply could have lied to you.

I thought it was unusual that sweetandcool assumed that was what I was implying and defended it.sweetandcool wrote: ↑Tue Apr 30, 2024 10:54 pm
Honestly the answer is that I had it in my head that there were 16 players not 18. I then multiplied by 2 to vaguely disguise my intention to use Will as RNG. I chose Will because he was online and active in thread.
Given that there was no prechat, it's hard to believe scum sweetandcool somehow coordinated with scum Will to fabricate a vote on Balki.
Conclusion:
1. NAI sweetandcool did an RNG bit.
2. Scum sweetandcool wanted an interaction with Will either as buddying or pretend buddying.
3. Any alignment sweetandcool did not fabricate a vote on Balki because that is ludicrously implausible.
I can certify that at least two of those conclusions are correct.
Your first posts you literally speculated about Will and I bussing just like previous games.
It was only logical to assume you had that in mind while asking me about my RNG bit that happened to involve Will.
I didn't speculate you were bussing because you had not expressed any suspicion of each other yet. I asked if you were mafia together mostly as a joke because of your ability to generate random interactions with your teammates when you are mafia.bozotheclown wrote: ↑Mon Apr 29, 2024 8:54 pmAre you mafia with Just again?
I looked at your M86 D1 interaction with Just after he started bussing you a number of times, and always concluded it was unlikely to be S/S, so nice job protecting Just in that game.

So just to be clear, obviously it is your actual theory that Bona and Sweet's long-running series of heated arguments, in this game, is scum vs scum theatre, a little show they are putting on to fool us? That is your actual theory.bozotheclown wrote: ↑Mon May 06, 2024 8:00 pmI thought you might have been talking about Just and Bonatogether from D1, but apparently not. You think that all of that argument between Bona and Sweet on D1 was a dramatic production of scum theatre?
You really think that, Bozo? They were yelling at each other for a good long time.
I would be impressed if that is true, Bozo, I really would.

I don't think I have seen Just obviously pocket someone as mafia like it appears he was doing with you D1, I think he would be more likely to do it to a mafia teammate knowing it would look like pocketing.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Mon May 06, 2024 7:50 pmWhy would I be anybody's top scumread?bozotheclown wrote: ↑Mon May 06, 2024 7:07 pmLoW and Vecna are your top scum reads? I could maybe flip Bozo.
Strongly prefer LoW or Vecna, but I could see Bozo being the third teammate. Would increase the chances LoW is Mafia if Bozo flips Mafia.
Your certainty during D1 that there was exact one mafia between Just and Bonatogether does not make sense to me.
sweetandcool had conflicting reads about you D1, which could be an indication he was distancing.
Your low level suspicion of sweetandcool D2 looks like possible bussing, as well as sweetandcool ignoring your vote while reacting to LoW and Vecna voting for him.
Your decision to vote for Bonatogether D1 EOD instead of one of the top 3 wagon was unusual, as brainbomb pointed out at the time.

I would not characterize their interaction that way, and sweetandcool has been town reading Bonatogether.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Mon May 06, 2024 8:08 pmSo just to be clear, obviously it is your actual theory that Bona and Sweet's long-running series of heated arguments, in this game, is scum vs scum theatre, a little show they are putting on to fool us? You already town read me, though:sweetandcool wrote: ↑Mon May 06, 2024 7:44 pmFair. Okay. Suppose LoW is scum.
Who would you suspect?
If we flip LoW today, and he is Town, that will shake my reads quite a bit. For starters, I would think your odds of being Town are dramatically improved.
sweetandcool wrote: ↑Fri May 03, 2024 7:09 amConclusions so far:
Town:
Bozo
Bona
sweetandcool
Jamiet
I feel good at least with the Bozo read because I independently Town read them.
The other two I'm just going to have to accept as town until we run out of suspects.

Bona was one of the top wagons at EoD1, Bozo. The rest of your argument here is entirely based on your suspicion that Sweetandcool is Mafia. You are making this assumption and then finding connections based on the assumption you have made.

##Vote Bozo, but why did you feel the need to do this by voting, instead of just, you know, saying it? If you think it is necessary to vote for someone, ##Vote Bozo, every time you want your points to be noticed, I think that is a bit silly.bozotheclown wrote: ↑Mon May 06, 2024 6:58 pmJamiet99uk wrote: ↑Mon May 06, 2024 12:37 pm@Bozo:Spartaculous wrote: ↑Mon May 06, 2024 2:53 am
At this point, bozo votes for Bona, Bunny, and worcej in very quick succession, none of which are getting any other votes.
Why did you do that?I was documenting this in case I ended up being the DK.

You could just have made a post like this:
This would have made your point without putting weird markers down in the vote history.bozotheclown wrote: ↑Mon May 06, 2024 6:58 pmIf I am DKed, please note that I think at least one of Bonatogether, BunnyGo, and Worcej bussed JustAChapCalledWill on D1.
Please take note of this, as I, Bozo, Robot Detective, King of the Circus, consider it to be important.

To be clear, I don't really agree with a point about vote tagging and creating weird vote tracker data. Doesn't really seem like a #scumpiracy to me.
