My viewpoint is give him the benefit of the doubt until we get a scan result. Wcs clerk is the N3 NK and we are left in a quandary and lose the first 2 night's scans. If clerk reveals scans today there will be no chance of scanning Ham. It's a bit of a gamble but one I'd rather take than a possible mk. I think a mk of Ham is a far greater probabilty than scum hitting the Clerk. Even if Ham is scum there are two others we can get today.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Mon May 06, 2024 12:21 pmSo Damo.damo666 wrote: ↑Sun May 05, 2024 10:54 pmhe crumbed CLERK day 1kingofthepirates wrote: ↑Sun May 05, 2024 10:49 pm
alright, that's fair. though I hope for an explanation later down the line.
I also don't want to vote ham right now, at least until someone explains to me what ham is claiming, I'm super confused as to the state of that discussion.
he strongly hinted at it under pressure EOD2
he now says he is vt and was trying to eat a NK (thus explaining why he couldn't reveal any scans and avoided ghug's and my call for them)
You are strongly confident that Hamilton is town because he planted a fake crumb and then fake claimed PR to save his own skin.
He's been telling a whole load of lies, so he must be town.
This is your viewpoint?

It's ä mystery.Lord of Words wrote: ↑Mon May 06, 2024 12:03 amSince Ham is here, I'm going to ask that if there was fair amount of belief that Ham was a cop ... why is he still alive?

I think it was a misdirection.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Mon May 06, 2024 12:22 pmThe all important D1 crumb that you now think was a lie, but you also believe it?damo666 wrote: ↑Sun May 05, 2024 10:56 pmThis summary omits the all important D1 crumb. Why bozo? Inconvenient?bozotheclown wrote: ↑Sun May 05, 2024 10:54 pm
Hamilton implied he was cop to avoid being the D2 DK, and is now saying he is not the cop but was trying to draw the NK. Mafia claiming a PR to avoid a DK when they are confident the DK will be diverted to a town is a common mafia play.
Re: Mafia 88: Murder at the Meadery - GAME THREAD
Obv not, I was pressing him to reveal scans.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Mon May 06, 2024 12:08 pmHe was sorting for quite a bit of D2 as well, had you missed those?damo666 wrote: ↑Sun May 05, 2024 10:26 pmI didn't see the crumb until after he revealed it. Why didn't you believe that before?
Why have you made a 100% u-turn?

The Jailor is dead. RBing the NK is the same as not using it.sweetandcool wrote: ↑Mon May 06, 2024 1:52 amI was just wondering about that.Balki Bartokomous wrote: ↑Mon May 06, 2024 1:37 amI think that the more curious thing about the Hamilton situation is that he was not role blocked last night. I don't believe we've had a RB claim today, have we?
I'm guessing Mafia just RB the NK.
They probably don't want to create anymore pseudo clears.
Obviously nobody would have believed Ham based on EoD2, so it is unsurprising they didn't even bother RBing him.
Or who knows, maybe I've got it all wrong and he is Mafia (insert shrug emoji)

At this point, bozo votes for Bona, Bunny, and worcej in very quick succession, none of which are getting any other votes.
Why did you do that?

Re: Mafia 88: Murder at the Meadery - GAME THREAD
Because the claim looked weak so they took a kill on an experienced player who might have been PR assuming if Ham was left we would mk him today as he clearly wasn't Clerk.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Mon May 06, 2024 12:32 pmIt's ä mystery.Lord of Words wrote: ↑Mon May 06, 2024 12:03 amSince Ham is here, I'm going to ask that if there was fair amount of belief that Ham was a cop ... why is he still alive?

But I am Ghug's team mate.sweetandcool wrote: ↑Mon May 06, 2024 6:20 amWow, I can't even figure out why I particularly asked Will that. I'm guessing it was because Vecna and Jamiet were online?bozotheclown wrote: ↑Mon May 06, 2024 5:58 amsweetandcool wrote: ↑Tue Apr 30, 2024 8:47 pm
Wow, I think I agree with your assessment, though Vecna is null for me.
What's tickling you about Vecna?
Who do you want to talk about? When you said you agreed with Just's assessment, it sounds like you meant his town read of Jamie, so why did Jamie become one of your top scum reads?sweetandcool wrote: ↑Wed May 01, 2024 6:33 pmIn order of willingness to vote for:

I know for a decent portion of D1 I was suffering paranoia about ghug and Jamiet being teammates. Probably had something to do with them both voting me in an insufferable manner (sidenote, imagine my disappointment when they both claimed RB).
But yeah, drawing a total blank here. I don't recall ever towning Jamiet D1, but you are correct that that post was indicating it.
Best guess is I was buttering Will up an just trying to get some thoughts out of him.

At the point of time in question, Sweetandcool was voting based on a random number.bozotheclown wrote: ↑Mon May 06, 2024 6:34 amWhat did the reference to sweetandcool mean in this D1 post?Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Mon Apr 29, 2024 9:38 pmWhat are your reasons for thinking that?

GM Note:
Due to ongoing climate catastrophes in his town, Rivera has had to sub out to help volunteer and tend to things.
D&W has offered to sub in. Let's hope the bot likes this.

it's basically claiming a gamesolve on d2. this is a scummy postbozotheclown wrote: ↑Sat May 04, 2024 5:15 pmI was not sure about Vecna, but I like this post because I think his POE are all reasonable scum candidates, including his 3 alternates.Vecna wrote: ↑Sat May 04, 2024 7:57 amThis game just got made a lot easier by the newer players putting in a few killer posts that pretty much absolves them.
The irritation with certain players is palpable.
Balki Bartokomous
kingofthepirates
Rdrivera2005
Bonatogether
Bozotheclown
Spartaculous
BunnyGo
Jamiet99uk
damo666
Lord of Words
ghug
Vecna
The above group is probably all town, in no particular order
Leaving a very easy poe:
Hamilton Brian
Sweetandcool
worcej
Maybe im wrong about 1, which is likely either Rdrivera, Kotp or Bona if some weird bussing occured.
But for now, fuck whether any of these slots bussed or not, thats a crapshoot anyway. Reads reign supreme.

Re: Mafia 88: Murder at the Meadery - GAME THREAD
can a guy not want to contribute to the vast wealth of his town without being called scummy for it?bozotheclown wrote: ↑Sat May 04, 2024 6:34 pmAnother theory I had was that it could be Bonatogether, worcej, and BunnyGo, who all had posts ready to go at the beginning of D2, while most of us who are town waited to see if we survived N1 before resuming the game. If it was something they decided in mafia chat, they might have overlooked that it showed a lack of concern about being the N1 NK.
Re: Mafia 88: Murder at the Meadery - GAME THREAD
saying that a group of people is "probable town" and that im unsure of 3 of the people in there due to bussing is not claiming a gamesolve.Bonatogether wrote: ↑Mon May 06, 2024 2:09 pmit's basically claiming a gamesolve on d2. this is a scummy postbozotheclown wrote: ↑Sat May 04, 2024 5:15 pmI was not sure about Vecna, but I like this post because I think his POE are all reasonable scum candidates, including his 3 alternates.Vecna wrote: ↑Sat May 04, 2024 7:57 amThis game just got made a lot easier by the newer players putting in a few killer posts that pretty much absolves them.

Regardless, I still think my solution is not that far off. Funnily enough after I posted that all of them happily joined my wagon with some support from our good friends damo and balki.
