To the people impressed by Sparta’s statistics work: do you think a new player who has been told he’s not seen hunting has that beyond his abilities? It said nothing about actually reading THIS game. It was just old game research which he was then able to apply to this game.

What about newbie immunity?

I'm not saying I put complete credence in everything Spart says and I definitely wide-eyed anyone Will has put as strong Town in this game (which includes Jamie and I, full disclosure), but still.

Newbie immunity is a day 1 pass from me. No more.

I want them to have fun and come back. But that still means playing the actual game with them.

The one thing that stands out to me from your post is that you said you "reread this thread three times", but were apparently not aware that DrFidelis subbed out after posting only 3 times, or that foodcoats was the victim of a vig shot. Can you explain this?

That's probably because I forgot to take them off the list when I typing up my read list on mobile, though I also have docx. with them off it, so I maybe I posted the wrong copy.

I know that this sounds weird to say (given the fact that you're currently voting me), but thank you for taking the time to explain to me how to play the game as town (or as Mafia-pretending-to-be-town). It helped a lot.
